Located on Route 15 in Johnson, the Forget Me Not Shop is well established clothing store for the bargain hunter. It has women's and men's clothing, military surplus, assessories, and jewelry. Tons of inventory makes the digging fun. I love coming here because I never know what I am going to find and I tend to get a lot here because everything is so cheap. This place has been here as long as I can remember (at least early 90s). It's great! Lots of designer names at discounted prices. The place for rhinestone earrings or a crown ($7!!), and other bling. Great for cozy socks, sunglasses, and pashmina scarves. A 'Men's' section was added a few years ago. Both feature warm weather wear and accessories. They still carry some home decor but less then they used to and most of it mass produced in China. People travel from all over Canada to shop at this hidden gem. Not far from Smuggler's Notch ski area. Stop by 158 Main St. for lunch or dinner. read more

This is essentially a local TJ Maxx! All new clothes from brand names at lower, more reasonable prices. There is a good selection of men and women's clothing, maternity clothes, bathing suits, sunglasses, jewelry, etc. The selection varies and you have to dig through all the racks, but I always manage to find something when I make my yearly visit while here on vacation. This year I saw clothes from Anthropologie, Charter Club, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Black and White House, Talbots, and Lane Bryant, just to name a few. read more

Wow! My friend brought us along shopping and what amazing bargains. I found an amazing swimsuit for a small fraction of the price it would have been in a department store. I saw Lane Bryant, Talbots, all sorts of name brands...I might remember more but my four year old is singing...loudly. Everyone was friendly. I saw quite a few items I would have loved to get for gifts but alas I had to pass them up on this trip. Stopped here for the first time today. The store is organized by type of clothing and size. Everything appears to be new but most of the labels have been removed or scratched out. There are clothes here from Kohls, some Gap, Talbots and a lot of unfamiliar brands. It basically is a final resting spot for clothes that couldn't survive at their first couple of destinations. The prices are very good and you may just find something. They also had some random accessories and gift items. Like a second hand store but with new items. Stop in if you are near by. read more

One note to the owner...you definitely have FAT mirrors in the dressing rooms. Even the staff knows it. I can't imagine the sales you're losing because of that!!! I have been shopping at this shop for many years. As a kid, this is where I got my school clothes and jewelery. And now that I am a mother I shop here with my son and husband. You can find so many things here. I bought my maternity clothes from here, my husband buys his work clothes from here, and we always come to buy gifts for people. I love this shop! I do find it to be a hit or miss, some days I can find a whole bunch of things and other days I walk out with nothing. However the prices are great for the brands they have. Most things have minor cosmetic damage, (loose string, or stitching may not be perfect) but I have not had anything rip or "break" from here. I love their summer selection as well! read more
