I trust his equipment to be the highest caliber and his assessment to be accurate with a treatment plan that makes sense. Beccy - Corunna Michigan

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dietz today…read more The first impression of his office is a great one. His staff are extremely friendly, and available to you are Coffee, Tea, and Water. The office itself is extremely sharp, modern, and clean. Each room has it's own flat screen which doubles as a computer monitor. The chairs are some of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a Dentist's office, and also have a massage function. Dr. Dietz himself was highly professional, friendly, kind, and compassionate. His bedside manner was phenomenal, and he was very patient. Dr. Dietz uses a microscope that I have never seen used before during the surgery, that allows him to zoom in much further. The procedure itself was uncomfortable at times(as Root Canals are), but all in all I feel he did a very good job, certainly better than my previous Root Canal(done by a different Dentist). He was kind enough to call and check on me after hours, which I really appreciated. He squeezed me in as well, on a day he was booked. He obviously cares very highly about his patients. All in all a wonderful experience. I recommend him highly, if you are ever in need of the much dreaded Root Canal!

I thought McKinley - Holloway was going to be a great Dentist. Started off good with filling a bad…read moretooth that my original dentist recommend the tooth being pulled and suggested a surgical extraction - I went to McKinley - Holloway she said she could fill the tooth - which I agreed to. Then they did all kinds of procedures that I didn't approve of - thousands of dollars of work was recommended. I told them I didn't approve any of these procedures done. I was given a credit and later had a tooth filled and a different tooth pulled. So the credit I had was used up. I went to a new Dentist this week they did X-rays etc and found two teeth that need to be removed and recommended another Dental Surgeon which I met with today. The charges for the two teeth is going to be less than I paid for one with McKinley. So in closing - the prices of McKinley is way to high and appear to only want to do expensive procedures. Very disappointing. I will say this the Dentist did do a good job as far as the removal of the tooth. Unfortunately the tooth she filled is now one of the teeth that will have to be pulled so I wasted a lot of money having it filled.

All us Dental-Chickens have found a place to fly in and roost! My 84 year old mom lost two front…read moreteeth after eating a pretzel. We saw reviews on Yelp for this nearby dentist and decided to come on in. I am a huge dental-chicken but I will definitely be going here after I witness how they treated my mom. The work was quick, excellent and priced fair. What I really liked were how nice the people were! Every single person that you have to interact with were kind, knowledgeable and understanding. The actual office environment is very inviting & bright with books and artifacts to put you at ease. I found the music to be a bit loud in the waiting room but I'm sure if I said something they would have toned it down. DDS, Ray McKinley wrote a fascinating book; you can read it or purchase it while you are in the office.

Not in a million years would I ever have expected myself to either compliment an oral surgeon or to…read morerecommend one without reservation, but I am: Dr. Askar of Everest Endodontics along with Sydney, and Megan. Starting with Megan in the office--the perfect "front man" if ever there was one, Everest Endodontics took excellent care of me. In fact, I'll never have to find another endodontics provider again. Whew. In fact, they ticked all the boxes of Mike's Hierarchy of Needs with Style and Grace. ***Here they are: Give a darn about what you do. Do a great technical job. Don't hurt me. Involve me in my care. Be nice to me. My fear started to come back as I skeptically surveyed all the high tech items around me when I entered the treatment room. So many middling healthcare providers "juice the bill" and hide their incompetence behind "tech" like the Wizard did behind the Curtain in Oz. Not So Here! I personally benefited from each image taken, scope used, tool handled. The purpose and need for each image and device was explained to me, and every image viewed with me. I've looked at countless x-rays, MRI's, and CT scans, and I can tell you- his gear gets him great data with which he can really plan the procedures well. Dr Askar in particular did the most effective block I have ever experienced, and he did it patiently, without rushing, and in multiple painless stages. No kidding. Maybe one mild pokey feeling and that was it. The blocks lasted each entire procedure and were gone in several hours. Dr. Askar has really good hands. Since I wasn't in a traumatized state I was able to experience with admiration his Strength and Dexterity. My confidence in him grew by the minute and my ability to stay *comfortably* in the moment increased likewise. He never used the soft, sensitive tissue inside my mouth as a "foot rest" for his hands if you know what I mean. It's hard to explain just how respectful of me and my tissue was his technique, but as a person with decades of surgical experience I can tell you he was. He and Sydney work in a well choreographed dance. He is fast. He runs the room almost imperceptibly. At first I wasn't sure about Sydney the (dental assistant?-I apologize I don't recall your title) It seemed like she was gonna be one of those "all cold efficient business" types (oh no...please, not a Nurse Ratched... Stress meter going up!!), but as soon as she started making eye contact and talking With me--I melted with relief. She was just grand. She stood still and listened to my needs and concerns in a way that made me feel heard and cared about. Sydney worked with me to get my tight-necked crook-spine self comfortable in a position in which Dr Askar could work very effectively and did so without making be feel self-conscious or "needy." She and Dr Askar kept me informed of steps and their timing all along the way. She even took time after the procedure to continue teaching me and showing me things. Hi nice was that?! Sydney kept me comfortable. Honest to goodness, she raised the art of sticking things in and out of a mouth to a new level. Whether it was a bulky x-ray device or a sucker that needed to get "right exactly there" she got it done rightly and pleasantly. I never once had to ask her to suction or help her get out of my mouth what had to be got out. She just knew. Sydney should be made the Queen of Assistants. First Chair Extraordinaire! I was kind of a chore to get done, I know. So after Dr Askar was done reviewing every finding, technique, and implant, and after he cautioned me about pain, possible problems with infection, my medications, (well and fairly said), he gave me his cell phone number. Uh-oh. He must be expecting the worst. Then He CaLLEd Me! OMG! I'm gonna die. He's gonna tell me I'm a goner...Nope. He's just a man who gives a darn about what he does and the people for whom he does it. I'd never expect the warm fuzzies or a hug from him, but that all was just as good. Bring noise-cancelling headphones and listen to binaural "calm tracks" if you need to. That helps, too. Mike
