This Lululemon, located in Highland Village, got a major upgrade at the very end of 2025, expanding out to 9,400 square feet of modern architecture and an in store La La Land coffee shop. This is now one of their flagship locations. While I don't shop at Lululemon very often, I had seen the store upgrades broadcasted all over social media and when one of the run clubs that I follow had a one day activation partnership, I decided to pay a visit. The store itself is nice. The ceilings are high, they have a lot of products, including a range of sizes, and there are many fitting rooms equipped with plenty of mirrors, leaving no wait in line. The not so nice thing about this location was the behavior of the staff. Almost everyone working in the store seemed like they were 16 years old. The age isn't an issue, but while I was trying on a few items, I could hear them laughing and making jokes to themselves over their head sets. It just felt kind of unprofessional. I honestly don't really shop in store any more so this might not be exclusive to this location but it wasn't the best. read more

This location is great if you want to avoid the inconveniences of the Galleria. However, the store is smaller compared to the Galleria. Sales associates were helpful in finding sizes and the dressing rooms were clean. My one complaint is there's no restroom inside the store. You have to walk to a neighboring store to use a restroom, so just a head's up. There's a Starbucks nearby to solve that issue. read more

I called the store at 6pm for a stock check and was able to confirm the item that I was inquiring about was available and asked to put it on hold. They agreed, took my name down and shared with me that they would be closing at 7. I drove out there and admittedly I made it 7:00. All the employees had been standing at the door when I walked up and let me know they were closed. I mentioned the item I had on hold and they told me they had sold the product. Such a waste of my time and gas. I understand that they were ready to go home, I am also ready to go home after a long day at work. But please set realistic expectations. I got there just before close (which I try to avoid because I used to work retail and by closing everyone is exhausted), and was immediately helped by Molly who was more than happy to help me. Lululemon is definitely a luxury athletic brand in terms of prices but the quality is reflected in their clothing. The staff have always been incredibly friendly and the store very organized. I especially love this location because they host so many different events for the community. The boyfriend and I partook in the holiday lights 5K this past Christmas and were pleasantly surprised by how many people showed up. There were serious runners who were talking about how the 5K was going to be a good warm up for their "actual" workout - I lol'ed. There were also people like my boyfriend and I who probably spent more time looking at the Christmas lights around River Oaks than running - feel free to lol @ me. I don't wear these clothes, I was in there buying a yoga mat so this review is about the people who work there. They were very nice and helpful. I didn't even know they made long mats for tall people till I got there. Pretty big store for the area, very clean and well lit. To me the clothes for men seem over priced. Personally I'd rather buy Under Amour, but my gf loves this stuff, so it must be good. Not trying to knock the brand, but definitely geared for women (unless a guy likes to wear spandex). Even the yoga mats are expensive but I have a few friends that have them and they love them. As long as it lasts I'm willing to pay a little extra. read more

I'm not the person to ever write bad reviews, especially because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. However, Maya or Mayan, with pink hair was absolutely rude. I tried to make a return, and she said she would not take it because it was 30 days from the purchase date and because "it was worn". I've never had such bad service from a Lululemon representative. The item had a tag, and if she used her brain cells she would know that the purpose of a return is because the item did not work out. So yes, I did try it on to realize it did not look well on me. I don't appreciate that she made me feel as if she was accusing me of lying that I had worn the item, to just return it by the way she was speaking to me. The clothing here makes me feel sexy! Too bad I haven't bought any, so let me talk about my real experience here: Sunday Sunset Yoga Class. I think anyplace "that talks the talk, should walk the walk". That means that if you're an outdoor equipment store you do events that are outdoors; a store that sells cooking ware means you have cooking classes/tastings. So if you're going to sell yoga clothing & equipment, you do yoga. And that's what they do at Lululemon. On Sundays at 6pm at their Highland Village location, they have a free yoga class taught by what I've heard are the many fine instructors from all over Houston. My well toned friends have recommended