Wasted Grain is one of the best bars in Old Town Scottsdale. The drinks are the best, and the live music is always such a vibe. Wasted Grain hosts some of the best bands in town. My personal favorite part of Wasted Grain, is that it's a designated Michigan State University bar. As a fellow Spartan, it's fun to "Go Green" on the West Coast and in the best Old Town Scottsdale. With green and "MSU" decorations all around, and with the bartenders sometimes wearing MSU T-shirts, I always feel right at home. If you're on the dance floor, you can expect to sing and dance all night long. If you're outside, you can expect good vibes and conversations with friends. If you're upstairs when they have their "ski lodge" open, you can expect fun as well. It's always crowded and fun and you can guarantee to have the best night.

WASTED GRAIN REVIEW ***HALLOWEEN EDITION*** ‍ Came here for Scottsdale's Halloween Bar Crawl and had an amazing time. As someone who gets overstimulated in the club, I loved the vibe and openness of Wasted Grain. Tons of lounging room, 2 main bars with lots of space to sit and spread around the main bar, indoor-outdoor seating with an open concept. Huge couches outside to sit while playing pong or cornhole. Really great venue to kick it with a group and for people watching. They also know how to host an event that's for sure. Drinks were pricey (duh) but the service was great and the bartender girlies came to check on us even when we were just chilling in the booth. There was a stage with a live band and just top tier vibes to start our bar crawl!

    Tune up rehearsal

4/19/25. Tonight is the Performance "The Winehouse Experience". Ambiance 5/5 Great small venue for music performances or house music . Nice bars x4. Outside space between two buildings, the fourth one is a small upper level rooftop nightclub that opens at 9pm to 2am. Service 5/5 Our server was Stephanie, she made us happy, She was very friendly & attentive. There wonderful staff made our experience nice. Our (4-5) diet Cokes over the course of our visit and Nachos tab was $26.96 + our $20 Tip. Food 3/5 We ordered nachos to snack on, they were just ok. Glad we ate earlier at Dirk Bentley's so we weren't hungry. Our Tip was for generous service by Stephanie and in know way an endorsement of the food. Amy Winehouse experience was fantastic! Mia Carter did a great Job putting on her Amy Winehouse performance. Great vocals, beautiful woman who got everything right from hair to outfit, her moves and that Amy Voice! But let's not forget the Band. Everyone from the brass the string, keyboard, drummer and male accompanying singer all were outstanding. The accompanying singer did a solo signing Smoky Robinson and nail him too. Pro Tip Reserved Seating was pricy ($43 each) and they have a two drink minimum but the view and energy was great. You can sit at the bar and enjoy the music and there are VIP booths you can reserve for groups as well but we noticed they had restricted views of the stage which honestly is a shame. Nice quaint venue for live bands. Old Town Scottsdale night life till 2am. Eat Drink and be Merry and don't forget to Yelp about it! SYOY!

WOW!! What a fun, unique spot in old town Scottsdale. I'm visiting from out of state and I truly experienced such incredible hospitality from the staff here. Special shout out to Joseph, Sam, and Barret!! Y'all are the best & the reasons I'll be coming back for plenty more visits! This was very clearly the hottest bar/club in old town on a Saturday night. The line was down the block, the bartenders were quick and so nice, and the live music was a hit! Bottle service here is beyond what I've ever seen. There was a VIP booth with food catered and very spacious so you have your own area to dance without the hassle of a crowd. 10/10 recommend! Also, this is a 49er bar. Football games on the patio are probably top notch! Such a great vibe overall. Don't forget to check out upstairs in the ski lodge! This venue is great!!

Came here for pickle fest and it was fun! This bar has an indoor and outdoor space which I like and the garlic pickle Mac and cheese was tasty The bartenders were friendly and had quick service. There is a stage for live music, indoor seating/benches with tables, outdoor seating and tables, and standing bars! I think it would be fun to come here on a weekend night with the girls. Plus there are a lot of cute security guard iykyk

Cool spot, and a few events that were fun. Waitresses were on point. It seemed to be 3 bars in one. We were in an upstairs area, then there is the main bar that has a stage for live music and a patio area with huge tv's. It's a Hotspot in Scott's Dale.

We came to listen to the starting cover band called Retroactive. They were great and the venue worked - not too crowded or too hot. Bar service was the only way to get a drink as they were understaffed. Acoustics were good (very loud!) and the stage was very close to the bar area.

My pretty blue lemon drop that cost $18

Who can we contact for bottle service for a bachelorette party? My friends and I have been trying to contact by phone and by email for weeks, I would even say months, but no reply.

