They said steaming the wrinkles out would take out the accordion pleats. I walked in and explained the situation to Steve and he was willing to give it a try. He walked in the back with the dress while I stood in the front with my fingers crossed. He came back and said "I can do this the pleats are staying intact". I told him how relieved I was that it could be steamed and that she wouldn't walk down the isle like a wrinkled mess. I could not thank him enough for helping me out.
