I love this furniture store. It's been here for at least a couple of decades. I bought my beautiful huge dining room table here in 2003. One of the best pieces of furniture I have - durable, versatile, and timeless. Buying here was easy. No one hovers over you while you browse, yet they are accessible for questions. Do be careful walking up and down the stairs, they are kinda steep and narrow. There are two huge floors with mainly wood pieces for every room in the house. There also several upholstery pieces like sofas and chairs. I plan on my next bedroom set coming from Forever. Parking is easy. Checked out this furniture store thinking we may find a fun little piece but ended up finding a dining room table and buffet! This place is so fun to walk around, it's two stories in the giant historic brick building on 4th street. So many different types and styles of furniture, most out of our price range, but fun to look at anyways. Lots of new pieces but also some random antique pieces here and there. The store has a antique store meets global furniture market flair. We headed upstairs where we found a table, chairs, and buffet that fit our price range and aesthetic. The owner (I forgot his name ) was very pleasant and helpful, and not pushy at all. We didn't get the table right away but showed him the one we were thinking of. After deciding upon in the next couple days all we did was give him a call and got our table delivered within a week! It may not be that quick for all pieces , it depends on the manufacturer, availability, etc. but worked out well for us. I told my mom about this place and she ended up finding a chair and side table as well! read more

We just Love this furniture store, here in downtown Reno, they stock such quality furniture, we have bought several pieces of very nice furniture. I have a couple of pieces, that are over 20 years old, and still just like new. We did find our perfect Corner TV stand, looks great and fits perfect in our bedroom. The very best thing I find about your store, is that you can bought right off the floor, no waiting and no ordering, that means a great deal to me.(Very Impatient customer) They do offer delivery, but nice that they wrapped and loaded the piece in our SUV. I LOVE LOVE LOVE shopping in this furniture store! First, make sure you have an hour or two to wander around because the inventory is so unique. Located in a really eclectic old building, I love the energy that this location exudes. They have really cool furniture that you can't find anywhere else. They have new furniture (couches, beds, tables) but also carry a lot of antiques and reclaimed furniture and decor. The reclaimed is my favorite. Picture an old oxen wheel and reclaimed teak wood made into a sofa table....beautiful! Antique Indian doorways made into bookshelves....can you picture it? This has become one of my favorite places to visit for ideas and decor for the home. The owner and salespeople are very friendly but they let you shop around without hovering, which I appreciate. Also if there is something special you are looking for, just ask and they will look for it when they go to market. Definitely stop in here if you like the unique...even if it is just to window shop! read more

Do you live in an American Craftsman-style bungalow? Are you a legit adult? If so, you will probably love the furniture here. Everything is big and heavy and wood and plush leather. Substantial, classic furniture. Expensive, too. I am an IKEA-loving millennial who wishes she had the dough for furniture from Room & Board. So what Forever Yours has is neither my style nor price range. But when I first moved to Reno, my older, big house-owning colleagues spoke highly of the store. I checked it out on a number of occasions. It is a huge store, and they have a large selection. When there was money in my department's budget for new furniture, my American Craftsman-loving department chair purchased an absolutely gorgeous conference table from Forever Yours. It is a beautiful, high-quality piece of furniture, and it makes me happy to have faculty meetings around it. This summer we are getting an equally gorgeous long wood settle bench for the atrium of building we are moving to. That sucker cost us just under $4,000. Damn, yo! Forever Yours does what it does well. I'd rather have a 4th Street IKEA, though! read more

This store blew me away! We decided to walk between Pigeon Head and Under the Rose on 4th and we came across Forever Yours. I stared at it for a minute and then remembered the commercials. They sold the Murphy bed I was wanting. We headed into the store and was shocked at the amount and quality of the furniture in this store. Everything I saw was beautiful and the prices seemed reasonable for good furniture. The two gentlemen working there were very friendly, and not pushy! One showed me back to where the Murphy bed were so I could look. He told me everything (if I remember correctly) was made in the US and was solid wood. It's so hard to find good quality furniture. The craftsmanship was obvious from dinning room tables to bedroom furniture (I didn't make it upstairs, yet!). Next time I'm on the hunt for a piece of furniture, I'm starting here! read more

