But it's totally worth finding: - Well maintained bike/jogging trail that goes for a couple of miles - Skate park for the teenage boys in your family - Tennis - Baseball/Softball fields that are well maintained and used by the Little League - Sand Volleyball - A public pool The pool is pretty basic but it ranges from 3 to 12 feet and has 2 diving boards. It's also dirt cheap. Sugar Land residents pay $1 for kids under 18 before 5 and $2.25 for adults before 5, $0.50 for kids/$1.00 for adults after 5. Non residents can use the pool for a little more: $1.25 for kids under 18 and $2.85 for adults before 5, $0.65 for kids and $1.25 for adults after 5. We eventually found Memorial Park in a newer part of Sugar Land. But the pool at City Park is a good option for the summer if you don't have ready access to one in your neighborhood and the trails are well maintained. If your kids are into skateboards, the skate park has shade and looked pretty popular.

We timed it and waited 30 minutes after the last thunder sound to go ask if we could go in. They told us the last sound was one minute ago. Uh what? Okay... As we were leaving, I decided to check if they had a number I could have to call and ask if the pool is open. I was banging on the gate yelling HELLO! HELLO! Even though they were right by the gate, they couldn't hear me over their laughing. After awhile, they looked back over their shoulder and utter "Yeah?" I asked 'Could I speak to someone face to face please?' And they didn't even move and said "what?" I was appalled and so disgusting by their attitude. I see this behavior in my high school classes, but if these are lifeguards representing the community we pay to be apart of, I never want to go back again. My 6-year-old son even looked at me and said 'They are not very nice, right?' Pahh!!

The whole area lacks ample shade, so choose the time of day and season accordingly. The pool is locked for residence I believe. Same goes for the restroom. Water fountain is available. Notes: -The sidewalk has uneven steps near the splash pad area. Careful when you walk. - There are often times fire ants near the bench area because of food droppings. Be aware when your little one sits or stands near there. - Press the button in the front of the splash pad to activate. I think the splash pad is only open during the summer.

At a monthly evaluation recently, her coach made her do a combination movement that she did not want to do and she let her coach know that. She did not have the proper training or safety to perform it on her own. It ended up with her breaking her arm. Another family member had taken her to class that day and I have asked for a written explanation many times from the school and they have not responded. I did receive a call from one of the owners saying that she did not see what happened and she hadn't spoke to the instructor, which was not helpful to what I am asking - why was my daughter asked to do something on her own when she did not want to and without protections and without the necessary experience to execute the movement. On the call the owner explained that gymnastics is unpredictable, but that is why the school and instructors should be training in a way to avoid injuries. Some injuries may happen, but when making girls do things on their own when they are not ready is not right. Now my daughter never wants to do gymnastics again. She has gone through so much pain with her broken arm and a painful surgery. The school's silence on this is disheartening.

No question that the gym is nice, but that is the only saving grace for this program until greater effort is made to build the brand of a player-focused program. In addition, my friend and I gave you gym a 45 day notice verbally, and written notice 30 days prior. No one at the front desk or our trainer knew the steps to closing out our membership. We were sent away and told to speak to Tim who was out on medical leave, and you were out of town. When we were able to finally speak Tim we were told to write our names and numbers on a sheet of paper and we would be called, which we were not (hence why we were charged this month). I know you were aware because I overheard your convo with my trainer saying "his pay might be affected." Time started on Thursday (August 2nd) he never received the paper. When my friend called he said he did, however she was still charged, and has been waiting days for a return phone call. So are these business mistakes or just an poorly run business?