that I try out yoga, and this was my first opportunity to get my feet wet (or at least sweaty). One friend who shall remain nameless (Michelle - not a Yelper - lame) said we should try it out. Unfortunately she bailed which meant I had to face the yoga class alone, but prepared (Thankfully I had a borrowed mat, clipped my toenails, and farted before entering the store - it's a yoga joke). So in a large, warm feeling retail space with candles and nice music, I meditated, stretched, balanced, breathed and sweated for an hour under the instruction of a lady named Stacy. People of all levels, shapes & sizes (mostly better than me) enjoyed the class. And I admit, I did too. The moral of the story: If you've never tried yoga, come here. If you already do, come here and try out an instructor. If you already have an instructor, check out the cool, sexy (isn't getting in shape always sexy) yoga clothing. A year ago, I bought my first lululemon piece- a Gather V tank that was a little too tight for me but it was on the sale rack so I bought it anyways. I always do things like that. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I was raised to be really cheap. But that stinginess went out the window. I stepped in the store for a free Piyolet class, and suddenly I was shelling out big bucks for flattering workout gear. I've always loved finding ways to make an outfit flexible enough to take me from work, to play, to going out, to working out. For a girl working in the corporate world who also teaches dance who also likes yoga and also likes to get a workout in, the versatility of lululemon gear is perfect. Yes, now I'm buying lululemon at full price. Which is really, really steep. So ridiculously steep that I think something's wrong with me. Oh, strict Asian upbringing, where did you go? For that, I dock one star. Otherwise, for the good, read on. STORE The store is clean, relatively spacious, and usually well-organized. I LOVE how many "hooks" they have in the dressing rooms, so you can easily arrange and access the clothes you are about to try on. I usually wear a "small" in tops and I am a size 6 in their tanks. The colors are flattering, and the variety of tops/bottoms is designed so that any body type can find something that makes 'em look fantastic (boobs and butt both). If you throw a cardi over their cute, anti-wrinkle/anti-stink tanks and pull a pair of slacks over their Wunder Unders, you can be ready to go to the gym or Memorial Park in 2 minutes flat. Many of the tanks and tights have hidden or zippered stash pockets. They also have great, wear-with-anything jackets and hoodies. Lots of thumbholes in the pullovers so you can go running in cold weather. And of course the catchy names of EVERYTHING. Okay one more thing. I'm REALLY REALLY SHORT and they hem for FREE. I think when I read this in Allie's review, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. BAGS The lululemon gym bags are great because many of them fit a laptop AND your workout clothes AND your shoes AND they have a reusable, washable bag to put sweaty stuff in. AND they look classy and cute. All the bags have a bunch of interior pockets (I love bags with lots of pockets) and usually an exterior one for your water bottle. YOGA From slipless headbands to skidless towels to stainless water bottles to stretch-n-go straps, everything in the store is about "fit and function" and you don't sacrifice style either. This weekend I _forced_ my quiet husband into Lululemon to look at Yoga clothes. My husband took up Yoga last year and has been wearing comfortable clothes to exercise, but they are now falling apart. I'd heard such wonderful things about their clothes, that I somehow got my husband in the door. We were warmly greeted and asked several times if we needed help. My husband ended up (after much coaxing) trying on and purchasing a pair of shorts and a new yoga towel. He's very happy with his purchase and I'm happy with the service and quality of clothing. A friend we were with got her pants altered for free (for a second time since she lost weight). Lululemon offers free alterations for the life of the clothing. Wow! Sure, the stuff is pricey ($68 for my husband's shorts), but the amount he actually pays for the yoga classes dwarfs the clothing cost. So, as long as these hold up, as I will guess that they will, then they are well worth it. read more

