I rarely (if ever) write a review...and I'm actually doing it out of being so very impressed with this business. From the start of our purchase experience, when we were at the showroom for HOURS with a 6 and 8 year old. Becky treated the kids like little purchasers instead of burdens. She gave them a snack and drinks and often even engaged them in on the purchasing decisions (so cute). We went back and forth on what to buy...weeks later we were still downloading spec sheets from websites and trying to lay out the couch in our odd space. As it turned out a month later we landed on a design...which matched exactly what Becky had recommended (we should have trusted her from the start!!). They kept us up to speed on the timing of the order (actually not too delayed due to COVID) and then the delivery came. The two gentlemen who delivered the unit obviously knew what they were doing and treated my couch with utmost care (it's expensive, to me, and they treated it as such). They put felt pads on each foot and balanced the entire unit. I would 100% use Forma again and would highly recommend leveraging their experience in design if you're uncertain (as we were). To preface this review, Forma does have a nice selection of Scandinavian made furniture and the sales people are fairly informed and nice. Now for my horror story..... I bought three chairs as the manufacturer was running sales. We received one chair that day and we were told the others would take a little while. 3-5 weeks was possible, but very rare. The day after we placed the order I got a call to confirm the chair colors. I asked the salesperson if I could change the base on one of the chairs, "no problem, I haven't even entered the order yet" she said. Then weeks went by with no phone call or communication. When I would call, no one could ever find my order. Because my business (I'm the owner) had ordered the chairs, they had put the business name as a first name and my first name as a last name. No big deal but I pointed this out THREE times and they never corrected it. I was also told it was impossible to find an order by phone number, yet ALL three times I spoke with staff I eventually had to coerce them to use the phone number to eventually find my order (often to a large amount of pushback). Their CRM system and the training the staff goes under is seriously lacking. No one seems to know anything. They couldn't tell me where my stuff was, if it had been shipped or when they would get it. As a business owner shipping product s around the globe, I found this concept both incredible and pathetic. After my third phone call in a couple weeks, I was told by the owner he would track down my order and call me that week. No call that week so I called again Saturday. He then told me he would call me Monday with info. NO CALL MONDAY. I called Monday after hours and left two messages (with the sales staff and owner). No call Tuesday thru Thursday, so I called Friday angry. They offered no apology or explanation on not returning the promised call but my order had magically appeared. When my girlfriend arrived to pick up the two chairs that were part of our three chair order (total of 5k with taxes) they had the nerve to tell my girlfriend none of the men standing around could help load the chairs so she had to do it with another very small (90lb) elderly sales-lady. This was a horrible experience. I would advise everyone to stay as far away as possible. I don't feel that they tried to rip us off, but I feel that the general incompetence of this business is borderline ridiculous. read more

Forma is an amazing store and the people are just as fabulous. To be clear- this isn't American furniture warehouse- the items are indeed pricey. That being said, the quality is top of the line and you really can't find anything better here in town. If you are looking for durable, extremely comfortable stylish and quality pieces- go here. If you want stuff that looks good for half the price, there are other places to buy but don't expect your furniture to last more than a couple years and don't expect the same level of comfort. There is a lot that goes into quality furniture making abs if you're in the market for new furniture, this is a great place to learn about what makes a price durable and comfortable. Forms furniture has the worst customer service I've ever experienced from a retail store. My father in law passed away unexpectedly half way through buying a couch from here. When we went in to tell them he will no longer be needing the couch because he is literally dead, they said there was nothing they could do for us. Not a single thing. We couldn't even pay shipping and restocking fees and return it. We are stuck with an $8000 couch for a dead guy. read more

I have been having low back troubles for years with little relief. I strolled into Forma Furniture seeking to try this STRESSLESS recliner I was drawn to mostly for its beautiful design. The sales staff was open, friendly and not the least bit pushy each and every time l went in, I went in 3x before I made my purchase. Each person I spoke with made certain my needs and comfort came first and foremost. My wife and I recently purchased some nicely made Italian sofa's from Forma at an excellent price ($1400 each)--very sophisticated and understated modern design--which is very hard to find in Colorado given the more traditional and 'clunky' designs we've seen at many other stores. I have been a big fan of European contemporary furniture for years--having purchased a number of very high quality items from several different stores around the country--inspired too by our travels on the continent. Forma provided my wife and I a very pleasant shopping experience, in line with what I have come to expect given my previous experiences working with similar stores. I tend to buy what I see first hand and can touch--and dislike ordering anything sight unseen unless it's particularly special. If you are like me, and are having difficulty finding something unique that can be taken home that day, Forma might be a good place to go check out. My only observation is that some of their offerings gives a person like me a feeling that they are trying to satisfy too many people with competing tastes and budgets that don't align with what they clearly do very well--which is to appeal to a smart, 'design discriminating' customer that understands good quality when they see it. I'd really like to see them focus upon the excellent European contemporary items they offer and eliminate the lower quality and 'generic brand' distractions. If they did, I'd give them 5 stars! read more
