I was in a jam to have my daughter's dress altered for a Sweet 16 and the Laura stayed late for me to get to there, pinned the dress and brought it to the seamstress that night! The dress was ready by 1pm the next day and it fit my daughter like a glove! They did an amazing job and were so reasonably priced! First time customer and will never go anywhere else! Late Friday afternoon and my son needed his suit dry-cleaned by the next day for a 7am interview in NYC in Monday. Called 2 other places and they apologized and said they couldn't do it. Called Greenlawn Cleaners and was told "absolutely". I had to order a poorly made bridesmaid dress from David's Bridal and they bent over backwards to help solve the issues. I was frantically calling dry cleaners to have someone hem my daughter's prom dress. One by one, they all laughed at me because prom was hours away. Everyone was booked solid, including Greenlawn Cleaners. After the initial slight panic by Laura, the owner, she said call me back in 15 minutes. "I will find someone to do it." She understood my dilemma and without hesitation, she was going to make sure the alterations would get done ASAP. She was extremely kind, accommodating and professional. She called her part time tailor at home and asked if she could help out. This tailor was quite busy herself but said no problem. I dropped the dress at the shop and said I needed to get money from the bank to pay for it. I will be back in 5 minutes. When I returned, one of her employees had already left to get the dress to the tailor. I couldn't believe it. They personally ran it over to her home, even though I insisted in doing it myself. They were super busy themselves. Laura and her staff were incredibly kind when they greeted me, even though they were insanely busy. Their stress did not affect their customer service. I found the shop to be very clean with this friendly staff. The alterations were perfect. I will ONLY reccomend this shop for all your dry cleaning needs. What I was charged for the alterations was quite reasonable as well. I'm glad all those other cleaners laughed at my dilemma and were quick to rush me off the phone. Because of that, I found Laura whose outstanding customer service over the phone, lead me to her. She went over and beyond to accommodate a total stranger.
