For my daughter's senior prom, we did so much research on where to purchase her dress. We finally decided to order online through Formal Approach. We compared size charts from the dress she wore last year and ordered! It took a bit longer than we expected but that was ok. The dress was beautiful. We took it out of the garment bag for her to try on. The dress appeared to be a little big. We bagged it up and made an appointment with our local seamstress for the next day. Our appointment our seamstress confirmed that the dress was too big and the alterations that would have been needed were too extensive for the cost of the dress. I contacted Leah right away and told her that we would be returning the dress. After playing a lot of phone tag I finally got the return shipment label unsent the dress. I get a reply from Leah two days later that she has received the dress, but unfortunately cannot refund our money because there was presents of pet hair on the dress. This dress was literally out of the garment bag twice once when she tried it on and once when she tried it on at the seamstress. I am the purchase with PayPal. read more

I have been blessed to rent my tux from Mike and his wonderful family of employees for the last seven years when I get to chaperone my high schools prom. This year was no different. I had to get my pants adjusted and without missing a beat, I was taken care of and my issue resolved. Although I didn't get the chance to see my favorite employee Ryan, I look forward to many more years of friendship and fabulous customer service. I came here looking for a formal reception gown and drove over an hour because I had not found anything in my area. I pulled into the parking lot right as they opened. Rebecca (the store manager) opened the door and was waving at us with a huge smile on her face. We felt SO welcomed. We had been to several other formal dress stores and were treated quite rudely at other stores. I instantly was so glad I came here. Rebecca was amazing and stated that she wanted us to be treated like family while we were there. I had picked out several dresses but Rebecca had one in mind she wanted me to try on. I tried on the dress that she selected for me first, and I instantly fell in love and knew it was my dress. If it wasn't for her, I might not have found it. There are sooo much dresses in that store. If you want a good customer experience DO NOT go here! Absolutely the worst customer experience that I have ever had. My daughter and I walked in at 5:30 on Friday, my daughter registered and began looking at dresses. The dresses were arranged by color not sizes, so we had to dig through the racks to find her size, a young lady said "I can help you find some", my daughter told her what size and style that she was looking for, and nothing. She NEVER recommended a dress or even attempted to look for one. At 5:40 we were approached by the same young lady and she said "you might want to try on what you have, so that you can try them on before we close." WOW.. She went to the dressing room to try on the 3 dresses that she had found, while I tried to look through the racks, if you have a teenage daughter, you know that what you like isn't what they like. When she came out of the dressing room with the 2nd dress there wasn't anyone to help zip/button, so I stepped on. During this, there was another mother and her friend helping her daughter, who said "I tried to hurry here after work and they could care less and are pushing us out the door." I agreed with what she said. After my daughter tries the third dress on, I told her to come on that I would never buy anything even if she loved the dress, which she really did like the second one. There were at least 4-5 people working, instead of offering a good customer experience, making a customer for life, and referrals, they chose to clean floors and ignore us to make sure that we left.
