This review is based solely on the Pedal City "bar/ garden" not the trolley ride. I have yet to experience using one of Pedal City's self-driven trolleys around town- I hope to this upcoming summer. The outdoor space here is awesome. Very nice patio and it is HUGE. I love the big privacy fencing around the whole place. Honestly, the somewhat run down houses around aren't the greatest of views. They have all sorts of games and I have enjoyed some ping pong outside. They also sell a limited menu of food- which is awesome while Sunday Funday-ing with your friends. I have heard raves about their Bloody Mary bar and I look forward to trying that out veryyyyy soon. My latest experience was this past Friday. Friendly bartenders and they had a DJ at 11pm. It was great to have some music but not the whole "club vibe". We were able to casually enjoy ourselves up at the bar- which is a rarity to sit at a bar rail anywhere downtown on a Friday night. They have an extensive list of bottles/can domestic and craft beer! It way exceeded my expectations. Tons of liquor as well. Although you won't be getting fancy craft cocktails- their prices make drinking a jack and coke here a way better experience than other places downtown. Overall, I am a fan! Can't wait to have many more fun times at Pedal City coming up.

The bread is served room temperature. This leads you to conclude, at first bite, that the bread is a bit dry and stale. The bread is thick and dense. It does has a drier taste but it isn't dry. There is a good beer flavoring present. The honey butter was fun. The butter chunk was thicker and hard. The honey was drizzled over the top with possibly a little cinnamon accent. You had to work a little to get the ratio and spread you want. The beer battered mushrooms are still good. The medium sized mushroom is covered in a thick and crispy batter. There is a slight beer taste in each large mushroom. The mild horseradish dipping sauce was a nice compliment. We also ordered the rib tips. This is a small dish that is packed with lots of flavor. The crispy garlic chips were unique and tasty. The garlic is overpowering and crisp tastes slightly burnt. The honey BBQ sauce is delicious - mop it off the plate delicious! The sauce is thick and sweet. It has a slightly strong BBQ spice flavor. The jalapeño rings are well cooked and soaked up the BBQ glaze nicely. While tasty the jalapeño rings were slightly spicy to taste. We did order the ricotta gnocchi again. It was delicious the first time we ordered it. It was outstanding again. The gnocchi is freshly made and soft but slightly firm to cut. The ricotta gives the dish a slight cheese flavor. The tomato based sauce is smooth and moderately thick.