The main line is 480.970.0500. The VIP Manager is 928.308.4211. Both numbers answer or return calls the same day.

Says you r open for happy hour 4-7. Went there yesterday. No one there What days are you open?

We are open Thursday through Sunday, we have limited hours just this week due to the holidays.

What time is happy hour? I checked the website and could not find it.

Happy Hour is 4-7 Monday though Friday. We hope to see you!

It tries to be those things and fails in all. The layout: It's a long narrow room. The stage is on the smaller far end. The tables are arranged going back along the long direction. If you're sitting more than halfway back you'll be disappointed in the seating. In the back are high-top tables which are very small. The "bar" is along the long wall. The "restaurant" is catered food ( I don't think the venue has a kitchen). It's arranged buffet style on portable tables in the lobby. You go in a line and chose your dinner and they hand it to you in a plastic to-go container. You eat at your table and then bus your leftovers and trash to the trash can. There is no wait service. Just like eating at a fast food restaurant. If your sitting at a small high-top table there's not enough room for more than two people to eat. You'll be seated with strangers and they'll be right in your face as you eat. The "bar" only has beer and wine for alcohol. Or you could get a canned mixed drink. Stand in line and wait your turn at the end of the bar. The bar seats are reserved for the show. Remember no wait service. So if you want a drink during the show you have to go to the bar. Music was not Jazz. Very slow, boring folk. The crowd was 70+ year olds. And they charge for this experience? Won't be going back.

Based on how this place is described and marketed, we were expecting an intimate, vintage-feeling evening where we could sit down, have a cocktail, listen to jazz, and enjoy the atmosphere. That was not our experience. There were definitely things we liked. The location was great, the overall theme and decor were beautiful, the lighting created a great atmosphere, and we enjoyed the food and drinks. The service was also very good. However, the entertainment was a huge miss and completely took us out of the experience. We walked in and the band was performing "Genie in a Bottle," followed by other current/recent pop songs, Backstreet Boys songs, and "Creep." The singer was repeatedly screaming into the microphone and encouraging everyone to scream and make noise. At one point, while sitting in what is supposed to be a speakeasy, we were literally listening to him sing "creep" which is one of the most depressing songs of all time. It felt much more like being at a loud dive bar or country bar than an intimate 1920s inspired speakeasy. My biggest issue is that the entertainment did not match the experience being advertised. You can decorate a room beautifully and make it look like the 1920s, but when the soundtrack is "Genie in a Bottle," "Creep," and Backstreet Boys songs being loudly belted into a microphone, the illusion disappears pretty quickly. The noise level also made it difficult to simply sit, have a drink, talk, and enjoy the space. We specifically chose this place because we wanted that relaxed jazz/speakeasy experience, and that simply wasn't what we got. The cocktail selection was another disappointment. For a speakeasy-style bar, I expected a stronger selection of specialty bourbon and whiskey cocktails. The prices also felt excessive for the overall experience. On top of the already-high prices, we paid a $20 entertainment cover ($10 per person) specifically for the band. I wouldn't have minded paying a cover for quality live entertainment that fit the advertised atmosphere, but the artist was not particularly impressive and, more importantly, the music didn't fit the theme at all. There is a lot of potential here. The space itself is beautiful, the service was good, and they nailed many of the visual details. Unfortunately, the entertainment is such a major part of a speakeasy experience that it overshadowed everything else for us. If you're specifically looking for jazz, flapper-era music, and an authentic-feeling 1920s speakeasy atmosphere, I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

Navigating through the crowd was difficult, and there didn't appear to be enough room for people to exit easily if needed. This is something we have ordered frequently in your establishment, most recently on March 8th, 2026. Every time we have purchased this, the Wycliff bottles have been $25. This means that we should receive 2 bottles for $25.01 based on the special listed on your menu. When we received the check, we were charged $50.01 for the 2 bottles. We pointed out the mistake to the bar tender who said the price was correct. We informed her that we have come here approximately once/month for the last year and the cost has never been $50 for a bottle of Wycliff. She asked another employee to come over and we explained the same issue to her. She (we did not get her name) said she has been a Manager there for several years and that has always been the price. I told her we have ordered this special over the last year and we would never pay $50 for a bottle of Wycliff. She refused to adjust our check. I asked her to show me on a menu where a bottle of Wycliff costs $50. Of course, she was not able to do that because it doesn't exist. We generally are very generous with our tip, as we consider this a good deal and the staff is usually great. - I have attached a copy of the receipt. We would like to continue to frequent Mother Tuckers, as we have always had a good time and like to bring friends visiting from out of town. I am hopeful this was an oversight by your employees and a refund will be put back on my credit card for the overcharge.
