Tommy was the most sweetest person ever to me, explaining the T-shirts and their various fits and features. He even offered me the best sparking water I've ever had in my life. He also gift wrapped what I bought in the cutest packaging. They don't carry women's clothes so just keep that in mind that this is a men's store only. Also there's no parking. I parked in the parking lot at the Montrose collective. I always wondered about this store with the porsche in it and now I know how great it is. Will be back to buy my man more stuff as the holidays come :)

If you're looking for a last minute dress, top, shoes, or scarf for your night out, avoid University Drive and just head here. The clothes are affordable, but aren't genera-hip (ie bland) like some other, cheaper shops a block over. You're not really going to run into someone else with the exact same dress. And you're not going to be wearing much polyester. The cotton to poly-fiber ratio is about 5:5 here which is saying something, especially since the clothes are relatively inexpensive and relatively well-made. Again, this sounds mildly negative, but last minute is last minute and I wouldn't want you to waste your time either paying too much or getting a sub par outfit somewhere else. In fact, the last time I was here, I almost got a really cute, yet edgy strapless dress. Creamy white with a graphic silver, gold, and bronze pattern, and a fullish, layered skirt. Super cute, but I'm not certain how chilly or blazing hot New Years is going to be. Hmm. There are now five Em & Lee shops in town. Of the ones I've been to, including West Grey, I like this one the best. It's the warm wood interior. I'm not certain if that's left over from Hemline, but well, it's more inviting. Also, there were no sixteen year old River Oaks prima donna wannabes flitting about.

I had previously spent a bit of time browsing the sales racks of various stores (both department and independent retail shops) and couldn't find anything under $100 and wasn't skankified. I purchased a pale pink/nude-toned dress that was a poly-chiffon. It had a rouched top with a pleated skirt. It was $76 (regular price!) and an appropriate length. They also have a variety of cute tops and casual dresses. It's trendy but not too much. Although, the sizing is more like junior sizing so you may find yourself in between sizes. I appreciate the coupons they have on their website and facebook page. I got $10 off of my purchase because of that.

For example, I've seen a number of LuckyBrand items. All cute and well made, but while on sale in the Lucky stores, they are full price in Rendezvous. Hmmm. If you have an aversion to the under 20 set, I wouldn't recommend this store. The majority of employees and shoppers, save their mothers, are on average 18 years old. It's worth a walk through if you're in the area, but not worth the drive from The Galleria. Oh, and just a note in reference to "Fashion C's" review, while Free People and Betsy Johnson have great designs, the clothes are a bit over-priced for the poor quality of their clothing. Made to last one season. Perhaps not the most tasteful thing to have on the set, and yet there it is. The clothes are trendy, okay priced, but not wonderfully made. Given that it was a special event (Mistletoe Madness), you would've thought that they'd hire more help. They were disastrously understaffed and one "changing room" was not cutting it. The quotation marks around the word "changing room" are there because it was really just a bathroom. And evidently there was some mysterious and elusive list that you had to get on to use the bathro, err. . .dressing room, but none of the sales associates bother even offering to put my name on the list even as I sat there with a dress in my hand waiting by the bathroom door. They do have a smaller men's section that contains seemingly only British style button-down shirts. Many of them were a bit on the girly side with way too much floral work, but that seems to be all the rage with hipsters so I'm sure they do well. Evidently they also have another store in the Woodlands (or was it Katy?) that carries the same stuff. While the clothes were pretty cute, some of it was a bit out there and it was much too trendy for my tastes. I just cannot justify spending that much money on something that is such a fashion statement and will be "out" next season.

The boutique was smelling so nice inside, many of the oil fragrances were there throughout the store. Most of the stuff here was different and unique but was way pricier compared to other boutiques. This was my first visit to this place. The colors were mostly sober and selection was mostly casual with some trendy items, liked few things but generally were not to my liking. Staff were very friendly and were smiling and ready to help.

This is now one of their flagship locations. While I don't shop at Lululemon very often, I had seen the store upgrades broadcasted all over social media and when one of the run clubs that I follow had a one day activation partnership, I decided to pay a visit. The store itself is nice. The ceilings are high, they have a lot of products, including a range of sizes, and there are many fitting rooms equipped with plenty of mirrors, leaving no wait in line. The not so nice thing about this location was the behavior of the staff. Almost everyone working in the store seemed like they were 16 years old. The age isn't an issue, but while I was trying on a few items, I could hear them laughing and making jokes to themselves over their head sets. It just felt kind of unprofessional. I honestly don't really shop in store any more so this might not be exclusive to this location but it wasn't the best.

I love this store and the clothing, but had a horrible experience with the staff recently…read more When I entered the store no one was on the floor for at least 5 minutes. Eventually one of them said "oh hi" from the back. Another customer walked in and greeted me because she thought I worked there since no one else was out. They eventually came onto the floor. As I shopped, I asked one of them if they had all sizes out and they responded from across the store that they had additional sizes in the back for some things so I asked her her to check on a couple of items, she then asked if I wanted to start a room since I was holding 12 items at this point. I accumulated more items and the other woman came up to me to ask if I wanted it added to my room and said "we have a limit on items", but failed to say what it was and walked away. My cousin joined me in the store and they did not greet her, and I explained to her no one had been greeted. She left the store and I went to try my items on. During my 30 minutes in the dressing room, they checked on me once. When I went to the counter to pay I placed my items in the counter and one of them asked if I found anything I liked, and I said yes everything on the counter. Then she was surprised and asked if I wanted to know the cost of each item, I declined. At this point they began to pay attention to me because I was spending a large amount of money. Just terrible terrible degrading experience.
