Fishing from the banks allowed. The lake is a water source for the town so I assume the fish are safe to eat. There is a damn section so there might be some big catfish deep down. It's a nice park to fish and enjoy the scenery. There is a playground for the kids, along with a large pavilion. This area has a lot of mature trees. Note, the playground consists of one swing set and a slide. It looks like it was put in back in the 1960s. Everything is dated and in need of some TLC. It's not my top 10 parks in Davidson County when it comes to kids playgrounds, but it is a nice place to enjoy the scenery and fish. At the time of this review, there are no open restrooms. There is a green building next to the playground area that appears to be restrooms, but it is boarded up.
