We just had our furniture delivered. They did an excellent job. We have a spiral staircase and I was a little nervous about a heavy piece (desk armoire) going upstairs. They did a masterful job of hoisting it up without a scratch on the piece, the walls or the banister. All the other heavy pieces were downstairs and went in perfectly. The selection of prime pieces in the showroom is vast and prices are a real value. All the employees are friendly and helpful. We recommend them wholeheartedly and we will shop there again. P. This a consignment store for antiques and other furniture. This is a great place to find beautiful second-hand furniture. They have their own website where you can search for items that you are interested in and would like to purchase. The staff is very helpful and they also offer an option to deliver your furniture for $75. I met the owner who is knowledgeable about their products and a down to earth type guy. I have been looking for a coffee bar/liquor cabinet buffet/hutch for my dining room. A lot of the ones I have found online are particle board and the real wood ones are out of my price range for this project. I stopped in to browse today and found a great buffet/hutch for $220.00. I asked for the dimensions to see if this would fit in my SUV and they were nice enough to measure the item and let me borrow their measuring tape to check the room in my vehicle too. When I came back inside my item tag was at the counter. I noticed that if you pay with a credit card there is a extra charge so, I paid with my debit. I was told to drive my car up to the doors and promptly two gentleman helped load my item into my vehicle. I measured incorrectly, so I do appreciate them working with me to get this item into the vehicle. There are a lot of random pieces so this place is definitely worth checking out for real wood items that are clean and in good condition. read more

I used to love this store and stop by all the time to walk through and see what they have but now I am getting really annoyed by all the new furniture they have for sale. If I wanted to shop for new furniture I would go to a regular furniture store. For example, I recently saw a cute outdoor patio set... $3500!? You have to be kidding me. People who shop at this store are not looking to spend that much. The 'new vendor' items are slowly spreading and taking up more space in the store. Its annoying seeing something you like and then finding out its a new item and way out of your budget range. They shouldn't have any new items for sale according to their name, but at least just have a dedicated section of the store with the new items. With that caveat, they still have a good selection of furniture that is constantly changing. read more

Wonderful! They are my go to place. My home could be used as another show room lol. I have a couch, loveseat, bed, dining table, artwork and even a massage chair all from there. The staff is always very welcoming and will answer any questions you may have. But they don't bother you, they let you browse which is very appreciated. read more

I'm very unhappy. The General Manager, Dan Brock, told me he would take a $8000 Marge Carson couch to resell along with a small chest and a 3 piece set of bedroom furniture. When the driver got here, he looked at the couch first and sent a picture to Dan who said styles changed and he didn't want it. So I didn't even deal with the other pieces, I just told them to leave. I was pissed and aggravated that I had to wait two weeks to get this stuff picked up and then after making me wait that long and telling me they would take it, they changed their mind. I am trying to get the house emptied out to sell and their delay cost me two weeks that I could have finished cleaning out the house and getting it listed for sale. I didn't have them look at the other furniture as it was dark wood so I figured "styles had changed" on that too, besides being really pissed. I will say the two drivers who came over were very nice but I will never do business with Consign Furniture again. Just because they say they want something, doesn't mean they really do so if you don't mind being strung along and held up in whatever you're doing, they're great. If you want someone who does what they tell you, in a timely manner, they are not the place for you. They are probably a good place to buy good furniture at a decent price but if they treat all their sellers like me, they won't have any furniture for you to buy. I would avoid them, there are easier places to do business with. read more

I bought items here before but it has been awhile. Went in looking for a desk chair and a recliner. I felt the recliners were priced too high for a used piece of furniture. A person would do better buying from sales online. I can get a brand new recliner that is nice and major brand at Big Lots for the same or less than the prices I saw here. I scoured the whole store trying every chair in the place. Not many were comfortable or without signs of use. I finally found a desk chair that I thought might work for me and it was priced right for a used chair. Keep in mind, Amazon sells desk chairs for $100 and up so it is hard to justify paying higher at this store. But I found one that would work for me and it was in okay shape. I needed one that day so I bought it. Now you would think someone would have helped this old lady to the car with the chair, your wrong. I had to get the car pull up in the front and load myself. It was not light but I finally got it in the back of my SUV. The man behind the counter did not even offer to help get it to the front door. I guess they only help when you pay extra to have it delivered. So I don't think I will buy a recliner here because there is no way I could get that or any other large furniture into my truck. read more

If you say you're going to mail the check, I don't know what is so difficult about that. Maybe "shady" was a bit harsh, but a little communication would have went a long way so you are not leaving customers hanging. read more

The two guys from consign furniture were careful and respectful. Although I had to pay $50 for pickup, which I thought abusive since I make so little on the consignment, they were selective about what they were willing to accept. They do, however, sell the items quickly...with a 97% sale rate so it makes sense to be selective, I guess. Sold all but one antique item within a week. But total payout was only $150 and that was for 2 like new side tables and 4 like new upholstered bar chairs. Meager, at best. I knew all this upfront so I am not complaining.