Didn't buy anything here but that doesn't mean we wont be back. I have never seen so much quality furniture in one place. The price point is a bit higher than the chain stores but the inventory is of much better quality. We enjoyed just touring around and looking at what is available. Will definitely look here again when we are serious about buying. Went to check out Forever Yours after hearing many of the sales associates I work with refer clients there and knowing that a friend bought his dining room table with them. I have to say I was disappointed on a few levels. 1. One of my biggest pet peeves: Lack of customer service! I don't know if this is systemic to Reno, but it does seem to happen a lot in this town! We walked in and were not greeted, even though there were two sales associates sitting behind the counter. One of them even made eye contact with us! Business must be booming if they don't need to engage you in any way! 2. Selection was limited. The style was definitely geared more toward a country/traditional design scheme. I guess that is the market here in Reno, so I can't really blame them for that. However, then there were random "found" Indian pieces and other large rustic looking case pieces. 3. The prices seemed excessive for the quality of furniture. Even with their 15% discount, the prices for certain pieces were off the charts! Some of those Indian pieces, were well over $1000 and many were damaged! I would gladly pay more money for something like the Simply Amish furniture, knowing the quality and craftsmanship that goes into it. I think there were good deals to be had, you just need to be selective and cognizant of the quality. Overall, I think the lack of customer service is what but a huge damper on this place for me. I could understand if they were swamped with customers and were understaffed, however, there was only one other couple in the store at the time. I would have loved to hear about the different lines they carried or what makes them special in this competitive furniture market. Alas, I wasn't given the opportunity and I probably won't be back. read more

I had recently been couch shopping and was 99% sure I found the "one" at Macy's but looking a little more couldn't hurt. For some reason, I kind of assumed that Forever Yours was going to be HELLA expensive so I really had no intention of buying anything. I was just killing time while I got my oil changed across the street. I was greeted by JT when I came in. Not in an obnoxious "I want your sale" kind of way, but rather a genuine inquiry as to how I was and if I needed help. At first glance around the floor, I didn't see any sectionals so I was forced to ask. Let me say that I really really hate pushy sales people and so I tend to shy away from ALL sales people and try and find things on my own. Asking is an absolute last resort. JT showed me to where a few were but they didn't really suit my needs. When I explained what I was looking for he led me straight to my dream couch. Seriously, it was everything I was looking for. Super comfy, HUGE, and deep - so much so that my legs stick straight out when I am sitting on it. Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Ok, so I found this great couch buuuuut what's it going to cost me? I had already priced out the one I wanted at Macy's and it was damn similar this one EXCEPT this couch is made in Salt Lake City. That's right, made in the USA out of quality materials. Real hardwood and steal. Not compressed boards shipped from overseas. So that's a huge warm fuzzy. You know what else is a huge warm fuzzy? It was comparable to what I would have spent at Macy's. Yup, "would" have spent. I bought that couch and it should arrive in 4 weeks! I never felt pressured by JT and the rest of the staff that I interacted with were pleasant as can be. I highly recommend Forver Yours. Reasonable prices for quality furniture AND you're supporting local business. WIN-WIN. read more

After looking at sooo many crappy furniture stores all over Reno at the same half-assed manufactured stuff, this place was a sight for sore eyes. There is some 'out there' stuff that you need special decor to accomodate but the "Simply Amish" and other custom furniture lines are just what we were looking for. They have an eclectic mix of stuff. A lot of it is geared to the Art and Crafts style. They are low key (some have equated this to poor service). If you have questions they are very attentive. Very high-quality furniture. I wish I could include pictures, to show how great our home looks with the furniture I've bought from them over the last twenty-plus years . Their furniture really does last forever, and I never get tired of it. Last items purchased were a couch and loveseat. Very comfortable and add a wonderful touch of "homey." I have a modest home, but their items have given it class and style. So far, have not had to replace any piece of I've bought from them due to wear, multiple moves, or any other reason. The store is run by the owners, who are very nice, helpful, solid people. I do get compliments on all the pieces I've bought from them.
