(Where it's legal to drop off vehicles) The individual (employee) was super hesitant on helping me tow my truck there. He felt like I was "tricking" him into just dropping my vehicle in an unauthorized space. Even though I had a physical confirmation to drop off my truck to be seen the next day. Wasn't helpful at all. Made me feel terrible after a long rough day anyways. He called me rude. Left me stranded and canceled the tow. Beware and find elsewhere.

I had a really unique and difficult call: I had a blowout of one of my (FW) drive tires, and put on…read morethe compact spare, only to have THAT one go flat within a few miles. What made this REALLY difficult was that I was in the middle of the Sierra National Forest (very near my home just outside Yosemite,) about 90 minutes from Fresno, on nearly-impassible dirt and rock roads, heavily rutted. And - when that left front compact tire went flat, I tried to drive out of this remote area on my rim, until I couldn't ford a stream I can normally get over - and the car was stuck. Couldn't move it in ANY manner. Nearly no cell back there, and after hiking about a 10th of a mile to an area where I could get a 911 call out, I reached the Sheriff's Dept, which was able to come find me and drive me home. This was after about seven hours, with dark closing in! With all that said, my insurance company located One-Call Towing a couple days later in Fresno, and they agreed to come out and pull me out of the creek. Dennis and Jesus drove up in their smaller wrecker (due to the twisting, tight roads) but - though I've driven these roads for 25 years, I just could NOT find the location - though I knew where the car had to be! The roads are complex and cherry-stemmed, and after two hours of having these guys follow me around as I tried to find that tiny road spur, I gave up and told them to go home. And I have to say that Dennis and Jesus were incredibly patient with me, despite my having drained their diesel with two hours of a wild goose-chase, all my fault. These guys were great - and beyond their patience and good natures, Dennis followed UP by calling me the next day, and then again a few days later. They were more than willing to come up here and try again - but in the meanwhile, a friend was able to pull me out (HE knew how to get to that little rocky spur road) and I drove it home on the rim. Conscientious, helpful, friendly, patient - and more than able to do the job if ONLY I had been able to find the danged car! And their follow-up in trying to help me out and willingness to return after what I put them through was just amazing. A great company. A great team - and if I ever need towing again, One-Call will be my ONLY call.

I called them back not knowing what his problem was but remaining calm and kind, and he canceled. All because of what turned out a misunderstanding on his part. The result was that my friend and I had to wait an extra hour because a new provider had to come to us. A misunderstanding is one thing, but he wouldn't even let me talk and unilaterally decided to cancel after we'd already been waiting 40 minutes.

He wanted me to pay $250 to tow my vehicle from Parlier to Reedley. Then he insisted on $150 just to pay him for showing up. I apologized to him but he told me he didn't care that I was sorry. I was self employed, in my younger years so I sympathized for him. I offered him $100 but he refused that generous offer and called the police. I thought my offer was very generous because technically, I didn't have to pay him anything because he didn't do anything. The sheriff showed up, talked with us separately. Nothing was accomplished. I insisted that I would pay ONLY $100, which I thought was more than generous. Able finally accepted my offer. Because of Able's angry reaction to me canceling, I would not use or recommend him.
