These swimming critters ranged from $15.00 to north of $450.00. I knew that she would like multi-colored fish and this store had many options. The Tomini Tang and the PJ Cardinal were cool looking fish. They also provide fish tanks and accessories including fish food and cleaning products. Love these mom & pop stores which give better one on one customer service than the corporate pet shops.

Squeeze right by me without saying hello welcome to the store, anything. No friendly face there. The next appears to be a younger guy who approached me relatively quickly asking me if he could help and he did. I did see a lot of aquarium tanks to the point that is very cramped in there but all the tanks the water looks nice and clean and they must have almost every kind of fish there is LOL. I have a tank that has not had any maintenance in a long time and they tested my water for a dollar and told me my problems and then helped me find an inexpensive test kit to check up on it also told me how I will fix it. The cat was reasonably priced so I bought it and I was grateful for the advice. It might just of been a bad day for the other gentleman but I would not want to go to the store and find them to be the only one to take care of me and I would probably shop more if the younger guy was there alone LOL. It does not appear to me, although I'm in no way an expert for sure, they had a lot of things to sell other than these fish because I didn't see many isles you can walk down and browse for things to put in your aquarium like even basic things like thermometer. I guess I'm intimidated to go back there because it looks like the grumpier man in my opinion just talk to a friend of his once in a while but does not engage customers and it looks like you really have to know a lot of things before you go in there so you can ask some thing intelligently knowing what you want. It is the polar opposite of Petsmart or pet supermarket who are really friendly but don't have a lot of expertise and nothing really elaborate

For example, I was there yesterday, and they had this koi variety of either mollies or platies. I forget which. I was so tempted, honestly. They have a lot of especially beautiful live bearers in there, in fact. They also have great bettas. Just absolutely incredible. And, while I wish they kept the majority of their males in larger containers, the water seemed clean and the fish seemed healthy. Anyone who's interested in getting a giant betta, especially, should check this place out, as they had a lot of giant bettas. Anyhow, this is definitely the best lfs in the NMB area. If you live in the area and you don't wanna go far, this is the place to go. They have highly reasonable prices, plus their employees are much nicer and more knowledgeable than they are at the other lfs I've been to in the area.

I also enjoy coming in and finding other aquarium lovers are inside chatting and sharing photos of their tanks. It has a great community feel. I really like getting live rock from them. They have a large amount that you can look at and really get the pieces you want for a good aqua scape. They also have a good selection of supplies, live sand, and they have fritz turbo start which is an essential in my book. It is a great store and I plan on continuing to shop there.

All of their animals were obviously taken very good care of, and both of the workers in there were very sweet and helpful the whole time answering all of our questions that we had.
