However, the basement was not finished, but had rough-in plumbing installed. We were looking for someone to finish the basement (4 rooms total), including adding an additional bedroom with closet and full bathroom. This included all electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall, door installation, flooring, trim, and painting. Mike was quick to respond to my original inquiry, come check out the space, and provide a quote. He was timely, friendly, and easy to collaborate with. We changed our mind a few times on final design - we appreciate how patient he was with us while we narrowed in on the final plan. The final quote was very detailed and he provided helpful information on the areas for potential cost increase (given that the home is old and there could have been unexpected things identified after work begun). This helped us set our expectations for the project. During the project, he kept us up to date on progress or concerns and kept the area very clean (ensuring very little debris made its way outside the basement into our home). He managed all of the subcontractors (electric, plumbing, carpet, etc) so we didn't need to worry about a thing. Made it super easy by having one point of contact! His work speaks for itself. There were a lot of difficult aspects of the basement to figure out (i.e. uneven walls and ceilings, tricky vents or pipes along the ceiling, water/electrical shutoffs needing to be accessible, etc), but he managed to turn the space into exactly what we were looking for. The attention to detail makes all the difference! In the end, the project took about two months (including carpet installation) and final cost was in line with the estimate. I'd recommend Reid's Home Repair to anyone!

Soup to nuts, top to bottom, everything was done skillfully, efficiently, and value-priced to boot. Top marks! Prior to Rapid-Reno, we had four other "supposed" professionals visit our home, listen to what we wanted to do, and either: 1) told us it was not possible, or 2) failed to give us an estimate. (Guess they were too busy doing "easier" jobs.) When Mark & Avery were contacted, they brought to our home an "anything is possible" attitude, and used a safe, creative approach to make our dreams come true. [Small example--they inserted a tiny TV camera through a pinhole to validate that a beam was, in fact, non-load bearing; no one else had thought of that.] Also, since Mark took pictures of our curio cabinet prior to emptying it, he was able to "restore" all our furniture to its identical position after the flooring was installed. I cannot say enough good things about this firm--I stake my name & reputation on their work. If you are disappointed with Rapid-Reno, I recommend some deep soul-searching and a look in the mirror--only kidding a little. ;-)

The grout matched perfectly and the sealant has lasted into 2025 with no issues. They also completed the project in a week. In 2024, we hired them back to fix all the issues we had with our master bathroom remodel that was done at the same time by another company. This other well-known Indianapolis company had to rip out our tile twice as they couldn't line it up, put the wrong tile in, and couldn't lay it straight. Brewer came back to reattach the corner seat that had fallen off, re-leveled the threshold as the glass door was hard to close, and redid the grout on the shower floor and all the sealant in the shower as the sealant had completely come off. They actually found lighting (wall sconces, overhead fixtures, and table lamps) that I actually love, not just tolerate.
