IF I CAN RATE THIS PLACE A 0 STAR I WOULD. Every time I talked to them on the phone they always gave me attitude and said "we know nothing about your vehicle". Their service was bad and they are very rude knowing that my truck was broken down 7 hours away from me. They worked on it and said my truck was ready only to find out it was not properly repaired. I took it back so they can repair it again (my mistake!) and they were hard headed and didn't want to work with my insurance company. My husband took the 7 hour trip to pick up our non running truck. upon arrival they LOST my keys, and did not want to give me my truck back because the owners "were out of town" & proceeded to try to charge me for a storage fee even though there were the ones that declined service the second time. When my husband checked it out (he's a certified MECHANIC) he told me they never did what they put on the first estimate they sent to the insurance. They did a really bad job at "fixing" my vehicle. MONEY HUNGRY AND RUDE DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. read more

TERRRRRIBLE! NEVER GO HERE! hopefully with enough citizens standing up for themselves this business will go away. It was not bad enough that i paid 175 for a "diagnostic" to find nothing wrong. Now they are ripping off my elderly mother (Supposedly the owner goes to church?? Pfff-typical) but he billed my mother 500..to fix nothing ....claims worked on car for 10 hrs...had some highschooler working on the car...and just got the car home a BIGGER AND WORSE leak... supposedly charging for 10 hrs when by law the fix should cost 4 hrs...but they didnot even fix the part for the 4 hrs...we found "extra parts" just sitting on the engine....WOW pointed that out... we have a video of him removing sh to get that screw in... nothing was tightened my husband had to point that out...owner. NEVER GO THERE. THEY ARE TO RIP U OFF! THEY THREW OUR OLD PART AWAY -BY LAW WE CAN ASK FOR IT...DID NOT PRODUCE IT SEE U IN COURT! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! First off! the service manager dodnt greet us and looked upset to have business walking into their garage doors even though I had made an appointment! I took it in for a simple diagnostic test service, they had my vehicle for 9 hours the first time just to reschedule because "they were behind" Don't take any further appointments if you can't handle the work load, especially after I waited a week. When I went to pick it up looked like they had family in their shop working on their personal vehicles, STILL DODNT ACKNOWLEDGE us! Tried giving them another chance and of course still have it parked. I am picking up and taking my business somewhere else! DO NOT RECOMMEND! You will waste your time & money. read more

We limped into Carlsbad knowing that something was wrong in the rear ended of our son's Dodge Ram. It started making a loud, whirring sound. We called Fairway after reading several good reviews. We were treated very professionally and even provided with transportation whenever we needed it. We had to stay one night in Carlsbad and then we're back on the road the following day once repairs had been made. Truck was done correctly and has served us well ever since. I highly recommend Fairway Auto Clinic. I have a 2017 Subaru Forester with all the latest safety features that needed service and a new windshield. Juan did an excellent job on the service, and Dennis went above and beyond to replace my windshield, at HALF the cost that I was quoted from the El Paso Subaru dealership! I'm so pleased I chose Juan and his friends at Fairway Auto to bring my car to when it overheated. I was 400 miles form home, traveling alone, and since I know nothing about cars, I would have been an easy target to take advantage of! Instead, I had my car towed straight to the garage and Juan kept me updated about the work that would need to be done. By the next morning, they had replaced the radiator (for a reasonable price per my brother who is a mechanic). My Suburu made it back home without a problem, and is in perfect working order again (with 238,000 miles!). Juan even picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel so I wouldn't have to walk through Carlsbad. That's service! These men are honest and knowledgeable. Well took a 1998 gmc c3500 to fairway to replace transmission I bought from Frazier engines also brought my own parts. Quote$509. Good price right? Keep reading after replacing trans I called them because I haven't heard from them in two weeks. Well they changed my clutch pedal and slave cylinder without even asking me then replaced my throw out bearing with another new one because it wasn't bled. So the orders another one that come pre bled. Haha no such thing so I say just get it together plz and thank you. Well finally went to get it after 4 weeks and bill is $1800 and they say well it's a new tranny so it's hard to shift just pump the peddle a lot it will be fine. I'm pissed so I bring it to another mechanic where we are taking pics of the throw out my bearing they installed with the keeper missing that molds in the clutch line. And a brand new master cylinder full of debris and trash. Good thing I keep receipts for EVERYTHING. My new mechanic did everything they say they have done for $600 in 3 days and now it works without any issues. read more
