GREAT communication from start to finish, best options, and at the hottest clubs and places to be seen! My girlfriend from South Carolina wanted to do her Bachelorette party in Scottsdale. Since I hadn't been out in FOREVER, when I saw Tau's new side door experience I reached out to learn the details and see if it would make this an experience to remember.. and it was! We met up at Cala, were given complimentary drinks.. the new Becky Personality juice was actually super good!! Like a fun seltzer that I didn't mind drinking! We got to hop around all the Scottsdale clubs with free shots at every venue! One quick handshake and a check of our IDs and we walked right in! It was like a new party every time with beautiful bartenders, get your heart rate pumping music, DJs throwing down and getting everyone dancing, and an experience from another world. It's like Vegas with a curfew! Every time we got to skip the line and walk right in! Truly felt VIP and helped us have a fun night vs spending half the time in lines. What I thought was really cool, was the fact that Tau himself was our personal concierge! He takes great pride in making sure everyone is having a good time! You can opt for a solo tour or join up with other bachelor/Bachelorette groups to make it more fun! So depending on your group -you don't have to do it alone! We did have one group join us for a bit, but we still got to do our own thing! All in all, my girlfriend had the best Bachelorette and didn't have to wait for lines and have a good time. Amazing venue to catch some live music…read more Our friend, Jeff Frost of Frosty and the Silver Tones, was having a Sunday afternoon/evening concert at Wasted Grain. Great gig but also a perfect setting for filming a demo reel to give out to potential buyers. We had to be there. Love how all of the windows in the place unfold or open to give the place some real atmosphere. Cool and breezy. The bartender was fast with our waters. They had no iced tea or root beer, etc. All alcohol - or water. We did order a great Meat Lovers Flatbread only $18 including tax. The band rocked it for 3 full sets and got the reel they wanted. Hope it gets them some gigs because they are a fun band full of energy - with 6 members who can sing, Definitely keep this place on your short list of venues in the Scottsdale area, not too far from Fashion Square, etc.

My personal favorite part of Wasted Grain, is that it's a designated Michigan State University bar. As a fellow Spartan, it's fun to "Go Green" on the West Coast and in the best Old Town Scottsdale. With green and "MSU" decorations all around, and with the bartenders sometimes wearing MSU T-shirts, I always feel right at home. If you're on the dance floor, you can expect to sing and dance all night long. If you're outside, you can expect good vibes and conversations with friends. If you're upstairs when they have their "ski lodge" open, you can expect fun as well. It's always crowded and fun and you can guarantee to have the best night.

Note that there is almost NO SHADE in the General Admission SRO/lawn areas and even the assigned bleacher seats! Sunscreen/hat/sunglasses and even battery operated fans are a must! There is some respite from the sun in the GA+/VIP/Platinum Lounges as well as the VIP/Platinum bar viewing areas. For GA+ our experience this year is to note that the only perk for this upgrade is access to the lounge area with upgraded bathrooms (nicer space but the regular bathrooms were so ample they did not have long lines), dedicated drink areas and shaded seating areas within the lounge. The weekend shows were noticeably more crowded, yielding mostly Standing Room Only logistics in filled stadiums, particularly toward the end of the night. The attendees were wonderfully considerate throughout the event and there were many families in the crowd. Innings, we will be back!

What really makes this place stand out is that there is not a single bad seat in the house. The show we were at did not have a lot of choices left when we we're looking for tickets, and I was concerned that we would have bad seats. That is impossible here. This is a great venue and I'll be looking into more shows here because of the fantastic seating arrangement.
