The Commissary is the place for surprises. I say this because they do not advertise their sales. You have to go to the store to find the surprise deals. Overall the prices in the commissary are hard to beat their prices. Some of their items may be found for cheaper prices at other grocery stores. The difference in my opinion are the low meat prices and the wide selection of international foods. They also have a sushi bar and the deli prepares hot and cold sandwiches. The long lines at the commissary are deceiving. The lines always move quickly and the baggers will take your groceries to your car. The baggers do not work the commissary, they are paid through tips only, so this keeps the cost a little lower.

Very slow lines and long self checkout lanes... entire place could use a facelift seems dated and old.

The store is very good. The parking lot is in desperate need of repaving.

Sometimes busy. Its like a regular grocery store. Things, such as food, are cheaper than an average grocery store.

I always enjoy my shopping trip there, unlike the other options of shopping off base.

So when I say I have frequented this Kroger location for almost the entirety of my 15 years in Augusta, that means something. I will also note that means I stuck with them through the early waves of COVID-19, as they had already implemented curbside pickup months before the statewide shut down. I have seen the location go through major renovations, including product placement and the increase of self-checkout lanes. But some things (and very important ones at that) have remained the same. The customer service here is universally top notch. From team members who bring out your groceries and load them in the trunk to the person overseeing self-checkout to the pharmacy, they are always helpful, patient, and kind. My interaction with the bakery has been minimal, but it too has always been a positive experience. I appreciate their overall selection, their organic-all natural options, and yes even their clearance section (it's like a treasure hunt every time I visit). One item I feel is underappreciated is their in-house sushi. You can get a single roll (only $5 on Wednesday's) or order an entire tray. Quality at a great pice. Also worth mentioning is their NA options. Samuel Adams, Guinness, Athletic Brewing, and Hop Water are all there. I will be coming here until the day I depart Augusta.

I'm not sure why it closed or if Harvey's the new supermarket is taking over Bi-Lo locations. The setup seemed the same, but of course the branding was different. They had green mostly to match with the outside signage. There was a cafe in the area near the deli/bakery. The pricing seemed a bit higher than Kroger, which is where I usually shop because of the savings and card perks. They did have a section where everything was $1. I didn't browse it since I was in a rush. There is plenty of parking because it is located in a plaza. I don't live anywhere near this grocery store, but I'd visit occasionally if I were in the area.

There was tons of buzz about this place because they have great prices on some things that cost much more around town. For instance, I picked up two packs of bone-in, thick cut pork chops for a little over $3. It was about 7 in each pack. You couldn't beat that price with a stick!!! There were tons of other deals around the store but, that was just an example of how this store was needed for the budget conscious consumer like myself!!!! They also have a $1 aisle were there are all types of things that are $1 each. I've heard some of my friends already say they will never shop anywhere else for groceries again. I'm not going to say that because I can find deals almost anywhere I shop. This store also redeem and reward you with the Plenti rewards program. I was already a member of that program so I didn't have to sign up, but if you're not it's a breeze to do so. This place is definitely one to check out and see what kind of amazing deals you can find for yourself!!!
