Chose this theater based on the showtimes available for 'The Final Destination: Bloodlines' movie. Upon parking I immediately noticed how small this theater is and once inside how intimate the vibe was because of that. Service was quick. Seat selection available. Seats recline and are comfortable. Food and drink service are available. Very clean.

I came in on to see Wicked For Good and bought my ticket online in advance. There's a small lobby and check in when you walk in and a bar to the right. I went to my seat and used the QR code to order popcorn and a water. They don't have Apple Pay so you have to enter your credit card in the dark which is hard. The popcorn bowl is HUGE. I sat in the fourth row so I could get a reclining chair and it was comfortable. The sound and visual qualities for the movie were great.

Please add 1 more star to this review if you are not planning to order any food or beverages during your visit. Unfortunately, the problem with my experience was about the food. I'm tech savvy and know where to get the menu and placed the order without issues, even caught on that I have to order water as an item. I arrived 30 minutes early hoping that I can order everything well before the movie starts. Not only it didn't happen, I waited 25 minutes for my water, and another 20 minutes for food after the movie started. In addition, my food came without the key ingredient of the dish - the pork. I hated that In the middle of the movie, I had to pull up my phone to ping our server. Another 10 minutes has gone by, no server in sight, got a hold of the runner who was dropping off my in-law's food, and then I had to whisper what the issue was. Missed 5 minutes of the movie. I finally got the proper dish with everything in it...20 minutes later. Another 20 minutes after, another food runner showed up with the same dish, another disruption of the movie. SMH. I appreciate the effort, and the meal was comped (need to clarify on their recovery), but sighhhh, I just knew that this would have been a way better experience without the F&B hiccups.

I was confused why this place had so many lackluster reviews and then I read them and realized they are all very personal issues way overblown. Were you guys mean to the wait staff or something? They are based here. Better than Almo Draft. I've been a few times and each time is a joy, wow! Cool posters on the wall. Great sound and picture. I'm even buying tickets for others just for the loyalty program. I've had a few hiccups like a popcorn refill issue and my tickets not showing up on the app but these are all very solvable... Popcorn is great, air is nice, temp is not too cold and there's many good deals. Tuesday and Wednesday has discounts. I was impressed by how CLEAN the floors and bathroom were! Any question I was answered by a super and when I had a issue with my tickets I just called the venue direct and spoke with the manager. Easy. I'm glad they show classics, foreign and anime here as well... I really want to order in the dining room at some point and make a date night of it! Literally my only issue was how OFTEN the wait staff came in to check on everybody, they were serving food and refills until 20 minutes left for the movie. Pretty much on the ball at all times, plus you have the concessions app you can order from at any point so you don't have to wait for them to come to ask what you need. Speaking of apps, they worked out a lot of kinks with the Majestic movie app which makes it so nice for ordering tickets ahead of time!

Service charge for customers so the business doesn't have to pay their employees fair wages. Crazy..

Awful business, they charge customers for "rising server wages" service fee instead of paying their employees a fair wage. Who knows if their employees are even getting any of this service fee they slap onto customer bills. Never coming back here again.

I love going to the movies. This neighborhood movie theate is conveniently located in Tempe with easy access from Baseline. The staff is friendly and the seating is comfortable. I prefer to sit in the recliner seats that are closer to the screen. I tried the chocolate chip cookie skillet and it was ok. It didn't really have any flavor. The cookie was warm and very soft, but t didn't taste like a chocolate chip cookie. Theater was clean and I enjoyed the movie.

Good first experience. Clean floors, bathrooms and seating. Personable staff was welcome. Nice treat we were waited on for food and drinks. Food showed up in short order...beer and okay chicken'n waffles. Got through the movie without any problems we're gone. Perfect with no drama or complaints. Last words...fancy like.

We decided to watch The Creator at this theatre and I'm glad we did. We stopped by for a Saturday night showing and bought tickets for three. Our showing was the last one of the night so it was pretty late already. (9:45pm) The lobby wasn't busy and only one couple walked in after us. The employee manning the ticket counter was friendly and patient. He let us know about their discounts and we showed him our credentials. Our tickets came out to be about $8.50 each which is so unheard of these days with the discount. We made our way to towards the theatres but we were a little lost. A worker must've seen our confused faces because she quickly ran over to us and pointed us to the correct theatre. We made it on in and we sat down. We took a look over the menu and decided on what we wanted. One unsweetened iced tea One Dr. Pepper One southwest chicken quesadilla One margarita pizza One order of chicken tenders with fries One boxed popcorn The server was very friendly and the food came out one by one. We got one refill and they checked up on us several times. The chicken quesadilla was delicious! It was very flavorful and had a nice crisp to it. The tenders were small but the plate was loaded with fries. The pizza was pretty big and definitely enough for two. Popcorn was goooood. Total for food and tip was about $95. Our experience was great. We walked past a few employees as we walked out of the theatre and they thanked us for coming in, so nice. I will be back!

Ask the Community - Majestic Tempe 7

Do the "lights go down" at the listed time of the movie or at the end of the trailers?

