I ordered a gorgeous round funeral wreath and wanted to be sure that they had the exact flowers that were in the picture. I shared a nightmare story from another florist in south Georgia and he assured me this would not happen again. I used Jean and Hall Florists to send flowers to my mother in Macon, GA for Valentine's Day this year. In the past I had been using an online floral company but I chose not to this time because I didn't like how they would send the flowers in boxes. On Tuesday 2/11/2020, I called Jean and Hall to order a small flower arrangement for Mom. I'd viewed their website and noticed something called the "Deal of the Day" that I was interested in but they said they no longer do the "Deal of the Day." I guess someone forgot to change it on their website because I still see it up there. But even without that deal, their prices are better than most of their online competition. I chose an assorted, small flower arrangement that even with the delivery fee still costs me only $42.45. They let me dictate a little message to be put on the card that comes with the flowers. I wanted everything to be delivered on Valentine's Day but unfortunately their delivery service was booked full for that day. Since they were also booked solid for February 13, I asked them to deliver Mom's flowers on Wednesday 2/12/2020. The message on the card read: "Happy early Valentine's Day! I love you. Your Son, Charles." Mom received her flowers on the date arranged and she loves them. They're a variety of colors and were delivered to her in a vase. She said she put them in a location where visitors can see them time they enter the house. I haven't seen them yet but if she's pleased with them then so am I. It turns out that her receiving them on February 12 made it even more of a surprise. I'm sure that I'll be using Jean and Hall again in the future, but this time I won't be waiting until the last minute to place my order. I highly recommend them due to their prices, the cordial customer service I received, and the quality of their product. read more

I had such great help planning my mom's 80th birthday celebration. The florist (Ms. Bernie) made such great suggestions that I changed a few things with my layout. It worked beautifully. The arrangement for Momma's table was perfect. All of the arrangements were beautiful and made the room smell wonderful. There were too many compliments to count. Momma wanted to bring all of the arrangements home! We shared them with some of the ladies who attended. The party was Saturday, and we are still hearing how beautiful the flowers still are and how wonderful they smell. The service was top notch. I miscalculated the number of arrangements after I changed the seating. The florist (Ms Joyce(?) went back to the shop and made another arrangement and promptly delivered it. I am still waiting for pics from the photographer, but I could not wait to do this review. I am happy that I contacted the shop directly. I learned of it through Teleflora, but the personal service was so helpful to me and made the night so special. read more

The wreath on the website was gorgeous but the wreath delivered was completely different and cheap. The ribbon has to come from the dollar tree. The entire wreath just looked cheap. I requested a Christmas arrangement to be sent to my aunt at Carlyle on Dec. 21. On the 14th, I received a call from my aunt thanking me for the lovely arrangement. I was surprised and thought she meant it was from someone else since she's 96. But she described it, read the card and she was correct- it was from me. So the next morning I called Jean and Hall and asked them to check my order. She said she was terribly sorry, but she only saw the Monday and not the exact date. She then asked if I wanted them to return to Carlyle and pick the arrangement up and re-deliver it on the correct date? I told her she'd have a lot of explaining to do to my aunt and they would have to pry it from my aunt's hands. I wanted to send my best friend who lives in Macon "good luck on your exam" flowers. Jean and Hall were one of the few florists based in Macon with decent reviews and good prices so, I decided to go with them. I ordered the Pretty Please arrangement yesterday to have them delivered today. I just heard back from my friend saying that they are beautiful flowers!!! Also (which is yelp 5 star review worthy), the delivery man contacted my friend earlier in the day stating there would be a delivery to her door soon and hoping that someone would be home to receive it. My friend was super busy studying on campus so she wouldn't be home. The delivery man placed the floral arrangement in a mildly sunny spot on a table in the porch. My friend was very happy and pleasantly surprised that the delivery man took the time to choose a spot on her porch that wasn't blasted with sun so the flowers would be in great condition upon her arrival. Macon is so lucky to have this florist to work with. They are very helpful and responsive. Because I don't live there anymore, I work with them online mostly. Always a good experience. last year for Mothers Day I ordered the flowers on time, but then realized I'd misspelled someone in the card. I shot them a quick note, and got an answer back shortly telling me not to worry, they already caught the mistake and fixed it. This year I was not as organized and ordered the flowers late. He order form would only let me select the Monday after Mothers Day for delivery - this is what happens when you order flowers Friday afternoon. I included a short not asking if there was anyway possible for them to deliver them on Saturday, I'd really be grateful. Steve responded a bit later and said they looked at the schedule and it looked like hey would be able to make the delivery - he was not 100% sure but they'd try.
