let me start by saying I had a very difficult time during this last big snowstorm we had in my area. most businesses had closed for the day and I really needed to order a funeral arrangement. I don't like using the online florist that you don't know who they are and you never know what you're going to get. I ended up placing my order through their website and pretty much left it up to the florist to create something nice for the funeral services and have them delivered next day. When I attended the service, I of course wanted to see the arrangement that was sent and I cannot stress enough how beautiful the arrangement was Much nicer than I Imagined, thank you for your care and great service. The bouquets of flowers in front of the store was what caught our attention. We grabbed a set for $18 which was incredibly reasonable given the variegated and fresh flowers. I would have given 5 stars if the worker had bothered to wrap the bouquet in one more layer of plastic as it was wet at the base since it was sitting in a pot of water. We wanted a Berkeley, California feeling to our flowers: lush, wildflowers with herbs. She was attentive, enthusiastic, and gay-friendly, all qualities we wanted in a florist! When we met with Becky for a consultation, she served us tea and cookies, and asked about our preferences. Then, she used her own creativity, good judgment, and enthusiasm to help us create a glorious display of flowers. Because it was important to us to have scented Geraniums, Eucalyptus, and sweet pea flowers, Becky worked hard to find them. We wanted pinks and purples with great texture; Becky used her knowledge and love of flowers to help us create gorgeous bouquets, center pieces, and corsages. She kept in contact with us as the date approached, and was generous with her time and her flowers. Everything arrived on time (care of Becky), and my bouquet even had little drops of water on the roses! The price was well worth it, and reasonable for what we had! We had the most gorgeous display of flowers outside of a greenhouse or English garden! I had a holiday occasion to attend which was being hosted by a man who is very hard to buy for, but did not want to show up empty-handed. So, centerpiece it was! I went into Rebecca's shop and was well taken care of. She was behind the counter and I explained to her my needs. She had some holiday baskets in the cooler which were quite attractive and she worked with me to accent them with additional fresh flowers. The result was a wonderful centerpiece at a fantastic price. I love the fact that she does not even have baby's breath in her shop. Handled my daughter's wedding at Quonquont Farm this past May. We had asked for blue and purple flowers. The flowers came with no blue flowers. She was dismissive to the bride and left when it was brought up. I called and she had an attitude and I needed to demand that she come back and fix at least the bouquet. I would not recommend this florist and if you do use, make sure you know exactly what you are getting ahead of time. This florist was the only glitch in the whole wedding. read more

Rebecca is amazing and she has beautiful taste in flower arrangements. My husband and I were married on 8/17/13 in Deerfield and we went to see her 5 weeks prior - I thought I knew exactly what I wanted and we sat down with her in her office and went through several different ideas and colors. We came up with something I was happy with, a large centerpiece for each table and smaller bubble vases for the cocktail hour tables. She knew the exact color I was looking for from my description of "dusty rose". A couple weeks later, I was looking through wedding magazines and there were these very quaint floral designs in different sized vases, and I realized they would look so beautiful with our wedding setting - I called Rebecca and described my new "vision" and she was extremely accommodating. I let her do the rest of the work - I sent her a photo of what I envisioned and she did an amazing job. She has an eye for designing and creating what her clients envision. I absolutely loved the flowers - I put my trust in her, and she exceeded ALL my expectations. I would recommend her to all my closest friends and family. AMAZING!!! On a side note, I first went to see another florist not too far away, who couldn't even identify the type of flower I wanted from the photo I showed her. Was desperate to get a pretty bouquet for a friend I was meeting for her birthday lunch in Northampton. Called ahead and basically walked in, picked out a bunch of pretty flowers (peonies, daisies, some greens), and they wrapped it all up in a gorgeous arrangement complete with a note card and bow tie. I was saved. The prices are kind of high- about $3-$5 per flower, but compared to some of the rubbish I was seeing at the Stop and Shop and Big Y I had stopped at prior, the end product looked way better and was worth the slightly higher cost. I think they mostly do special events like weddings, as I saw the owner was finishing up some beautiful arrangements, but I was so happy they accommodated my individual order request on such short notice. read more

I highly recommend Forget Me Not Florist. Rebecca provided incredible flowers for our wedding this past July at the Red Barn in Amherst. We met in person, spoke on the phone, and emailed in the months leading up to it as part of the planning. Rebecca was awesome at communicating and brainstorming ideas for our arrangements. I came into this without a broad fluency in various flower types, so on the phone, I'd have my laptop out and Rebecca led me to googling different types so I'd really be able to envision what the arrangements would look like. She was patient and a great listener when I shared my own inspirations throughout the process. Additionally, Rebecca was thoughtful and genuinely excited about our event and creating the arrangements for it. She clearly likes her craft. I had an idea of what I was looking for in our bouquets, but I was incredibly impressed when I saw them on our wedding day. Rebecca also made beautiful flower girl wands, a very cool project. She also created hanging glass vases with a single rose in each one to hang from the tree under which we got married. This was something many of our guests commented on and that struck me and my husband as subtly, quietly beautiful as we stood surrounded by them at our ceremony. I'm a huge fan of Rebecca, and FMNF. I am very detailed and picky when it comes to flowers, and she was extremely patient with me two years ago when it came to designing the perfect arrangement to express my sentiments. I ordered several things, some from more obscure locations, and she arranged beautiful, quality products for each one. If I had concerns about anything (which were not her fault), she followed up and offered alternatives. She is very patient and personable. Her prices are great too. Two years later after I graduate, its Valentine's day again and I'm no longer living in NoHo. I am working with another florist, in another state, and things go wrong with the order one day before V-day. I call Rebecca up, and not only does she remember me, but she arranges to get what I need sent from her supplier, to my current florist, so that everything can get back on track on time. Outstanding service. Over and beyond what I'd ever hope for from a shop. I've submitted some photos of some of the great gifts/designs that she helped me do. I had heard this was a good florist so when friends had a baby, I called them to order flowers which proved to be a great choice. Rebecca herself answered the phone and said she would take the flowers over to the hospital at the end of the day, and promised she wouldn't leave them if my friend had already been discharged. I have no problem with the quality of the flowers or the friendly and accommodating service at their Northampton store, but I take issue with the prices for flower arrangements on their website, which I believe are deceptive. The advertised price does not include the delivery charge and a "service fee" (or the tax), all of which make the price you actually pay considerably more than what you might expect. I think they should clearly show the base price (for the flowers alone) plus the "as delivered" price below the pictures of the various bouquets in their online store. As it is, their online presence comes across as misleading and slightly sleazy. read more
