We're on our way to Troy corewell to welcome another grandchild into our brood, when the notion of daisies occurs to us. It is the flower of the month. We give this young man a dollar amount and a baby bear ceramic and in ten minutes he presents us with a masterpiece. The store was so nice. The different fragrances from all the flowers. The huge selection of gift items to choose from. He could've took longer and we wouldn't have complained. We were so pleased that we tried to give him another $20 for a tip and he refused it! "Go spoil your granddaughter with it !!!" Mrs. E. cried (it's been a stressful week). What I am going to do is purchase all of my floral needs at this location. Grabbed some flowers for mom or rather a plant for her bleated birthday…read more Jenny helped me out. She's attentive, friendly and helpful too. Picked out a nice plant that could grow and sprawl over time. They have a little greenhouse and it's filled with wonderful little live plants. The plants and flowers are reasonably priced. I have this awesome sprawling plant in the back greenhouse they've grown for five years. It's huge and gorgeous.

My one sister's order was correct the other received two arrangements in error. Upon contacting the florist we were told that yes indeed they made a mistake and would reimburse her for the one arrangement. When we received her credit card statement and saw that she did not get a credit for the mistake we called the florist and spoke to the owner Harold Jacobsen. Not only was he rude and condescending to my sister he acted as though he couldn't be bothered insinuating that my mother's age was a factor in the mistake. There was NO reasoning with him- he refused to check with his staff member who had previously assured us that they would take care of it We have been going to this florist for over 20 years and Harold Jacobsons response to that was " well we have been in business for over a 100" as though that was more important. Taking advantage of the elderly is not something the Jacobson name would be proud of I'm sure. There are so many florists in this area who put customer service above all. Please consider that before wasting your money on this one!

On the appointed day, I got a call from the dasher in their shop. They were no longer taking dd orders. I spoke with the shop keeper and she blamed doordash. I ordered from the florist's website, how could it be door dash's fault. They should have fixed their site and not blamed the delivery service. The order was cancelled with my money refunded. I had to figure out a way to tip the dasher whose tip was also refunded. This is no way to do business. I don't care how pretty their flowers are.

I remember it being a charming location with a lot of items besides flowers, including handknit dolls, scarves, candles, and other unique gifts. As of July 2022, the Grosse Pointe Park location is closed due to building repairs, but the Roseville location is open for walk-in and delivery orders. The website states that they are delivering to Grosse Pointe and surrounding areas daily. I placed my order online at https://flowersbygabrielle.com. The main page of the website will show you what is available and what is currently sold out. Although the items available are limited, I find Gabrielle's floral arrangements to be more sophisticated and elegant than a lot of other larger floral shops in the area. I chose the "Children's Valentine Arrangement" for delivery to a colleague in Detroit who recently had a baby. You can choose from a unicorn or giraffe planter that comes with "a beautiful whimsical arrangement filled with fresh colorful blooms" as described on Gabrielle's website. The arrangement was delivered on time and my colleague loved it. I will use Flowers by Gabrielle again for flower deliveries.

Gabby and her team can put together beautiful small to extravagant vased or loose arrays. Let them know your general color palette. I got a beautiful fall bouquet for $25 for my mother to put into one of her 100s of vases at home for their thanksgiving for 2 tomorrow. Lots of wonderful gift items inside too. Smaller front area, work area is the bulk of the space. You can watch and see them all at work putting out some amazing bouquets.
