She has a wonderful bedside manner and takes whatever time you need to talk about your health. I have had a number of health issues and with her support, I have overcome almost all of them. I love the front desk receptionist, Donna. She is always so nice and welcoming. I have never not been able to get a sick visit the day I call and one time I called with extremely high blood pressure and they had me come right then and squeezed me in. The staff are all very caring and do their jobs well. When I was in for my first rectal cancer surgery and on a liquid diet, they kept bringing me sweet tea with my trays. I told the person from dietary that I do not like tea, but would appreciate something else to drink if they had anything, She said that was the standard menu for a liquid diet, but she would see what she could do. She left my room, then came back with 5 cans of Gatorade. She said to let her know if I needed more. The nurses are amazing. There were some technical issues in my room when I had my second rectal cancer surgery. My call bell wasn't working, so when I pressed it to ask for my pain medication, they did not get the notification at the nurse's station. It was around shift change, so luckily a CNA came in to get my vitals. I told her I had been ringing for my pain medication, but there was no answer. She ran out of the room, suddenly I was swarmed by nurses. They got me settled with my pain medication, then got to work trying to figure out why my call bell wasn't working. They messed with the plug in the wall, and it started working again. They also noticed my room was missing a phone, so they went and got me one. They wrote their direct phone number up on my white board, so in case the call bell stopped working again, I could call them instead. For the rest of the night, any time anybody came to check on me, they made sure my call bell still worked. I absolutely would have another procedure there again.

If you want the best care for yourself or family members then you need to look elsewhere..My dad…read morehas COPD and has had a prescription for Advair inhaler..this inhaler is very necessary for him to breathe properly..and not have to rely on oxygen..after being notified by the Pharmacy that the prescription had run out and was denied renewal I contacted the Drs office that morning to find out why..I was informed that I could call back after 3pm or contact the Pharmacy to find out if the prescription was being renewed..I called back around 3:30...the prescription had been denied..after I requested answers I was told that it would be reviewed and could expect a return call..the office closes at 5pm so after not getting any response from the office I called back at 4:45..I was treated very rudely and was told the prescription had been renewed and sent to the pharmacy...it makes me sad for the patients that don't question issues similar to what we experienced with this office..my Dad will be locating a different medical provider that will take time a treat him like he is no more than just a number!!

This is a "popularly referred practice." Perhaps they are popular because of the volume of clients that they service. Still, the office is old, smelly, and overcrowded with clients in the parking lot and the lobby, and there are long waits. Their phone and in-person customer service causes people to slip through the cracks. If I could give zero stars, I would. After waiting months for an appointment, I was forced to leave crying profusely due to the harsh treatment and unprofessional bedside manner of Dr. Ramachandran, PCP at Greensboro Medical Associates. Avoid him and this office! I am disabled and was 3 minutes late, stuck in their overcrowded parking lot in an argument with another patient who had blocked my car in, and I couldn't get my walking equipment out of my back seat (despite arriving 10 minutes early). I made it into the office flustered and explained to the front desk, but that made no difference to the doctor. Dr. Ramachandran had made up his mind about me because I had already canceled a previous appointment due to a COVID-19-positive status and resulting complications (excuse me for following CDC guidelines!). The "kicker" (and gut punch) was his demeanor. He came into the room without introducing himself, with no attempt at seeming remotely interested in being there, and said, "Why are you here," in a flat tone. Confused, I repeated the question because I knew I had constantly communicated with his staff about my needs; he became exasperated and then specifically asked what was wrong with me. That's when I knew something was not right. I wondered if he was okay, and he said he could refer me to his P.A., but he didn't think he and I "would be a good fit." Mind you, he said this with minimal time in the room, little contact with me, and with the most disgusted look of disdain on his face, I began to cry. Being from the BIPOC community and now disabled, I have been on the receiving end of that demeanor and look, although very far and few times in between. I couldn't leave the room fast enough (and have a walking impediment). I went, crying, to the reception and asked that it be noted that I do not want Dr. Ramachandran to have anything else to do with my file or anyone else at Greensboro Medical Associates. The office did not correctly handle the cancellation of my initial appointment due to COVID-19, and I am unsure if that caused the doctor's justification of his treatment of me. Regardless, I am not satisfied with the communication breakdown, his egregious behavior toward me, and the lack of empathy from the medical office. I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone.