I finally caved in and drank the Lululemon kool-aid. Normally for workouts I'll throw on a pair of shorts and whatever tank or tee I can find. Now that I'm doing hot yoga, my mismatching clothes weren't cutting it. By the end of class my tops come out drenched and clingy. It was time to get serious and I walked out with several yoga specific outfits. For starters the Wunder Under pants are fantastic! They're comfy enough to both lounge about and workout in. The same goes for their tops. My favorite is the No Limits line because I like the loose fitting and multi-layered look. Also the moisture wicking properties of their clothes aren't advertising lies or wishful thinking! You won't get that sad, wet cat feeling after a workout. The best part is that no matter what pieces you buy they all come together as a complete outfit. Mixing and matching at its easiest. While it still takes me a minute to throw something on. I had received the align 21 pants as a gift. I wear size 2 in all of my regular clothes. These size 2 were very tight. So after looking at their website, I see that I should be wearing a size 6. I don't know why their sizes are so different from other types of clothing. I went to Lulu this morning to try to exchange for size 6. I did not have my receipt as it has been a month or so. I have a confession. I am a "luluhead". That's a nickname for major fans of this brand of activewear with Canadian roots. I'm not sure what luon fabric is. For all I know, like lululemon, it's just a manufactured word that's catchy and fun to say, but most of the garments are made of this magical luon fabric. You can pay your rent or car note or drop it all at lululemon. The addictive powers of this store, this brand, their clothing will draw you in. The groove pants and run spirit tights will definitely enhance the bedunkadunk. All that luon fabric keeps it in, somehow pushes it up, enhances and camouflages. And it's comfortable as all get out. You feel magically fit, or at least better than you did before you pulled on those groove pants. And that should be motivation to move that kiester! The employees at this location are all happy and beautiful. It could border on obnoxious, but somehow, the supernatural powers of lululemon dashes that negative thought and you're just thrilled that such happy, beautiful people are so ready to help you. Tell me where'd you get yo body from I got it from my mama will.i.am must have been talking about a girl wearing lululemon because their pants can make anyone's ass look HOT. There's been many times in the past when I went shopping in other cities and I saw lululemon athletica. The trendy decor attracted me and I walked into this athletic wear store thinking I'm going to buy me some cute work out clothes. I look at the price tag. $90 for cotton work out pants?!?! Why would I pay $90 to buy plain work out pants to sweat in? Am I in American Apparel? Back then, I was just starting yoga taking beginner level classes at 24 Hour Fitness. I wore whatever to class. Fast forward to today. I've been doing yoga for just over a year and progressed to doing power vinyasa yoga 2 times a week at a yoga studio. I started noticing that everyone in the class wore lululemon athletica. At this point, I figured there was probably something good about the attire if all 20 people in my class are wearing $90 pants yoga pants (and by the way, their asses looked great in these pants). I finally caved in and paid a visit to lululemon. OH. MY. GOD. The pants make your body look amazing! If you got a lil extra junk in the trunk, they squeeze it in nicely, yet comfortably to give you a tight look. If you got a flat ass, then the contouring gives you the illusion of curves. And best of all, their trademark luon fabric that their clothing is made out of is incredibly comfortable, wicks moisture, and stays in place when you work out. Now I understand the price tag. Now I'm totally obsessed with lululemon and absolutely love wearing their attire for working out, whether it be yoga, running, or going to kickboxing class. Best of all, if you get the black leggings (called Wunder Unders), they can double as work out pants AND as black leggings to wear with your dresses, boots, and every day fashion. SCORE! I wear them to go salsa dancing because it allows me to dress up, yet wear fabric that breathes well. Best of all, the people who work at the store are so incredibly friendly as well as yoginis and/or runners. As Elle Woods from Legally Blonde said, "Exercise gives you endorphins--endorphins make people happy and happy people just don't shoot their husbands... they just don't." Everyone here is definitely happy and full of endorphins :) They also offer free work out classes! All through January, they have PiYoLet (pilates, yoga, ballet) on Sundays. Two words: Hardcore Pilate's. This class totally kicked my abs... It was my first lululemon class (I figured I should try it out since half of my workout wardrobe comes from here). I was expecting light stretching, and that I'd go for a run after. Instead, it was an hour of hip hop tunes and powerful moves that kept my heart beat up and my core burning. What a great workout! They served mimosas and strawberries after the class ended... I was too sore to indulge (I needed real food!), but I thought that was a nice touch. Come at least 10 minutes early, or else you might be stuck in the corner where you can't see the instructor. read more

