We bought a poblano pepper plant, rosemary, oregano, chive, cacti & succulent soil, a pot for my aloe plant, and organic fertilizer. Everything was very reasonably priced and they were having a 50% sale on their plants! I wanted to plant some eggplants, but I saw on their Facebook page that they sold out. They also sold out of their cucumber abd zucchini plants. I will defiantly be visiting them next year!

I signed up for a tarot card reading, but alas it was VERY popular. It was a 3-card reading for $25. Readings took about 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, by the time that I wanted to leave (before it got dark), he was still on the first page. So I crossed out my name. There were some very fun tables, with jewelry, perfume, and crafts, also a bookstore and a tee shirt stand. The "metaphysical" bookstore was adorable, with a fun "Blind Date with a Book" selection. There were some oracle cards and a couple of decks of tarot cards. As someone who has been to many metaphysical bookstores, and owns a decent collection of books, I wouldn't say that this store qualifies. But it's fun, and the proprietor was wearing a witch hat. I think that it was appropriate for the venue. Not for serious searchers. I browsed all the booths. There was the usual selection of stone bead bracelets. These used to be $5-7, but are now $28. H'mmm. There were craft booths, and a chain bracelet/ankle bracelet/necklace that were finished as you sat. The chains (sterling, gold, or other) were very, very, very thin and quite expensive. The people running the booths were generally very friendly. There were a couple of exceptions. The perfume lady did not have prices posted, and ignored the woman next to me, who asked for the price three times before she and her daughter left without buying anything. They had picked out two fragrances each. The perfumes were beautifully packaged, but the two that I tried on sample paper seemed to lack the notes referenced on the cards. The tee shirt guy didn't greet anyone who walked in. This was my first "fall festival" experience. While the venue is beautiful, and the vendors varied, I found the available merchandise to be extremely overpriced IMO. Granted, tariffs, inflation, etc, but prices were very high for what was offered. There were also gorgeous candles and soaps. Beautiful, and would be very nice for gifts, but IMO quite expensive for what they were. Very nicely packaged, which definitely contributed to the cost. Maybe it's just me. I had a reseller license in CO, and plan to get one in NY to sell my jewelry. So I know what stones, packaging, etc, cost wholesale. To be fair, though, that was pre-tariff. Anyway, it was a pleasant hour. I'm sorry that I wasn't hungry, because the food truck offerings were probably delicious.

If you were able to get the bulbs you could take those home too, which is a nice perk since they are perennials and will come back year after year. Plenty of parking. Tickets are cash or card. They have some goodies to also purchase on your way out. Petting farm for the kiddos (I mean I squealed when I saw the cute pigs too). Live music. Food trucks. The main nursery is open, as well. Lots of plants for sale when we went. And LI Farm Brewery is on premises!

We were there for a quite a while trying to decide and not one person approached us to offer assistance. Nor did they when we chose our two different Azalea varieties. I notice some folks saying the prices were good. I thought they were on the high side but willing to pay for a fine specimen. One shrub was a good size at almost $200 and the second hovering around $100. I don't like that they do not even offer a guarantee on their stock which makes me think they do not grow their own and the stock is brought in. Sadly, neither one made it and while not completely dead they are pitiful with a total of three flowers per shrub. We won't be returning. There are plenty of nurseries around to choose from on Long Island. I am very disappointed as I was looking forward to this Spring's blooms. Their annuals were also on the high side in price but selection was expansive. I was happy with those but not enough to offset the disappointment and money lost on the shrubs. As a side we are seasoned gardeners so we know what we are doing.

Went here to return some sadly wilted rhododendrons. The return process was simple and didn't take…read morelong. I went out to the lot to find replacement rhododendrons, but all they had with buds were red ones! I didn't want red. I wanted pink. They did have several different sizes, from smallish to quite large, but mostly red. They did have some Dandy Man plants in deep pink, already blooming, so I got those. They'll be on schedule next year. The garden center cashier was efficient. I found some pink geraniums in small pots on sale, and some lilies in 6-packs. Yay!! The gardens are almost finished, with mostly perennials.
