I made a six-hour drive to The Clyde Theatre for the Ryan Adams Heartbreaker 2025 Tour, my second show of Ryan's in two days. So, yeah, I had high hopes, being a repeat concert attendee. This was my first time at The Clyde, and while the drink from the bar missed the mark--zero flavor and nothing like the picture on the menu--it was the only hiccup in an otherwise smooth night. I couldn't bring myself to drink the "Easy Tiger" (the only reason I bought it was because it was Ryan-themed, honestly) because it was sooo bad (deduction of star for this reason). When the lights dimmed and Ryan Adams took the stage, the sound wrapped around me, filling every corner of the space with his signature, aching voice. I won't go on too long about the sound, though--it's a Sweetwater Sound building and a Ryan Adams collaboration. The sound had no choice but to be tight, clean, and alive. Security was present but relaxed, letting the night unfold without being a distraction, something I have seen security be at other venues. Parking was easy--probably the closest I've ever been for a Ryan show. Like literally right outside the front door. What is this!? I can't leave out the art in the bathroom--unexpected and quirky, a small touch that speaks to the venue's attention to detail. I'd return to The Clyde without hesitation. It's a space that supports live original, soulful, introspective, haunting music with ease. Next time, I just hope the drink tastes as good as the show sounds. read more

Overall...not a good experience and I will not come back here for another concert/event. The seats were small and positioned tight to each other. Additionally the seats are hard plastic and not comfortable. Couple this with wide bottom people whose rear ends spill onto my seat...not a comfortable experience. I would much rather go to another venue that specializes in comfort that do the Clyde again. On the positive side...buying tickets was easy. There was lots of parking close to the door. The facility is very attractive. The bar looked like a fun place. The show was excellent. The lightning and sounds were very good! The security lady was not friendly. All business - get in the door. The ushers were nice and full of smiles. Very kind. I was actually mildly offended by the security team that was "pushing" us out the door. We waited for a lot of the crowd to clear as it was a packed show. We stepped into the aisle as we were the last of the crowd leaving. These two thug-type Gestapo looking man stared us down. Every step we. Iced forward - they moved. It felt like they were crowding and pushing out the door. His forbid I had to go back to my seat to retrieve a left item. Again...the show and facility were nice. The close seating and security people made the experience not worthy of repeating! read more

We have been to the Clyde Theatre for several concerts now. Afterward, we have slipped into the bar/lounge area for drinks, light appetizers And to see the end of the last set of whoever is playing in there. This is a great concert venue. The acoustics seem to be good, seating is reasonably comfortable and concert prices are fait The concerts we have seen have been really good - Beach Boys Tribute Band, and a couple of others. Tickets are easy to buy online - including seat selection. Food and drinks are fair food stand in performance area, to really good - bar/restaurant. I would recommend this place for both concerts and for the bar area which has live music, and, so far, no cover or minimum. All staff with whom we have come in contact have been very friendly and helpful. read more

We bought tickets in Early 2026 for Tom Kiefer. We could not wait for the date. We had front row seats right side. We get there and it's an obstruct view. Could not see all the band due to the curtain. I honestly felt cheated. This was not a good night. Probably would not go back. read more

Travelled to the Clyde Theatre in Ft. Wayne for a one day road trip, to see some great live music - 10,000 Maniacs! This is a fantastic medium sized theater venue for live music and the acoustics were surprisingly great! A spacious and well lit stage gave the band plenty of room to move & perform. Comfortable padded seats were the folding style connected into solid rows. Easy entry with plenty of open doors, and ample staff to check tickets. No waiting at all. Adjacent to the theatre is a bar known as The Club Room. If you don't want to go that route, the theatre concession also sells from a well stocked bar, and also has snacks. After the show, theatre staff handed out small posters commemorating the show with the date of the performance printed on them, and the band came out to the lobby to chat with fans, take photos and sign autographs. This give it a distinctive feel and was definitely a welcome addition to the experience! read more

Incredible venue for a concert. The staff is always so nice as well, DJ runs the place perfectly.

