Forrest Tire is awesome. We had a flat tire on our rental car (Traveler's tip: You don't want to get a flat tire in rural Texas between Pecos, TX and Artesia NM) from Enterprise. They weren't going to have a replacement for hours for Enterprise sent us to Forrest Tire. Forrest replaced the tire and checked the air in all four tires for us in an hour. Aside from the roads in TX being abysmal (potholes and under construction- yeah, worse than NJ and bordering 3rd world in some parts), our tires were over inflated. This likely contributed to the flat. Ugh, thanks Enterprise. (Another tip: check the tire pressure on your rental car if driving in rural areas). Forrest got the expense approved directly from Enterprise and we were on our way. No charge. There was someone on the lot who was even from NJ. I wish they had options to get a warranty on tire even if had to pay higher price for higher quality tires only because out here it seems like my car gets a lot of flat tires from all sorts of construction debris that accumulates out in the fields but I've had to go like three times just the past year and the tires they offered me weren't extremely expensive but would rather pay a sum up front more up front for a one time tire warranty replacement (under so many miles or thread wear and tear). But regardless of their business market model and charge I believe they are always as quick as can possibly be given how many customers they are serving at any given time. It's always packed in there which just speaks out to the demand of service. Went to get to see if they had a wheel prior if they could order one. The young man that helped me had a I dont care attitude. I waited over a hour finally asked him any news on a new wheel and he was socializing with a co worker then tried to sell me a used wheel that wouldn't even match or fit my work truck. Stopped because my tire sensor had been on for about 2 days- I had checked the passenger tires- because they looked low. Added some just to bring it to 35psi. But couldn't find anything wrong- looked several times at it and nothing. Stopped and they checked all the tires, removing the front passenger and found nothing. The psi was low on the rear driver side, so they took that off and checked it all over as well. Nothing. No charge, they did all that and no charge. I realize they didn't end up doing any repair, but that still took time and man hours- over an hour because it was busy as well. I called on a Friday morning for an appointment for an alignment that afternoon. When I arrived I was directed to bring my truck to the alignment bay where I met the technician who would do the work. The work was done in the time estimated, about an hour and the service technician and the counter staff were friendly and efficient. The waiting room is nice as well. I was originally trying to make an appointment with GMC locally, but they told me they sub all their alignment work to Forrest Tire. Excellent recommendation as the truck now steers straight. I feel your pain if you have to deal with this place. There's a problem when you're basically the only show in such a small town. They're busy, I get that but at least be honest with time estimates. I was told it'd be an hour to get tire fixed. They lied. Now I've got 3 patients waiting on me to get back to the clinic!
