The bartender told me the back was closing soon but I could order a drink inside. The inside bartender looked like she was still setting up so I waited for her to finish and remove the stanchions. She never did and I just sat in booth for about 15 minutes. After not seeing any staff, I just walked out. Would not make another trip here. Also the address does not match what's online.

(History lesson over) although prior to Ballys it was Jack Lalane . So I will tell you why I renewed for another year. LA fitness, especially this one keeps evolving. They have a big green artificial turf with trx bands, kettlebells, sleds. Big tires, jump boxes and ropes to keep up with the small boutique type places. Their weight area is superb and the establishment is well lit and machines are in good working order. People are friendly here. I go at a much later time than most. I get in and out in 30 minutes. I wipe down my machines and there are supplies around to assist us. The pool and basketball courts are also open. Check the hours before you go. This LA fitness closes at 9pm on Fridays (prolly a holidaze thing)

The other issue is some people taking their pet into the classes. Some people have allergies. This guys claims it is an animal support pet then they should stay in the back to be mindful of those with allergies. She's very rude and spiteful by barging into class before the prior one is over and puts mats down and gets confrontational. Clarification is needed. I received clarification that LaFitness allows service dogs but not emotional support dogs. All of a sudden her Yorkie is a service dog. I feel it is up to the management of the individual facility to take it upon their discretion to ask what service the pet does and to be respectful of the space between guests when working out.

The view of the pool from the gym is a nice touch, and the space itself is thoughtfully designed with both a kids' area and a full size pool for laps.
