Not even 5 minutes down the highway my car starts making awful noises and stops accelerating suddenly. I tried to make it to the off ramp near the roundabouts and nearly got hit. Then my car completely shut down between the two roundabouts. Two guys from valvoline came out to check it, and sure enough all the oil was gone. When my brother came out to tow my car for me we took photos while it was lifted, and the gasket for the oil filter was put on over the old one. It is 100% Valvoline's fault. The manager tried to tell me it was a "part defect." If I hadn't had my brother there with me I'm certain they would have tried to push it under the rug to avoid blame when it is absolutely their fault. My car is only two years old with only 30,000 miles on it. This is absolute BS...I understand mistakes but it's not as if they over cooked my steak at a restaurant, this could have gotten me killed on the highway. And on top of that I'm out of a car for who knows how long because someone couldn't do their job correctly. Absolutely ridiculous. It's under investigation and I've filed with claims. But just wanted to warn everyone NOT to go to Valvoline on Main Street in BG if you like having a running car. I was getting ready to head to Michigan today to visit a friend and thought I'd be safe and get my oil changed first. Instead I nearly got in an accident on the highway and have a blown up car. Save yourself the trouble and don't go here. Clearly none of them know how to do their job.

To put it frankly, I would send my grandmother to Speck Sales which I feel is the highest level of praise possible. Every time I take a vehicle to this tire shop I see the owners working hard to serve costomers. They are between the shop and the front desk each day ensuring that things are being done right. I feel as though family operated businesses such as Speck Sales are becoming few and far between and I garuntee their prices will compete with if not beat the larger tire shops!
