We love to frequent this location when visiting family. We knew we would use our gift card we won in a giveaway easily here on their amazing menu options. We got a Cobb salad with house dressing, half mushroom/olive and mozzarella pizza, turkey and cheddar wrap, and meatball sub without cheese. We put the order through online and it was ready and waiting when we arrived from our trip to Cos Cob. The snow provided a great scene through their large windows facing the street and park across the road. They always get the order wrong. Like most places they're raising prices and cutting back on ingredients - putting less sauce on pizzas, changing the honey bbq sauce- which now tastes canned, but still acceptable. So when we order, we now order extra pizza sauce on the pizza or on the side and pay for it - but they always forget to do it or send it. If you call they'll say they'll send some out - but that's 30 more minutes and then the pizza is cold. It also will cost the owner more money in delivery gas at a time when he's clearly cutting corners. Sadly, this is how places go out of business - they cut corners, then get mad when customers notice and, in this case, the customers like the food so much they order and pay for extra stuff to still make the order work - but to no avail. This time, probably the 15th time, once again he said he would send out sauce, I said no the pizza would be cold. He said we're "always complaining" - pointed out he's always sending the order out wrong - typical, not taking responsibility for, once again, sending the incorrect order. He said F*** you and sent the delivery driver back to pick up the food. Oh well. read more

I was shopping for a new Friday/Saturday take out restaurant because I am extremely upset with Pizza Post.. I recently wrote an updated review about the eatery.. I received a menu in the mail regarding Fairfield Pizza so I decided to give it a try . I ordered the chicken finger sub with bacon, cheese lettuce and tomato . It was very good.. fresh and delicious and the price at $12 was refreshing.. the sub is a nice size with just the right amount of inside ingredients.. they give you a good price when you pay with cash, very nice. My only complaint about Fairfield Pizza was it took an hour from online ordering until delivery.. my delivery person was so apologetic and sincere.. I appreciated the remorse and I must say the sandwich was wrapped so that it was still warm. I will most definitely order again..and so nice that they offer a Loyalty Program as well.. I can not say enough about your service and, most importantly, the delivery person. We had just finished a blizzard! We hadn't been plowed out yet and it was cold! We hadn't had power for a day, and yet here was a delivery from Fairfield Pizza (Cos Cob). The person who delivered the food walked through two feet of snow to get it to us! The food was great, but we already knew that. What was so special was seeing that delivery at our door, with a very nice gentleman, who was sure we got our food. I can not thank you enough. I eat here frequently and the pizza and wraps are pretty darn good. Try the Buffalo Chicken pizza and the King's Wrap. Really delicious. They have a small dining area with quick service. The tables are always clean (no crumbs laying around). I've been very satisfied with Fairfield Pizza so far, and I highly recommend them. read more

Tried Fairfield Pizza for the first time. This review is for the pan pizza - it's good & the price is very reasonable. I wanted to give more stars but I'm comparing Fairfield's pizza to another very popular pizza business in town & I like the other company's Sicilian pizza better. As another reviewer (Jen S) commented, the flavor was a little bland but that's not necessarily a negative - some people prefer that. Personally, I prefer spicy and intense flavors. I will definitely order from Fairfield pizza again & give it another try. Compared to the other pizza place I like, Fairfield's delivery service is superior. Domino's has just been elevated... ! If you really like pizza this might not be the place. The review of the wings seem much better, but would not return to find out. Fairfield has been one of our go to's. We rarely get anything to complain about...the people inside are friendly and great, and the food is always earlier than expected. Ordered a calzone for my son (1/2 the size of Arcuris) and steak salad for me. The most disgusting, stringy steak with a grey color. It actually looked like a pile of worms on top of lettuce. It was inedible. 2nd time there the food was awful both times. read more

The pizza is great! I've gotten it several times. The one other thing I got was ravioli, which was simply bad. I wouldn't even know where to start. We took a chance and ordered from here for our son's 4th birthday. Called the day before to determine what we needed people wise for a party with 20 kids and 30 adults. The friendly gentleman advised us perfectly. We had barley any leftovers. Food was great and came exactly as ordered. It arrived at 12:15 on the head and hot just like promised. The pizza was very good and the buffalo and BBQ chicken tenders were spectacular. They also gave us more than ample blue cheese and ranch dips as well as ton of celery. They even brought tons a napkins, plates and plastic utensils. We received many compliments on how good it was. If you ever have a party this place should be considered. I love this place! I've never had a bad meal here, I typically go for lunch during the week - and they're so great! I love the staff, the food is always made exactly to order and they definitely care about the quality of their food and what they serve to customers. Fantastic place to grab a slice and relax! I absolutely love this place. There's great service, fair prices and great food. I just recently tried them for delivery and only waited about 20 min for 3 large pizzas that were steaming hot and I live across town! Everything is always fresh as well. I convinced my work to get catering from them about a month ago, and it's now become the weekly event. Everything is labeled so we instantly know who it's for and again it's always hot and fresh. We have been to Fairfield pizza a few times and it had been good. We ordered a chicken wedge and a pasta dish with chicken tonight. The chicken on the wedge was slightly pink and very chewy. The chicken in the pasta dish was almost a grey color and very chewy, almost looked and tasted like it was artificial chicken. This isn't really the quality of ingredients I was expecting or care to eat. Not so sure I'd give this place another try. read more
