This place is my go too! The team there is top tier. They were too good at my job my wine and water were never empty. I kept trying to finish both glasses but was forced to tap out. Their pizza!!!!!! NYC has always had the best pizza but...... The tenderonni pizza gives NY as a whole a run for the title. The flavor and then add that hot honey it is next level. Please don't call me a traitor I love NY pizza but this tenderonni pizza is my favorite pizza. I have driven to CT just for it! The ambiance is open and welcoming. I always sit at the bar for the high seating and view of the live music.

Fortina has always been a favorite of mine in Stamford for larger group dinners. The food is always delicious and is fairly priced for the area. We started with a fried calamari and burrata toast for the table. The calamari was delicious as it was a great mix of rings and the little mini octopus. The burrata toast was my favorite although it should be a larger portion for the price and really is not ideal to share with even two people. It is the perfect sweet and salty balance. The fig compliments the burrata perfectly and the right amount of crunch and salty comes from the toast. The lemon bucatini pasta is a must try. So glad it is finally back on the menu as it was gone for a good portion of Covid. Their white sangria has more of a mimosa taste to it but is very sweet and savory! Service is generally helpful and efficient. For some reason they don't write down your order and memorize most of it. Which is extremely impressive. There is ample free parking on the street and nearby parking garages.

This view was what we saw for the first 15 minutes of sitting down at this rooftop. First, the fact that a place with $20 cocktails and $14 wine is putting drinks in plastic cups is a red flag. Second, I ordered a martini and the bartender refused to make it with olives because "the olives are at the downstairs bar and it's very far". I have been here for countless happy hours, brunches, and dinners and have never been dissappointed like this. Usually this place has the friendliest service and it's at the very least decent service. However, today we simply had to wait at an empty table, without water on an 85 degree day, no menus, and no utensils. This is unacceptable for a place where I would have (and usually do) spend $75+ per person for dinner. Sick of restaurants in the Harbor Point thinking they can earn business due to the location and lack of competition with a standard (nothing special) menu and subpar service. If I were the waiter I would have introduced myself, provided water, utensils, and menus upon being seated. Then I would've been back within 5 minutes to get in a drink order (we waited way too long). Suffice to say we had a "Mexicue-adjacent" experience at this establishment that I did not expect. We left without ordering anything or eating because the staff at Fortina did nothing to make us feel welcomed, appreciated, or serviced as customers and I'm deeply disappointed that the staff at Fortina think anything that happened tonight was remotely acceptable.

Always a good spot to come when it's warm. They have amazing outdoor seating and a rooftop. We sat inside because we ordered off the happy hour menu which had a great deal on drinks and food. The staff is normally pretty good when you come in. The pizza is always delicious and I loved their white sangria. The mozzarella sticks also are amazing

    Steak and fries

The steak was overcooked, had very little flavor, and took about 5 minutes per bite to chew. The fries were undercooked, poorly seasoned. The shape of the cut of meat was unappetizing, and looked like a turd.

The ambiance of this place was just wonderful! Loved how there's options for outside, rooftop upstairs and downstairs. Every food item we ordered was delicious. Got a bunch of items to share. Aracini, fried meatball, prosciutto arugula pizza, and funghi salami pizza. So good!! I enjoyed my tequila pineapple elderflower drink as well, called full moon. Fast service, and very attentive.

Pasta was inedible. Undercooked, doughy and tasted just bad. The chicken Parm was good. Not sure what happened here.

White Clam Pizza -- A Must-Try Legend Many reviews…read moreconsistently rave that Frank Pepe's clam pie lives up to its reputation. The white clam pizza delivers a punch of clams, garlic, and cheese on that signature thin, char-charred New Haven-style crust -- garlicky, salty, and utterly memorable. It's the pie people seek out when they make a pilgrimage to Frank Pepe's, and some say it's the best pizza they've had in years. The clams are generous and fresh-tasting, the crust is crisp yet chewy, and every bite feels like a perfect balance of sea and oven fire. For seafood lovers and adventurous eaters, this is the pie to order -- bold, classic, and worth the hype. Margherita Pizza -- Simple, Fresh, and my son loved it. While the clam pizza steals a lot of the spotlight, the margherita and original tomato pies are also beloved. The margherita is beautifully simple: ripe tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil with that same irresistible coal-oven char on the crust. It's not as brash as the clam pie, but it's an excellent showcase of quality ingredients done right. Red-sauce traditionalists especially appreciate how Pepe's tomato-forward pies complement the zingier clam slice, making them great to share with a group

The tomato pie was complete bullshit; just an ordinary pizza without mozzarella and some Parmesan sprinkled on top. The sauce was cooked onto the crust and dry. A tomato pie is supposed to have a thick layer of tomato sauce that stands up on its own. And...WTF is up with the way these pies were cut? They took my $50 worth of pizza and hacked it up into strips & squares & bits & pieces. The way you cut a pizza shows respect for the pie. Pepe's failed miserably. No respect for somebody else's food. Look at the pictures...they don't lie. This pizzeria is a legend in its own mind, Frank Pepe; old? Yes! Reliable? Not even close!

The clams were fresh, the crust had that signature char and chew, and I didn't miss the tomato sauce for a second. Judging from nearby tables, though, the red pies are every bit as popular. We grabbed seats at the bar, and that turned out to be part of the fun. The bartender was fantastic and even shared the secret to a perfect Whiskey Sour: dry shake the whiskey, lemon juice, and egg white first to build that silky foam, then add ice and shake again. She also noted that aquafaba--the liquid from canned chickpeas--can create a similar effect for vegan or egg-free drinkers. The cocktail arrived beautifully presented with a real Luxardo cherry and was as good as any craft cocktail I've had - which is sayin' something LOL! The place was packed, the music was great, the energy was infectious, and it was obvious the locals genuinely love Sally's. That's always a good sign, and this place more than lived up to the hype.

The pizza portions and quality are excellent, but we would probably try a few different appetizers on the next visit. Favorite pie was the Calabrian Stinger, since it had a great spice kick! We had the brussel sprouts (would not order again, as they weren't as crispy as hoped) and garlic bread. Next time, will plan to try out the calamari and broccolini.
