However, while flipping through the books provided we saw the perfect arrangement to which Christine stated we could customize and stated it would differ a bit due to the season but she did show us the possible options. Once the arrangement was finalized and plants purchased she told us when they would be delivered and set up. The arrangement exceeded our expectation, it was truly beautiful and perfectly complimented the memorial. Several other beautiful arrangements were at the memorial we later found was also created by Sharron's Flower House. I am more than happy to say they were easy to work with, friendly, knowledgeable and they were reasonably priced. I will use them for any future floral business needs I may have.

When we rescheduled both times Shirley agreed in writing to the new dates. On January 7, 2020 I paid her the remaining balance on our event via PayPal. On March 23rd I reached out to confirm her arrival time for our wedding. At this point Shirley acted as if she had completely forgotten about our event and in a round about way said she could not provide the florals we had contracted her services to provide. The Flower Truck broke our contract. Simply put. At this point, I was floored. I was 40 days from my wedding and my florist is saying "can't do it." And at no point did she take any responsibility for the situation. When I made it clear I wanted a refund bc now I had to find a new florist I got the run around and was told she was keeping my deposit. I'm sorry, but that's not how contracts work. She offered to "split it" with me. And took it upon herself to short me $91.58 when I finally received the check. She also took it upon herself to write "full refund" on the memo of the temporary check that she mailed post dated along with a card where she blamed Covid and my bridesmaid for her failing to plan for the event I paid her to provide floral services for. Shirley is beyond unprofessional, unorganized, takes zero accountability, and is a liar. Do not use her to provide floral services for any event. And do not pay her in advance because you will not get your money back.

Then when the delivery driver arrived at her home, he couldn't get anyone to the door. This is the part where most drivers would just drop it off and leave, but the owner of the florist called and asked me how I wanted them to handle the delivery. I greatly appreciated her doing that, because my friend had actually ran out to the store, and if the driver had just dropped off the flowers and left, the recipient likely wouldn't have seen them until much later in the day, and the sun would have taken its toll on them. I expected to pay around $100 I chose a very colorful basket with 4 live plants. I ordered online and specifically requested to contact me before the order is filled which was to be delivered in 3 days. Also specified NO SUBSTITUTIONS! I was called after the order was placed saying they did not see my note. Then in the thank you to me my daughter sent a photo of the basked of plants and flowers. It was no where close to what I had ordered! What they sent were very cheap $2 and $4 plants. The entire basket with the basket probably was a total of $20. I was billed $89. I know they deserve a mark up but I deserve to have my request honored. I certainly will think twice before I order online at a local florist without speaking with them.
