Two years ago I made a commitment to myself to improve my health, and Club Pilates is one of the steps I took to accomplish this goal. I started with a basic membership of 4 classes per month. With my busy work schedule, I appreciate the flexibility of having some evening and weekend classes available. My favorite classes are Reformer Flow 1 and Center+Balance. For a beginner, they offer the perfect amount of challenge coupled with relaxation and rejuvenation. In comparison to other studios that may only offer mat work, Club Pilates has all of the actual equipment that provides a complete full-body workout. Being new to Pilates, I was amazed to find nearly every muscle group benefitting from the classes. Finally, it's not just the classes and equipment, but most importantly the instructors. I found the studio online and of all the studios I looked at, it had the most variety of classes at times that worked for us (after regular working hours and on weekends). We signed up for the initial $20 unlimited 2 weeks pass and crammed in as many classes as we could over that time. Every class we took and every instructor we worked with was fantastic. I did 2 of the video classes as well. Everyone was kind and welcoming. And we loved that every single class and instructor reinforced that everyone's yoga practice is individual and we should feel free to modify as needed and ask for help when needed. We have since purchased multiple of the 30 class packs but I think we'll switch to the monthly rate as soon as we've used all of our classes. We look forward to the 2-3 classes a week we attend; they've become so much a part of our weekly routine that everything feels "off" if we miss one! The fact that Lift has now added a John's Creek location is even better for us, since we split time between my home in Alpharetta and my partner's house in John's Creek - so wherever we are, we can find a class time and location that works. Final note: I can only assume the handful of people giving 1-star reviews and complaining about the studio being "activist" and "political" are anti-maker folks who bristled at being asked to wear a mask and social distance inside the studio. We gladly wore our masks for the first several months we attended and continue to distance while inside the studio when requested. Yoga is not a-political. The very essence of yoga requires truth, justice, peace, and learning - and yes, activism. Anyone who doesn't understand that doesn't understand yoga.

The owner Kathy Hopper is the ultimate professional. Kathy makes it a point to remember everyone's name and if applicable physical limitations and injuries. All of the instructors are welcoming and friendly. Lagree can be tough but it's so rewarding. It's a full body workout and very efficient. You get an excellent mix or resistance training and cardio. The instructors are happy to offer substitutions for exercises, and give excellent cues. I highly recommend Sculpted Body. I love how empowering the women are here. I never felt out of place or uncomfortable. I'm not in the best shape, but I never felt judged or anything like that. The trainers make a point to welcome you to every class and always stay behind to answer any questions or just to chitchat. I go roughly twice a week and love seeing familiar faces. I use ClassPass so booking a class is always super easy. The environment is clean. They offer water bottles if you forget to bring your own. This studio is very clean, it has shower and they provide hair bands, toiletries and towels. Owner sometimes bring some healthy treats to the studio and share with students. Everyone's friendly and welcoming, instructors try to remember students name and talk to each person as they come into the classes. Barre3 focus more on cardio and balance, the class will make you sweat and stronger the more you go. I was surprised how it changed my body shape and toned my muscles in 30 days, with 5 classes a week. Sumo squats transform my big flat butt to a firmer and rounder smaller butt. :D If you never try barre before, try out Barre3 and see how it can change your body in 30 days.

The young lady at the check in desk was very sweet. They have lockers positioned in the front, which is convenient for you to put your things in there. They sell water and energy drinks if needed. The studio is very clean and very well kept as well. Amanda was my instructor and what a joy she was. I was very nervous as it was my first time taking a Pilates class. Not to mention , I signed up (unbeknownst to me at the time) one of the harder classes. I thought to myself, yikes! Maybe I should come back to a beginner's level class. But Amanda was so encouraging, and informed me I could modify some movements, and she mentioned that she would position me near some folks who are pretty seasoned and would be able to help if I needed some guidance. I didn't know exactly what I was expecting, but that class kicked every ounce of my butt, but in the same breath, I will also say it's probably the best workout I have ever done. I worked parts of my body that I didn't even know existed lol! There were so many moments throughout the class that I thought to myself... Can I make it through? But Amanda was right there cheering me on and motivating me every moment of the way. This definitely exceeded my expectations for a first time Pilates experience. As difficult as the workout was for me... I made it through :) and since I was so proud that I did, I booked myself another class next week. I have to give another kudos to Amanda, I think having the right instructor when it comes to any workout class, plays a big part on your ability to push yourself through.

I give myself a B- for showing up & returning with no shame in taking breaks during class to recalibrate my lower back/core, hence why I'm here. Agreed that the membership prices are a little steep. However, the 2 Week Unlimited offer is the right opportunity to learn a new fitness regime & boost your overall health before making any commitments. They offer quite a variety of classes and have the most up-to-date, nicest equipment including full cadillac reformers. Sign up for a jump board (cardio Pilates), Pilates aligned, Core-Align, Pilates chair, or a mat class. Highly recommend all of them! The instructors here are so knowledgeable and really help push you to your fullest potential. They also offer private sessions if you are new to Pilates or looking to have a solo session so you and your body are the main focus. Equipment always feels super clean and well taken care of, and I always walk out feeling lighter and super stretched out. Check them out asap!
