We only received a $5.00 refund and a $10.00 credit for a $19.00 product that didn't only ruin our night, it caused an injury. What was most disappointing was the response when I contacted the restaurant. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the injury, and no indication that they would even review whether the packaging met appropriate safety or legal guidelines for extremely hot broth. I was simply told to go through DoorDash, which felt dismissive given the circumstances. I understand accidents can happen, but situations involving injuries should be handled with care, accountability, and basic concern for customer safety. I hope this feedback encourages safer packaging practices and a more responsible (and empathetic) response when issues like this are reported.
