Instead, they lifted the canopy about 5-6 feet off the ground and completely butchered the natural shape of the trees. Anyone with real knowledge of tree care should know that magnolias are not meant to be pruned this way. Decades of growth were ruined in literally 5 minutes. I was honestly heartbroken when I saw the result -- I literally cried. These trees were one of the most beautiful parts of my property, and now they look unnatural and stripped. This kind of damage cannot simply be undone. To be fair, the tree removal itself was handled adequately, but the trimming work on the magnolias showed a serious lack of knowledge, judgment, and care. I deeply regret trusting them with trees that took decades to grow.