Beautifully renovated theatre complete with interior (inside the concert hall itself) and exterior (inside the lobby) bars, ample free parking, very clean bathrooms, a smoking section (outdoor patio, not off premises) and a truly cool staff and personnel! Service was friendly and exceptional! Also, there is a restaurant attached to the venue. The doors lead from the outside parking lot (you are not required a Clyde Theatre event ticket to eat there!) and also right into the main lobby of the theatre. Snack foods, hot pretzels, nachos,etc are also available at the bars, along with non-alcoholic drinks. My son and I attended a concert here in December 2023. It was our first time ever to the Clyde Theatre. It will not be our last! First time visitor at the Clyde. I do not know the history behind the building. The inside was quite new in appearance. It is a smaller venue and we were there for the Diamond Rio event. From what I could tell, there is an attached bar that is serving fancy potions and food. There is an entrance just for them. Inside it is more of a concert venue with collectors Tee shirts and CD's. Metal detectors were every where and set on the sensitive side. Once inside you could get sodas or various beers as well as limited appetizers. Acoustics were pretty good In the same group of buildings was a Mexican Restaurant. No charge for parking. Easy egress once the concert was over. read more

I'm glad this venue came to the Fort. It is standing room only unless you are a VIP. There isn't a bad view in the Clyde. You can get really close to the stage or they have an area that a concert goers can put their drink on a long wooden counter top. They sell beer, hard cider, soda and water. I didn't see any glass bottles being sold as it looked like everything was out of a can. The Clyde has recycling bins throughout the venue. The bathroom was nice and big. The sound system was awesome and some of the band members walked into the audience which was super cool. The parking lot was completely repaved and brand new lines painted. The security staff looks through any bags and also waves you down with a metal detector. The Clyde is a great venue and is a fantastic addition to Fort Wayne. Check it out! read more

First time going last night. I had an amazing time seeing Gojira. Clean restrooms, lines went quick, amazing sound. I'm not going to take away from the stars, but I want aware it was an all ages show. The 4 kids behind us said they were all in HS & a guy kept coming over& handing them beer. They got increasingly more obnoxious & pushy. With that, I will only be back if I ADORE the band, because my anxiety can't handle 17 year olds shoving me out of the way. read more

Fantastic venue. Fort Wayne hasn't had anything like this is the time that I have lived here (8 years), and everything is top notch. The sound is great, the lighting is great, and the facility is awesome. Three bars, great sight lines everywhere. The parking lot has been completely repaved, with LED lighting. This is a world-class venue. It feels like The Vic or the Metro in Chicago, but way cleaner and newer! The Staff is great, the drink prices are great, and the list of bands that they have already lined up fills a major void in the FW music scene. There isn't a lot around it yet, but there will be. Great place to see a show. It's very clean and has a fantastic throw back feel to it. We were able to find parking pretty easily, but we attended a relatively small show. I would definitely recommend using a ride share just to make things easier for yourself. They also had alcohol and other drinks for sale. The concert area was really spacious. The concert I attended was general admission and standing only. We had lots of options as to where we could stand. As an added bonus, the rear of the theater is constructed on a riser several feet higher than the front. We stood up there and could easily see the stage. I recommend going here for a show. We will definitely be back. Even the bathrooms were spotless ... and this was a thrash metal concert. Oh, and the security personnel were great! They were very friendly and totally respectful. If all security acted like them, it would be fantastic. read more

I would like to start this review by stating that once you are inside the venue you cannot walk out and come back in. It is reasonable and it makes sense. My husband went to a concert there and things went sideways and he left before he even got to see the opening band. I sent an email requesting a refund, which I wasn't sure we would get. We got the refund and a personal email from Gregg. He wanted to speak with us about what happened and to see how he could go about making sure it didn't happen again. We met with him and DJ (head of security). They were kind and personable. Gregg went above and beyond to make the situation right. Keep in mind, he didn't have to reach out. They (him and DJ) didn't have to take time out of their day to speak with us. Whomever had the insight to hire Gregg and DJ, kudos. They take customer service to the highest level and deserve raises. We went from saying that we would never go to The Clyde again to lifelong patrons. All because Gregg understands what the music experience is all about. Because of Gregg and DJ's kindness. The whole staff is kind and a direct reflection of their bosses. I cannot recommend The Clyde enough for concerts, events, or just anything they do. read more

