Outstanding. Really. Mike and Michelle run a very clean and secure facility at a great price. They are so kind, professional and accommodating. We feel very confident storing our RV there. This place is awesome. The people are the nicest. We were moving a friend from Prescott back to California. We got a flat on our u-haul. Being not from the area and not sure how to use the U-haul web site, we saw Fort Knox self storage with all the U-hauls out front. We stopped in and asked what we need to do. She explained how we need to get ahold of road side assistance. I tried repeatedly to no avail. She walked me through it. While we waited she brought us ice cold water. She made us feel like guest while we stranded on the road miles from home. If I lived in the area I would use any service they provide. Being from out of the area I will definitely call her if I need anything U-haul. read more

The people who run FtKnox are very pleasant but their policies are punitive. They prorated us moving in but they didn't moving out with 20 days left. So it's locked until our time period is up. read more

Very disappointing experience. Had reserved trailer to transport car for the day. All went well until we went to laid our car on the uhaul trailer. It was quite dirty which I commented on. The the tie down ratchets were stiff and difficult to move, one was rusty. I asked the lady attendant if she had some WD40 to spray on the ratchets. No she said, her husband was gone and he would know but nope. After me struggling to tighten the straps and the attendant also we finally got the tightened. Then came the rear chain which was also a problem. I asked to change to a different trailer which was in the lot. She told me no. That one was spoken for and a one way trailer, where mine was a round trip trailer. Finally she said you don't sound happy just take the car off the trailer and she would cancel the transaction with no offer offer of making other arrangements. We stuck with this trailer and drive to Phoenix and back by 5. When we retuned she did not come if office. We had to unhook the trailer and then left. Poor customer service!!! Will not go back there. read more
