My wife and I have an old Buck 26000 model wood stove that was manufactured in 1979. Well, wouldn't…read moreyou know it, but during the ice storm last weekend the blower motor decided to take a crap on me. I checked around and to my surprise I found this wonderful store in Greenwood which is about an hour drive from me. I called the day before I went and I spoke with a delightful young woman named Anna Davis and she said they had the part that I needed put my name on a list. Last Friday I went up there and I got my motor a new fan blade and a couple other little pieces and brought them back to fix my wood stove. Everything went rather smoothly except for when I tried to put on a cast aluminum junction box cover on the back of the fan. Because the old fan motor was smaller, I had to modify it significantly and unbeknownst to me during the modification and reinstallation I pinched a wire and blew the motor up! Today I called, which is exactly one week later, and went there to meet with Anna again and got a new motor. I came back home and put it in and everything is fine and dandy. It is quite a delight to have a business with people like her that are very accommodating and know what they're doing and they have all the parts for the wood stove that I need. I'll be going back to get some more things in the near future. I highly recommend this place, but I would caution people that if you need gas logs or wood stoves when is freezing cold and snowing is not the time to get them, They had people in there buying gas logs and wanting them installed that day which is not going to happen because there was a huge wait list. Regardless, it's a great store with great people who provide wonderful service

I had a Maytronics pool cleaning machine that needed a cable changed…read more On YouTube there are videos that show that this job can be done in less than ten minutes. However, removing the power cable requires a unique tool (thank you Maytronics!) and I thought that it would be easier to the let experts do this job. It took seven and a half weeks. Messages I left with Buck's Spa and Stove were not returned. Any progress on this project required me to make a visit to the store in person. And, to top it all off, when the machine was finally "fixed" it was reassembled with some of the interior parts missing.

I went again not to long ago with shorts and a t-shirt so all my arm tattoos and leg tattoos were showing. The guy wouldn't even hand me the ammo until I showed him my id I wasn't even at the counter yet! But yeah just know if your not white and you have tattoos don't reach around to quick an maybe tape your id to your forehead...

He came in to buy a gun at 5 pm and the 2 guys mocked him and told him to go to the courthouse or police dept for a background check instead of letting him fill one out there to get a gun. Both guys behind the counter did everything they could to not help a customer even telling him it could take 30 days to get a background back to get a firearm. Then as he walked away they yelled out that its always someone coming in at the last hour mocking the customer and laughing about it. Ill take this incident and submit it to every platform available and the Better Business Bereau. Also SLED had already cleared him to buy a gun so the background would have went through, this was 2 guys an hour from going home who refused to help a customer making a 1000 dollar purchase.
