I recently brought my vehicle to Fort Motors in Fort St. John for service. The technician diagnosed the issue and provided a quote, which I accepted--including the diagnostic fee--even though it was quite expensive. I placed my trust in Ford, as the manufacturer of my vehicle, to deliver quality and dependable service.
Unfortunately, after some time, I was informed of additional problems that would nearly double the original estimate. This raised concerns about whether the initial assessment was thorough enough, and it left me feeling uncertain about the process.
What's more concerning is that, unlike other dealerships I've dealt with--where they provide a detailed video showing the actual diagnostic findings--Fort Motors did not offer any form of visual confirmation. I was never shown what exactly was wrong or what had been fixed. In fact, my vehicle's issues have only worsened since the service, which makes me question whether any meaningful repairs were done at all.
While I understand that unexpected issues can arise during repairs, I believe a more accurate and transparent diagnosis at the beginning would have prevented this situation. It has been both financially and emotionally difficult to deal with the rising costs and ongoing issues.
To make matters worse, the overall customer service experience was very disappointing. Communication was poor, and I didn't feel that my concerns were taken seriously at any point during the process.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fort Motors. I expected better service from a Ford-certified dealership, and I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve how they treat customers going forward. read more
