We...KB, B, and myself came up today for trail riding with our own horses and Franki Dog. Great facilities for horses and girls staying in Lodge. Myself and Franki stayed in our horse trailer camper. Dogs not allowed in Lodge rooms, but are in cabins which require a 2 night stay. We only have enough time away for 1 night. Really nice campground with electric. Full service campground also available. Was beautiful riding which we waited until after 5p to do. The organized rides stop then and we could ride without other traffic, and take Franki along. Dogs not allowed on the organized tour rides and rental horses. Was great experience and we are not into the trail riding thing. We 3 plan to ride tomorrow morning again for a short distance again. read more

Paid for my two night stay, before I had even finished setting up wheel chalks/lifts and plugging in, their security came over and complained I did t put my post badge on their post. Ugh. That night we went to take a shower and they've got a coin box in the showers!!! $1.50 for 3 minutes. What a damn disgrace. No WIFI in the campgrounds and limited cell service too. Not to mention, as a Combat Veteran, this military "Fort" doesn't even honor our veterans with a discount at check in. Disgraceful!!! Absolutely disgraceful!!! Shame on you Nebraska. I'm checking out early and driving on to the Dakotas. Pretty sure they value Veterans. read more
