I love the Fortinos at Hwy 27 & Langstaff. The store is big, bright, and clean. The staff are the best. Love Mariam at the salad & fruit bar, Nora, Francesca, the cashier... so many others, too many to mention. The moral is positive. The employees, regardless of the department, always go above and beyond to help. I have been going to this Fortinos since it was a No Frills. I live in Bolton, I have the Fortinos in Bolton, a 10 minute walk away, but I prefer the Fortinos at hwy 27 in Woodbridge. Better prices, amazing staff, and far better layout. I've called the Fortinos in Bolton to order a simple large salad, they are either unable to do it because of a 24 hr policy, or they have too many orders and can't take mine, so then I call Fortinos at hwy 27 & Langstaff they take my order with no issues or excuses. A good Fortinos location. Has everything you want from fresh to go food to your regular and favorites frozen foods. This Fortinos has a big variety of fresh produce and a decent amount of healthy, allergen free and vegan options. It has a big parking lot too, but it's a bit of a pain to try to get back on the main roads from the plaza, especially if you need to turn left. read more

Grocery store pizza is not something I would normally find myself writing about, but Fortino's has a Pane Fresco in house and it is a game changer. Years ago in Thornhill we had a Pane Fresco, but it was just in the wrong location for what it was. My favourite Roman style pizza, homemade soups and wholesome food to go. I loved it for nights when we had to have dinner on the run. Alas it closed and we would get our fix only when passing by the Burlington store. Our last visit to the Burlington store they mentioned that Fortino's now has Pane Fresco. So today my kid and I ventured, not too far from Vaughan Mills mall, in search of Pane Fresco. We were rewarded for those efforts with a great selection of the pizza we love, fresh focaccia and more. There is an area where you can sit and eat and plenty of people there on a Monday. Will definitely return again. One last thing, a tip from the Burlington shop on how to reheat the pizza at home. Use a non-stick frying pan on the stove. Keeps it crispy. read more

This location is always great regarding products, staff very stiff only friendly with their regular clients. I am from Brampton not Woodbridge. My mother and I were at Winners, came over for 2 items, I ran (slowly walked actually) in and picked up soup and a sandwich. The lady at self serve informed me the other item I wanted was at the last aisle, offered to hold my food at her spot and suggested I take a cart since the item I needed was heavy. I didn't, however she was right!, patient , friendly and considerate. I forgot to ask her name however her Spanish accent was beautiful and melodic. We talked for a few moments, all about customer service. She told me her that my compliment made her day!, compliments are earned and free! read more

Fortinos is the closest grocery store near my home. Overall, when I compare grocery stores around the area I have to say when it comes to cleanliness, availability of items and the most convenience-this location would be 5 stars. It has all the amenities of the other locations including my favourite-the bakery, as well as little cafes for the everyday caffeine lover, fries, salads, meats, etc. It truly has the best variety and selection ranging from groceries, to organic foods and even spices and condiments. I have always found that the best part of Fortinos is definitely the setup with the seated areas as it makes it very homely, and this location is no different. This location is located by a convenience store, a dry cleaners and a Pizza Mart so the parking lot fills up really fast. Also I do notice that you have to be quite vigilant when crossing as a lot of the cars do speed by there as was mentioned in another review. I would also have to add that this is the best place to buy fresh flowers and vases to give as gifts. They even wrap it on the spot! The only reason I would have to take off a star is that the prices are outrageously inflated for some items. For cakes, I am willingly to pay more because they definitely have the best tasting cakes in the area however some everyday essentials do tend to be more expensive than the local Walmart or No Frills. read more

This review is based on the Pane Fresco cafe and food services inside Fortinos. I was driving by and wanted to pick up something quick to eat. I was surprised to see the selection of food and space dedicated to sitting down for a meal. They have tables for about 100 people inside and 8-10 tables with umbrellas outside. The prices are reasonable and you can pick from sushi to stir fry and lots of other foods in between. The area is clean and the service is quick. I'll definitely be back for a quick meal in the future and who knows, I might even buy some groceries there. read more

It's your typical Fortinos so if you regularly shop at this chain, you know what to expect. Prices on some items can be ridiculously overpriced, so know your prices before you go in. The fresh food places at the front of the building have great pizza/sandwiches/sushi and soups. The parking lot here is awful. To go in through one set of main doors, you have to cross the laneway where cars turn into the lot off of Langstaff...and they ain't stopping for anyone. The store has put in a stop sign, but cars just wiz through it. I've come close to being hit a few times. I'd recommend using the other set of doors (down by the bank). Very small meat section, huge bakery (fresh breads/rolls). read more

Look....This is your typical loblaws format store. As the other review said, be careful with prices, I've seen things like asparagus sell for triple the price compared to a place 5 minutes away... But seriously great meat selection in my opinion. You can get pretty much everything you want here. The owner is always there at the store. The cashiers are very sweet and I often joke with them. Has everything I need, but the prices are expensive. I often come here to pick up some items after work, but i normally do all of my shopping elsewhere. Great store none the less and the range of items from meat to cough syrup is tough to beat. read more

This is the second time in the last few months that I ordered a pizza and they told me they are sold out of dough and cannot make one. Funny because I went to pay my groceries and saw a man picking up 2 pizzas 30 minutes later and more in the oven. I NEVER complain but this is horrible. I spend over $300 on groceries every week and I am sick of being treated like shit because a millennial is to lazy to make a pizza. I now go to the Queens gate location.