Of course BUT the lights under the table for the menu unfortunately don't have an off-switch. It's cool to be able to look at my menu whenever but it's a bit distracting. I bring a spare hoodie to cover it, but hopefully they get on/off switches set…

I currently have a love/hate relationship with social media, but I'm so glad I came across a post showcasing this glorious theater located in Tempe! I was going to try it out by myself but the Crazy Cat Lady (if you follow me on the gram, you know who that is, lol) decided to come out from the boonies on a whim, so we went. We saw "Weapons" and it had us hooked to the end! No, the seats don't recline (they do lean back a little) or have swingy table tops for your snackies, but they have cup holders and they're not cloth seats, so for $3.50 (and $2.95 every Thursday) you really can't complain! The theater was clean and the nostalgic decor make for a very enJOYable experience. There's also an arcade in the front lobby to the left once you enter. My only little gripe is that the restrooms are on opposite ends, but that's a very minor setback. The concession stand has all the basics: popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, candy and drinks. We got the combo deal for $11.95, which includes a medium drink, medium popcorn AND a hot dog (or pretzel). We ordered an additional small drink and the total came out to $15 and some change. I don't know about you, but I know a good deal when I see one and this here is pretty epic in today's economy! Of course the movies shown here are a few months old, but I love that because that means it's not crowded at all. I can't stand a packed theater. This would be a great place for a birthday party, team-building or just a simple no frills kinda date! There's a bunch of pic opps in here, too. Have yourself a blast and don't forget to take a pic with Chewie, like me! Lol!

Fast forward 30+ years and you can imagine my excitement to pay $3.50 for a movie ticket! With cheap seat theaters you make the assumption there's going to be holes in the screens, broken seats, shotty sound and sticky floors however, pollack had none of the above. I caught two flicks today and both theaters were perfectly acceptable. In today's economy any night out comes with the expectation of the price tag going into three digit territory quickly. Pollack takes you back in time both in value and entertainment. You can even stick around and play street fighter 2 in the lobby/arcade. Call me "The Terminator" because "I'll be back"!

You enter through the different doors and then get your ticket scanned. For screenings where you can get the commemorative film strip, they hand them out AFTER the screening, while supplies last. I went to the first screening of the day and will continue doing that to guarantee I get the film strips :) I got there relatively early so I had plenty of time to order concessions, they have the exact same menu as the standard Harkins. After getting my mandatory cinnamon pretzel and cherry coke (my unbeatable movie theater snack duo), I made my way to the theater. Screen is gigantic! So cool that we have one in the valley. I got my seat at the middle of the very top row, which I did enjoy because the seats were separated in batches of 4-5, so I didn't have to walk past 10+ people to get to my seat. This is also the row where they have a couple spaces for wheelchair accessible seating. One thing I didn't expect was the rows to be so close to each other, so even though I was at the top row, there were some taller people in the lower rows that would block your view of the bottom of the screen if they were directly in front of your seat. I find that unfortunate, since the point of going to the IMAX is being able to see everything presented on the screen. Still need to figure out which seats are technically the best here. Audio and lighting was intense, not sure if that's for every movie or just The Odyssey but I felt like I was on the journey with them. I already got my tickets to go see Dune 3 in December :) very excited!

One thing I really liked is that the IMAX theater is separate from the regular theaters and has its own dedicated area, including concession stands and bathrooms. It makes the experience feel a little more premium and less crowded. Concessions are priced exactly how you'd expect at a movie theater, but the food was actually pretty solid. We ordered the chicken tenders combo along with popcorn and a drink. If you order a combo meal, you place the order at the counter and then wait in a separate pickup area where they bring the food out to you. The tenders came out piping hot and the fries were crispy. They also have extra butter dispensers if you want more, which I always do. The IMAX screen is HUGE and the sound system was excellent. Honestly, there really doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. We sat in G21/G22, which looked close to center on the seating chart, and the view was fantastic. Nice bonus that there's also an elevator available for guests who need accessible access to the upper seating areas. The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is the seating. The seats were standard theater seats that rocked slightly. They were comfortable enough, but reclining seats with tray tables would have made the experience much better, especially since any food you order basically has to be eaten from your lap. One small touch that stood out: before the movie started, a staff member made a live announcement reminding everyone to silence and put away their phones. Most theaters just play a prerecorded message now, so that felt surprisingly personal and appreciated. Overall, a really enjoyable IMAX experience and definitely worth checking out for big blockbuster movies.

Most recently, I was here for a screening of Tony hosted by A24. It was a pretty straightforward process of registering online then showing up relatively early because the seating was first come, first served. Screening started at 7pm so I showed up at 6pm and there was already a good amount of people in line but I was hopeful. What they didn't make super clear was that the line was only for General Admission, and there was already an unknown number of people in the theater that got in first due to some kind of Priority Access. Not sure how they got that. All us common folk waited in line - which moved very slowly, until around 7:55pm. Then, one of the managers told us 5 minutes before the screening that the seating was full. I feel like there was a chance to tell us a bit earlier, since there were still about 50 of us waiting in line. I was about 15 people away from getting in, but they could have told the people at the very back of the line that it was unlikely they would get in so that they wouldn't waste their time waiting. Not a super big deal - it was a free screening - but the manager showed us a QR code to scan and fill out a google form to get priority access to a screening the following week. Maybe the priority people that day were rejects of a previous day... very enlightening. What she didn't specify is that the screening was at a Harkins location in Scottsdale - and that was only clear after filling out the form and getting an email about it days later. Don't know why they were gatekeeping information; I would have preferred to know more details upfront. I ended up getting a ticket to a different movie that also started at 7pm, so at least my theater outing wasn't wasted. Staff at the concessions is quick- it's just the customers that are sometimes so slow in deciding what they want to order. Appreciate that this harkins has the recliner seats. Overall, I just want the organization of the screenings to be better.

I also like ordering my snacks for pickup right before the movie so that I can just walk in and grab them - no need to stand in line. Some of the theater rooms have tables that swivel out from the chairs - this is gamechanging for when you have multiple snacks to hold. I don't think all the rooms have them though, but it was a very pleasant surprise the first time I saw them.
