The store is big and has everything under one roof . It's clean, lots of workers. We were going to the loft and before going in wanted to use the bathroom. The bathrooms are absolutely dirty, no one should use it . Anyways we went for the cooking show , I think it was too pricey . $65 per person . There was only bottle of water on the table , we had to ask for something juice or something to drink . The chef was okay . Food was good we couldn't finish it so brought it home . read more

Decent supermarket, fine to buy most of the grocery items needed for daily cooking. My favorite item there is Hawaiian Kona Coffee - it's probably the coffee beans with the best smell I've ever tried. Also it's convenient that they also have wine/beer available so I could grab some alcohol along with groceries instead of making a separate trip to LCBO. Other food choices are okay but I found them not being amazing. Produces are reasonably fresh. Meat/seafood choices covers the essential needs. But I usually can't expect being able to find some really exotic items here, or some more variety of fun snack choices...that is to say, being able to find Hawaiian coffee there actually surprised me pleasantly :D I usually only visit on early morning on weekend days and I found the supermarket not very busy. Longos sets the bar for other grocery store very high. If I need groceries, Longos is my default choice. This store has been here a short time but I forget what it was like without it. Some people consider Longos to be expensive. And it isn't cheap, of course. However, here you can oftentimes find deals marked down so deep they will compensate for a few cents here and you had to shell out for your groceries. They have a decent organic section, their breads are amazing. One little item I always buy when I go there is Longos spicy asiago artichoke dip. read more

I don't usually visit places on Yelp with $$$ next to it but I made an exception for Longos. It surely feels good to shop along with the riches but all I bought were discounted items. Dining out would be cheaper than buying their pre-packaged items. Prices of fresh produce are reasonable for its quality as long as you stay away from the organic section. Now to their premade meals. If you like rotisserie chicken then Longos has the best I have tried so far. and its on sale $7.99 every Wednesday after 4pm. Another deal that is worth checking out is their $7.99 16" pizza every Thursday after 4pm. I will surely come back for their fresh produce and whatever on sale. read more

Stay away from "Starbucks" this location! Aug 23 /2020- 4:30 pm The staff there I cant remember their name! She was a medium size Female Blonde Barista, not other skinny girl, She wasnt really in a good mood, however there was no lines up and langos was empty of customers, we asked for Nitro drinks she said they dont have any nitro there So I was only thinking for 3 sec to what to get instead and she told me so you want regular coffee ! in a yelling way and frustrated ! I just dont know what we did wrong to make her frustrated. Also we asked for Ice water grande cup she told me "we usually use tall cups! I didnt understand why she told us usually when Im asking for another size overall not good experience and I also didnt find starbucks of this location in Google map and guess they dont care about customer service behaviour there for, their staff can allow them self to yell at customers or put their own rules to serve customers! read more

Great store and with superior customer service. Great prepared foods with daily specials ($6.99 for sushi on Tuesdays, a whole chicken on Wed., large pizza on Thursday - call ahead to order; and wings on Friday). Terrible customer service! "Personal Touch" is a misnomer. The manager is too busy stirring the food at the hot table to notice that many items are out of stock and the milk is expiring. WAKE UP! Fast forward a few years! I really shop here far less than I used to. I have given this store many chances. I am sick and tired of the lack of variety and stock in this store. The items in the cold case (beside the hot foods table) never, ever change. I also want to ask why this store opens at 7 am when they have nothing out yet? I shop on Saturday mornings and there are never any ready-made salads out before 11 am. If I could shop later, I would, but I cannot. I went from doing the bulk of my shopping here to less than half. I heard that sales are way down at this store. Perhaps if the store actually had new items once in a while and also had stock of items, that would help sales? Just a thought. Also, their "Experience" magazine is lovely, but this store never gets in items that the magazine advertises. I have asked, for example, in the bakery where an item featured in the magazine is and they not only do not have it, they have never heard of it! read more

This store can get pretty busy, especially on weekends, but I find they have the best produce and often better pricing on some meat cuts than Sobeys or Loblaws. Even at busiest times I find they keep enough cashiers on, and they are the only ones around who still know how to properly and quickly pack groceries. Don't even have to ask them to pack meat separately from fresh produce. read more

Longos is absolutely what I would consider heaven on earth. I had the pleasure of shopping here recently and can tell you that I was on a "grocery-high" the entire time... unfortunately, my bank account's experience was more of a downer. While the prices at Longos are higher than at other stores in the area such as No Frills, the old adage of you get what you pay for is clearly demonstrated here. This is actually the first grocery store in North America that I have visited where I was able to purchase Bresaola (dried, cured beef) from the deli counter and one which carried a Burrata Mozzarella that is made by a local family and delivered fresh daily. Where else can you get specialty Italian items like this, outside of Italy? That's right... NOWHERE! The weekend we visited, this was also the only grocery store in all of Toronto where I was able to find fresh figs... 4 varieties of which they carried! All that really can be said, and needs to be said, is that if you are foodie and are in Toronto, you need to do your taste buds and stomach a favor and stop into Longos. Just make sure you have over-draft protection on your funds! read more

Selling low quality stuff at high prices is what Longos doing best. Staled fruits, meats and breads fill up the entire store. Customer services is very Italian, that is, very rude! Looking forward to see it close the door and be replaced by another supermarket like Fresh co. or No Frills. read more

A great grocery store. Friendly butcher, good variety of fresh fish including wild caught fish. Price is cheaper than Sobeys. The sale price is good. Not sure why they have a cooked food section. Would like to see more offer in fresh produce read more