The journey tribute band "Revelation" played an unforgettable show to an impressive sized crowd. The stage was huge and the lights and sound truly amazing. As I was summoned by the clergy, I drove the 150 miles from Columbus, Ohio to The Clyde Theatre to see Ghost on 5/29/2018. Through many back roads, I made it to Fort Wayne. Despite being in the middle of nowhere, The Clyde Theatre definitely stood out. Pros: -Free parking (though it's in a shopping center so I'd get there at least a half hour before doors open to ensure you get a spot) -Fair prices and fair selection for drinks. Compared to other places, it was pretty cheap. $6 for a bud light, $3 for water -Sound was excellent -No bad views anywhere -Clean. Might be because it is so new but I hope they can prevent this place from becoming trashy or dingy. It really struck me how clean the whole place was. -Staff was pretty cool and engaging. Cons: -Couldn't really find any. If I lived closer, I'd definitely come here again. read more

Glad they brought this old movie house back. Sad the Mexican restaurant next door is no longer in business. They probably sold it to Clyde Theatre the property next door. My husband and I just saw Lee Brice at the Clyde Theatre this past weekend. It was great! The sound was awesome! When I realized it was standing room only, I thought it was going to be packed - like shoulder to shoulder. However, it was very spacious and comfortable, especially due to the fact that the show was sold out. We weren't packed in like sardines and we had room to dance. It was very fun! I absolutely love this place , went to a concert last night to see the magnificent Brian McKnight!!! Yay . Never been to the Clyde but heard good things. And it checked out .. it was a smooth & Easy scan your ticket and get in .. information was right at the door for up coming events .. a quick tap & go email to sign up for free tickets . Another guy was there to check your ID to make sure you were of age to drink .. than placed a nice green band on your arm .. next up the bar !!! Pretty cool about 4 ladies talking orders and getting drinks to you fast .. nice open area for pictures.. going into the theater, it was nice & open .. the seats had the numbers & row in the back of the chair for easy access . Only thing chairs were close so not not much arm room but that's nothing when your sitting next to your Homies. Lights cameras action they were right on time with the show !!! The show was Great looking forward to the next one . But wait the Clyde also have a Club room with food & live entertainment!!!! Yesss that was sooo nice . Something for the more season adults drinks & food was good , very good prices . And to find out they have jazz every Wednesday.. my new bestie.. so happy the south side of town is getting some new Things. I want everyone to go show some love for the Clyde.. I will be back on Wednesday until the next concert.. last but not least the service was great !! We moved from room to room & our server found us .. Live music at the Clyde is a great night! The food is great, drinks are quickly replenished, and again, the music is just wonderful.

After a good concert they locked everyone out of the theater when it is literally negative degrees out! And they didn't care if people were freezing or not. And I'm from Fort Wayne and pretty used to the weather but after "custom service" 100% will never be back. read more

Went to see The Used last night, 5/12/18. This is the best venue I have ever had the pleasure of visiting in order to see one of my favorite bands. The staff was extremely friendly, the drinks were cheap, the bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the stage area was very wide open. It wasn't even too hot or humid, which a lot of venues tend to get. Plenty of parking. Seriously, this is the best venue ever. read more

The show we attended, the lady running security was rude to patrons (although not to us personally) and they were basically frisking seventy year olds, which seemed a tad excessive. But the show (Mersey Beatles w/Ron Dante) was a great experience and the venue is a real plus for Fort Wayne. read more

I just wanted to say that as a person with a disability the marketing coordinator and the box office manager have shown me outstanding customer service. I know I was just one of many thousands to attend the concerts but the staff made me feel special and was very accommodating. The ADA host was also very friendly and accommodating. I much prefer venues that are GA standing room only, and I'm so glad that this exists 20 minutes from my house! No more driving 3 hours to Cleveland for shows! Tickets aren't outrageous, very fair actually, unless you buy VIP. Staff is friendly, nice variety of drinks at the bar. My fiancé and I saw Badfish here, and we had a great time! I'm surprised and so happy that bigger named bands are making an appearance in Fort Wayne! Can't wait to be back for the Flaming Lips in August! read more

Acoustics great, sight lines are good, but 30-40 minute lines for the bars is awful. They could make so much more money if they had a more efficient process, sad that 9 million dollars didn't get them a smarter design. read more
