They never took advantage of a teachable moment either by trying to encourage him to interact with the other children or by encouraging the other children to include him. They took my daughters money through out COVID to hold his spot while they were closed, but when they re-opened they called her daily to tell her how he was inappropriate and didn't belong there. He is two years old. The lack of compassion for a little boy who cannot speak was heart breaking and infuriating to me. I am in the medical field as is my daughter and I have never seen such cruelty. The state should be involved in assuring all daycares private are safe and appropriate to care for our children. Please send your children elsewhere. All children need to learn compassion, empathy and kindness and they won't learn it here.

We have had nothing but a WONDERFUL experience here! The center is well run and immaculate, the staff is enthusiastic, caring, and engaging, and the curriculum is age appropriate. Having come from a family who ran a private day care center for 20+ years, I have a very high standards for where I would send my son and MB ticks all of the boxes! My son has THRIVED - MB has been supportive of him and have allowed him to learn at his own pace. He was involved with Early Intervention for the first two years of his life and even tested out early, given the support he received at MB. The daily actives are varied and keep him excited and he comes home eager to tell us about his day. MB staff and director have been supportive when we have concerns and have addressed our issues professionally and efficiently. We did have concerns about the wide age range in pre-school, but we are finding that the older kids are a wonderful influence on my son and that he will learn so much! The teachers also share the activities for the Pre-K kids in the room and we are looking forward to when my son wants to participate! They offer various programs like soccer and chess and always find ways to keep it interesting for the kids with new fun activities. They have also had guest speakers for the parents and events like a Spring Carnival for the entire family. I was hesitant after reading the review here on Yelp about an abrupt closure a few years back due to staff leaving. The school is under new ownership since reopening and the owners Johann and Mark are wonderful!! I'm so glad we ended up here. This is by far the best child care setting we have experienced.

There are very few adult members at any time at this location when I've been there when compared to others, whether morning noon or night. It's very crowded and stuffy with poor air circulation if you don't mind sweating a bit more in the gym and dehydrate faster. I wasn't comfortable. It's mainly for little rude kids at summer camp and large sizable child swimming classes if you can take them running though all the locker rooms and gym. The staffs councilors have very poor control over the small groups and do not speak up and control the group and let them do what they want and abuse the facility. There are far better gyms to go to in the area, such as Gloucester YMCA, which facilitates both nicely, and you get a break from the kids at least because the gym is upstairs. It's set up pretty well, unlike Danvers. The front desk staff have no idea what they are doing and sit playing games on the computer, not paying attention as I've noticed a few times while children run wild in the lobby. Go elsewhere if you don't want kids getting in the way playing out of control games.

I've been told by our pediatrician that both of my boys are meeting their developmental milestones at an advanced rate, despite my oldest son experiencing a late start with his speech skills. His attentive teachers were quick to identify this milestone delay and offered various resources tailored to his needs. Thanks to ABB's dedicated staff my son was able to build a large vocabulary, read, and write by the age of 4! We couldn't have overcome this delay without ABBs skilled and diverse team.
