The sales associate was very friendly, so I asked her what she'd recommend for a 1 year old girl and something "Spiderman" for my 4 year old grandson. She immediately presented me with a cloth doll, and a little boat with Spiderman in it that when wound up in water (like in a bathtub), it would zoom across the water. I took them both !! My granddaughter was interested for a few minutes and moved on to something else because she's only 1. I'm quite certain the little doll will have greater appeal to her as she gets older. My grandson was soooooooo taken with his Spiderman boat that he broke it before getting to test it out in the actual water. He's 4, and listening to directions is not part of his skill set yet, lol. Downtown Burlington is a very small city and church street marketplace feels like a mall I find in middle America. We came on 11/30/19 and there was a nice big tree. This marketplace is about 3 blocks long and is a small strip of small local stores/ shops/restaurants/ and art galleries. The family and I spent about 1.5-2 hours exploring, shopping, and perusing local goods. If your in the area this place is definitely worth checking out.

The only part that looked big was the garden area which we didn't really go through. It's also connected to a mini-mall which was different too. Vermont Flannel sell shirts, pajamas, robes, blankets, hoodies and a number of smaller items like tea cozies and socks. They cut their scraps into 4" squares and package them into a kit that you can use to make a patchwork quilt. When we were there, there were two young women running the store. One was very experienced and the other appeared to be learning. The one learning was sewing samples of new products while we were there. The service was excellent and we ended up buying a robe for my wife and pajamas for our daughter. They have stores around Vermont.

My oldest daughter Amanda loves jewelry, Michael Kor jewelry. I cant pass up the great deals they have to offer.
