Their deserts were beyond what I had expected.... Flavorful and yet not too heavy or sweet. May be too light for local taste. Love their selection of traditional Chinese tea, but the technique of brewing according to the specific teas may need some adjustment.

I'm not a huge fan of boba but this place was very good. I got the creme brûlée. Brown sugar boba, toasted sugar top, foamed cream cheese and idk what else was in it but man flavor bomb for sure. Friendly staff and happy to answer any questions for first timers. Also got Oreo cheese cake and a sea salt pearl cake. They are good but they are a Japanese style cheese cake so dense like a pound cake. And the foamed topping tastes like sweet butter. Not bad but this is a more savory dessert than sweet. They have a good variety of drink options. Look forward to heading back.

It's tough to go wrong with boba tea. One of my beverages of choice and can't get better for me than my favorite..taro. The place is small but cozy. The menu has enough for you to enjoy different types of teas and toppings. The service was good and friendly. The flow of people is a good sign already to know that they're doing something good in there. Grab one while you walk around or after enjoy some food from the other places nearby Will be there again for sure Provecho!

Holy diabetes Batman! I stumbled on their soft opening from 1pm-8pm after dinner at Aguachiles next door. They were very busy and already ran out of desserts. I ordered their creme brulee dirty boba ($6.75) with extra crystal boba ($0.75). Their Dirty Boba is a fresh milk drink lined all around with brown sugar caramel, topped off with our house-made Cheese Milk Foam, and capped with a creme brûlée top. IT'S SO SWEET, that it's cloying and they didn't ask what level of sweetness I wanted, which is apparently their schtick, but didn't implement at all. I didn't like it, hubby said he liked it. The boba was perfectly chewy and soft, the crystal boba was standard since it comes premade. The ratio of boba to drink was good. Ambiance: I know it's a soft opening but no one greeted us and they left the drinks on the bar without calling out the name. A little service would be nice. The layout is also really weird and uncomfortable. It's just long and narrow and you have to walk very close to the tables. I get it in high density Asian cities but we're in Texas, we have space to spread out and roam! Plus the chairs are little low stools that I worry I might break. Prices and sizes: they're pretty standard, with the new tall slim cups, and the extras are a bit more than Rare Tea and they didn't fill up the cup to the top like Rare Tea did. Bottom line, I still think Rare Tea's Caramelized Brown Sugar Boba Fresh Milk is still superior and locally owned Boba Mi Amor beats both with price, service, AND they make things fresh without powders.

Gorgeous atmosphere that's an awesome hidden study spot. Delicious Thai Milk Tea served fast & friendly, and I would definitely come back to try more! Abundance of comfortable indoor & outdoor seating and soft background music for relaxed vibes.

Such a cute shop with good boba and dessert. It looks super sweet but the matcha flavor is actually not that sweet. Its spongy inside the cake. They have a self service kiosk for ordering and food and drink prep is fast. The workers are nice and get things done quickly.

From the moment I stepped into The Glazy -- where the air itself seemed perfumed with promise and…read moresugar -- I knew this was no ordinary donut stop. This was sacred ground. A place where yeast and glaze converge to whisper the secrets of the universe. This isn't hyperbole; this is truth glazed in strawberry reduction. I ordered what would soon become the chocolate chip of mythic confectionary lore: the strawberry shortcake donut -- a creation so superlative I could feel its impact before the first bite even touched my lips. One taste and the world snapped into dazzling focus. The soft, fluffy pillow of dough was so perfect it felt like I had bitten into a cloud that had trained its whole life to be delicious. The sweet tang of strawberry shortcake kissed my senses, and I swear I saw the cosmos shimmer. That donut didn't just taste good. It reprogrammed my brain. Before Glazy, I was aimless, living a quiet and predictable life. After that donut: I sought therapy. Not because I was broken -- but because I needed help integrating the profound existential shift that occurred when I understood that donuts could taste like this. My therapist now calls me "a glazed scholar with purpose." And it didn't stop there. I changed careers. Yes, I traded spreadsheets for sociology textbooks because I had to understand humanity. Why was this donut so transformative? What about its structure, composition, and cultural meaning could explain how a simple sweet turned a person's life inside out? My colleagues call me "the Donut Theorist." My students ask if every lecture will include pastry metaphors. I say yes. Always yes. This isn't just a review. This is a testament to how one donut, one perfect strawberry shortcake experience at The Glazy revolutionized my cognitive framework and life trajectory. Would I return? With my new doctorate? Absolutely.

Having recently moved to El Paso from Montréal, a city teeming with quality pastry shops…read more(especially french pâtisseries), I was on the lookout for a competent pastry shop here in town as soon as I landed. My first discovery was Belle Sucre, which, while struggling ever so slightly with actual french pastries (and french grammar, "sucre," a masculine noun, being "beau," not "belle"), excels at putting a french twist on american desserts. My second discovery was Orange Peel, a pastry shop that could stand toe-to-toe with Montreal's more eclectic (and less traditional) pastry shops (e.g., Pâtisserie Rhubarbe), were it to spontaneously relocate there. Inside this diminutive (but oh so quaint) pastry shop stands a refrigerated glass display filled with triple-threat confections that a) are simultaneously playful and homey in appearance, b) demonstrate exquisite texture (a feat made all the more surprising by the fact that many of the confections are gluten-free), and c) feature creatively combined and expertly balanced flavours that bring into play natural aromas and just enough sweetness. (Indeed, in a rare show of restraint for an american dessert establishment, sweetness is here kept on a leash, letting instead aromas come to the forefront of the flavour experience.) Although pastries on offer change regularly, they always come across as completely thought-through and carefully put-together, as if the recipes had been worked on and perfected over years. Indeed, there is an effortless quality to how the one single chef behind Orange Peel comes up with and executes new recipes, one that testifies to the extent of her pastry passion, knowledge, and skills. To top it all off, she is extremely friendly and always a joy to talk to and discuss her work with. Fortement recommandé!