I'm not sure if it's the funk from yoga class or the sweaty clientele, but get some air circulation in there, mmkay? Besides that, there are always enough people around to help when making your selections. The clothes hold up well and really do move well with your body for the intended sport. I never find anything on the sales rack as it's almost entirely size 000 or size 26. Nothing in between. Free hemming with your purchase, though I haven't used the service. This store is located in the Highland Village area and there is a decent sized parking lot in the front. When I first walked in, I was really impressed at how big the store was. I think it might be bigger than the Galleria location, but don't quote me on that. They had a lot of apparel in plenty of sizes. I planned to get shorts and a tank and they had plenty in my size, which made me very happy because I had a few to choose from. Just like how it is at the other locations, the employees are really helpful and friendly! This location might be best to go to instead of the Galleria location if you want to avoid crazy shoppers and go directly to the store without any distractions! read more

This was my first time in this store and the immediate vibe I received was elitist group of crossfitters/ yoga enthusiasts. To me this was kind of like where the Abercrombie fanatics went after they grew out of the ripped jeans and extra medium t-shirts. I came here because I received a giftcard from one of my friends so I decided to give them a chance. I was interested in getting a tank and that's what I tried on. I tried on 3 tanks that were the same style, with 2 of them being the same color but different sizes and the 3rd one being just a different color. After trying them on I noticed discrepancies in the sizing and confirmed it with my girlfriend who was outside the fitting room. While I asked her, the fitting room attendant added her opinions on the fit on me, saying how great I looked in it and that it's a really great color and tank. Thanks? But I think I just said to my girlfriend that it was too tight and the color was weird...? I've been in retail sales before and this felt like a pushy sell. Shortly after another associate came and reassured how awesome the tank is. I was still doubtful. I got the tank anyway despite my initial thoughts and went about my day. Workout clothes for men from Nike and other brands are comparable to Lululemon as far as fit but the price point is far off ($60 tank from Lululemon compared to $25 from Nike). I had been hearing about Lululemon for ages, and decided to pop in there, once I really started getting into the groove last year to see what all of the hubub was out. This place is the mcmuffin of work out clothes, I kid you not. First off, the people that work there are all dewy, tan, fit, and zen like, so you automatically hope and pray if you jump into their $75 yoga pants you will look 1/4th like them. Oh Please God Please! I swear I won't have the mac and cheese from Beaver's for the next 6 months! Anyway, the price is a bit steep, but IT LASTS! The yoga pants, and capris, make your ass look AMAZING! It's like wearing workout spanx! The material really does breath--ahhhh! and the colors and variety of pants and tops (hot pink anyone?) really helps with your boobage (or lack thereof) The staff is very friendly, and helpful with sizes, and they offer free yoga classes on the weekends. Lululemon has a magic power. It can take an ordinary girl and transform her in to a lemming. A Lulu lemming. This actually happened to me! For a few months, I would look in lust at their website every other day and drool over the items they had just released. I began to justify my purchases by telling myself I would work out more AND have lots of cute clothes to wear! WIN! My obsession has died down :P, but I am still a huge fan of the clothes. No other pants maintain their shape as well or make my bottom half look as cute. Oh and did I mention the great colors? One simply much match when they are working out right? I also like that they have free classes on Sundays. It's a great way for people to get introduced to yoga, pilates, and the occasional toning class. I've come here on occasion during my lunch break, and it has always been a pleasant experience. The only problem I run into coming at this time is finding parking, but that's not a mark against the store. I like venturing here during this time because the store is not packed, and I can shop at my leisure. Plus it is great that there is not a long line to wait in to check out. I am an R&D member which means I get a percentage of my purchase for being a CF coach. I really like the Two Times a Yogi bag, but every store in Houston was out of stock. When I have my mind set on something I want it, and I want it now. So I went ahead and purchased it online, and then called and spoke to Melinda at this location to see if there is any way I could bring in my receipt and get the price adjusted. First time to one of their stores and first time to try their workout gear. I really like their basics but when they start adding zippers and pull strings-I stray away. I purchased a black yoga capri and a racerback grey top. The materials are solid and very comfortable. They mentioned free hemming on their pants in the store-that's pretty neat for yoga pants, which need to be the right length. The price tag is hefty but most decent workout gear is.
