Michael's Towing saved my bacon recently. I loaned my C230 to my daughter for her summer at Hume Lake. In the pitched blackness of the night, deep in the 2500ft elevation mountainous ranges of the Sequoia national Forest... I found myself without gas - and regretting how I lost the debate with myself in contemplating the yays or nays on if I should get gas or not -knowing that Valero was the last place of civility to purchase this small precious commodity aka petroleum. So...I, a single woman alone sit w/o movement... w/o gas. A passing thought posed in my mind - AAA? Do they... would they... could they do a drive-by and help a girl out hmmm - so my beloved Habibi Iphone was in hand w/ AAA app and fingers doing the walking on entering roadside assistance before any horror movie scenes set in my head b/c of my predicament. Then alone came my Marvel road warrior "Cesar". Cesar was above par in professionalism, arriving ahead of schedule, service, courteous, attentiveness. He's a true asset to the Micheal's automotive team. I'm giving 3 stars as an average of the good experiences I've had in the past and the really bad one I had recently. I noticed a slow-leak flat on my car and called AAA at 3:45pm on a Wednesday, asking them to tow the car to Les Schwab which was going to close at 6pm. AAA said Michael's wouldn't be able to get the car half a mile away to Les Schwab before they closed. I was home and on break from work so I said the next day would be fine. Originally it was "first thing in the morning but the driver will contact you with an ETA." At 7:50am the ETA was 10-20 minutes. At 8:30am, the ETA was another 45-60 minutes. At 9:15am the ETA was 9:35am. They actually showed up at 10am. I get that there are delays and I don't expect everything to be perfectly timed, but from calling it in to getting the tow was literally over 18 hours. Fortunately the car and I were at home and on break from work, but that isn't usually the case when your car betrays you. read more

AAA sent Michael towing to our house he was informed the truck was a 1 ton dually. He told his driver to leave our truck because it would scratch the paint on the bed of his truck at our house. After he left AAA refused to call another tow company because he keeps telling AAA he can do the job the next day because his driver was lacking experienced. The driver stated at our house the truck would fit and could load without any issues. My husband heard the owner give the driver the orders to leave our house without the truck. AAA will not send another tow truck so we our truck is still stranded since 1:30 today. This company is a joke! They believe customers should wait for him indefinitely to get his jobs done! read more

My cousin and I called AAA from King's Canyon because we couldn't find our car keys and thought we had locked them in the trunk of the car. The gentleman who came out from Michael's Towing was exceptionally kind, knowledgable, and quick-thinking! First he helped us get into the car, only to find out the keys were not in there! At that point, he went into problem-solving mode--helping us look for the keys and coming up with alternative plans in case we could not find them. THANKFULLY, with his help, we found the keys at a nearby security station where they had been turned in. What could have been an extremely expensive problem ended up being a relatively harmless blip in our trip, thanks to his kindness and patience. The tow was good, they got there in a timely manner and took it to the shop I wanted with no problems, BUT a invoice was not left and I have been trying to get one for the past 2 months. I need this invoice to be reimbursed by the insurance company. I talked to the girl in the office who said she would have to find it and could only email it to me. I have yet to receive, tried calling again today and no one answered the phone. No getting the invoice is costing me money. read more

The driver was professional and efficient, and even gave me and my family a ride to the airport in Fresno to rent a car. My wife was in a car accident on Saturday. My wife talked to the adjustor and he said to have the vehicle towed to Kings Auto Body. She asked the driver from Michael's towing to take it to Kings Auto Body but the driver said that Kings Auto Body is closed for the weekend. But that first thing come Monday morning her vehicle will be towed there for repair. Fast forward to Wednesday we thought our vehicle was being repaired. Instead we get a call from Kings Auto Body asking us where our vehicle is. Because they received all the info from our insurance but have yet to receive the vehicle. I call Michael's towing and they gave us some spiel about how normally people want to talk to their adjustor first before it gets towed for repair. So, they were waiting on a call from us to get it towed. Even though my wife was assured by their driver that it would get towed Monday morning. Now the repair has been delayed 3 days and now we have to continue spending money on a rental for 3 more days. Thanks Michael's towing for dropping the ball on this one. read more
