We stopped in Jerome and was not disappointed. It is a cute town in Arizona's Black Hills. It…read morepromotes being a ghost town, and is considered one of the most haunted places in Arizona. We were able to park on the street for free, but there is also areas to pay for parking. We spent a few hours walling the town, going in and out of shops, galleries and wineries. Many of the buildings had plaques stating what the building was in the past. A nice way to learn about the history of the town. The views of the Sedona's Red Rock , Verde Valley and the San Francisco Peaks were beautiful. Worth spending a few hours visiting.

Certainly if you are the type that would like to see an old ghost town you should definitely put Jerome your list! I really enjoyed the welcome center, and then the town itself! I won't lie the drive up and down the hill for me was a little stressful. I mean safe but you know if you're afraid of heights I do recommend going but just take your time. Go slow and certainly make sure you drive during the day and leave before sunset heading down the hill. I wish the railings were larger on some parts of the drive up and down the hill, but anyway enough of that. It really is an easy drive I don't want to scare you into not going, but I'm from the East Coast where everything is flat so for me it was a bit stressful lol. The main part of town is only about two or three blocks wide and then maybe I don't know five or six blocks long really fantastic little place! Make sure you hit all of the museums and in the downtown area as well, there were so much fun and learned so much about Jerome It was really easy to do in a half day. You probably only need a few hours in town, maybe two or three hours to walk around maybe add another hour on for a meal. We stopped in a pizzeria, which was absolutely delicious and we were in and out there in 30 minutes and we got to sit at a table in order. Absolutely fascinating place, you might want to start at the welcome center at the very top of the hill to understand the history of the town and to see a three-dimensional model of the entire town before actually heading into the town and parking. You might want to get there a little on the earlier side of the day too, so you could get a parking spot I mean, we had no trouble. We parked in the area around the sliding jail. You might want to look and understand where there's parking before you go, but other than that, you probably could find a spot pretty easy. There are two main streets in the town where many of the buildings have a plaque outside and describe what the building used to be used for back in the old West days. I love just walking along the street, stopping at every historic home and reading about it. I had a great time here! It really made a wonderful trip out to Sedona even better! Highly recommended for a side trip while staying in Sedona, I would travel during the light hours of the day as you will be driving up and down a hillside.

We went to a RUSH concert last month at US Airways Center for our anniversary. At the last minute…read morewe decided to price a car and driver to get us to the show. Rhonda was excellent at arranging a driver and nice car for the two of us with a short notice. The price was moderate and fair enough for having a reliable, smooth, clean and private car with a driver who would get us safely home after drinking a bit at the show. We got lucky to get a smaller sedan for the lower price than a LIMO and we got a very cool man named "Jack" who safely got us to our concert destination in Phoenix from remote Wilhoit. Our pickup and drop off location puts us on the remote two lane highways via Wickenburg for the drive to Phoenix. We spent three hours with Jack and we had the smaller sedan with no privacy. We had the larger sedan that stretched with privacy and shut off from the driver the last time we took a ride with Executive Transportation and the ride was pretty quiet and seemed longer. Both drivers were professional both cars were nice and we enjoyed our rides the two times we've used this company. Must say that we will order a smaller sedan and ask for "Jack" when we take our next ride into PHX for a event or show! We had great convo, the ride seemed to go by fast heading to the concert and the ride back to our place felt comfortable resting/sleeping most the way. We really felt at ease on the long stretch through the desert with Jack who also spoiled us with several stops along the way for the restroom and to grab some munchies and drinks. There have been some road changes and new areas of highways including ROUNDABOUTS built so Jack was even more valuable to us as a couple of Cali Kids trekking off to a out of state concert. We even were in territory that a GPS wont even show yet! Right when Jack had met us he handed each of us a card with his cellular number. While in the show Jack phoned to say WHERE he would be to pick us up and he had it all planned pretty well considering we were in a crowd in the HEAT OF THE DESERT! This driver NEVER MADE A WRONG TURN or if he did - we sure didn't know!! ALSO, a special note, the next day our phone rang and it was Rhonda saying we had to pay more. There was a small discrepancy about charging $55 additional for an extra 1/2 hour of overage and a parking fee! After we explained our situation to Rhonda and reviewing what we had agreed to the prior day before we arranged for the vehicle, she did listen! Our bill did NOT change and should not have changed from our original quote and we do appreciate that management took our reasons to not be charged additional into consideration. The ride was priced properly and fair and we had even gone above/beyond the gratuity that was PRE CHARGED giving our driver a decent cash tip. There was no legitimate reason to pop the parking and another 1/2 hour onto our bill once we reviewed the TIMELINE and LOCATIONS and the drivers personal CHOICE to park and have us walk far and several floors which was FINE by us! The 1/2 hour didn't exist and the $20.00 for parking was NEVER mentioned and was NOT part of the original quote/agreement. Communication is vital now and we do speak up when we believe we are being charged inappropriately or getting wrong product or service and not all know how to respond to a customer who tries to reasonably communicate. We had a GREAT time and the ride added to our good memories. Thank you to Executive Transportation for keeping it all sweet! You did the right thing to continue to please a good paying customer and did NOT break your agreement after we all reviewed the situation. We will continue using and referring your company to those we know.
