It was on the higher end, cost-wise, compared to others in town but well worth it and it went well. I also got two very small cavities filled here. One cavity I had awhile and instead of getting worse, it stayed the same for multiple years until I finally decided to get it drilled and filled at Rubio Dental. Like the cleaning, the cost was a little higher than other local places. I also had another filling done to close a gap between an implant and a tooth that chipped, where food kept getting stuck. Unfortunately, I must say, however basic both of the fillings were, I had to have one of the two fillings redone at another dentists. The redo was in Asia. With this said, I'm not sure I'd recommend this clinic. It's hard finding a trustworthy clinic in Mexico. Maybe if I would have asked them to fix their work but I never bothered. It should be fine for simple stuff, I just don't have as much confidence in their work as I'd like. I must say, however, they didn't over-recommend treatment to line their pockets, like many American dentists have in my experience. I think your experience will vary. Very nice clinic, nice staff and atmosphere, I'm just disappointed they didn't do well enough on one filling and it had to be redone.

Got charged $250 for a service that was quoted $1,600 in the states for example. Second of all the people are amazing. Everyone from the dentist, to the office staff is so incredibly friendly and informative it makes any decision making easy and clear. The dentists will tell me exactly what they see and what they're doing (English is great by the way), and they'll even ask me if I have preferences or what I would like to prioritize. As well as that, they will give me suggestions on what they think and overall it's a very involved experience. I've been here multiple times in the past month and every time it's been a great experience to where I'm almost looking back to going to the dentist

I was initially very anxious about going to Mexico for dental treatment. I read every website and…read morewatched every YouTube video I could find. A neighbor recommended LOVAL clinic so I decided to go for it, we live on the Phoenix area so it was not that far of a drive. My wife and I woke up at 5 am and headed to the border, we were instructed to call the office before we crossed and they would have a car waiting for us. I was so nervous that I forgot to call- when we crossed the border my phone didn't work! We all have read the stories of the guys trying to get you to go to a dentist office and how they pressure you, etc. One of these runners comes up to me and he said you look really nervous how can I help you? I explained my phone didn't work and we needed to call the office. He pulled out his phone and dialed LOVAL and spoke to the receptionist and had the car come get us, never asked for a penny in helping us. Once we arrived to the office everyone was so pleasant. First I went to a consultation with Dr. Vanessa, I was ready to say that I do not want a deep cleaning and I do not need any unnecessary services, but her first question was what do you want done today, I had recently been to the US dentist and knew exactly what I wanted- an extraction and two implants. They had to do a CT scan and I knew this ahead of time, because that is how they see how much bone you have for the implant. All of this took 10-15 min tops. Then Dr. Lopez called me back to the back office where he placed two implants and performed an extraction. Honestly, I didn't feel much they deadened the area very well. I Hate going to the dentist and getting implants is not fun. This was not pleasant nor a walk in the park by any means, but it was exactly the same as in the US. To be honest, I would have opted for nitrous in the US. Next, I went for a follow up CT scan (no charge for the second one), placement looked good and I was sent to the waiting area with an ice pack. Ice had never felt so good, the receptionist asked if we wanted the pharmacy to deliver the medicine to us in the waiting area, we said yes and the meds were in our hands within 10 minutes. The cost was about $60 and it probably would have been cheaper to visit the purple Pharma at the border but it was fine and super convenient. Lastly, the car took us to the border. We asked to be dropped off short of the border so we could visit some of the merchants and explore briefly before we crossed over. We were home by 4 pm. This experience was really eye-opening for me because it was the same as going to the dentist in the US- no difference! My anxiety and worry we're all for naught. The Mexican people were so friendly and nice, no one is there to make you uncomfortable, they want you to come back. Honestly, with the pickup and drop-off service plus the Pharma delivery, you could take probably 25 steps in Mexico to walk across the border and then immediately back across. I thought that was really cool and something that I had not read anywhere. If you do this you will be cheating yourself of talking to the locals and seeing how friendly everyone is and miss out on cheap souvenirs! I highly recommend LOVAL!

I had work done on all 4 corners of my mouth and when I left my teeth never felt even again. He botched 3/4 fillings and because of that I had to return 3 times!!! On the 3rd time he had a "Root Canal specialist" come in and tell me it wasn't the tooth that was hurting that needed work it was another. I got really upset with them and completely lost their trust. I ended up going somewhere else where they did confirm it was the tooth that was hurting that needed a root canal. The 3rd time I went back they even wanted to charge me just because I sat on the chair. I argued that and ultimately they ended up letting me go. Do yourselves a big favor and stay away from this place or else your nightmare may be bigger than mine. In the end it cost me more than just going to a Professional in the first place. Don't waist your time don't take chances. P.S that place was empty the 3 times I went there in 2026. I think everybody already knows.

Arce claimed expertise in the type of implants I had, but the dentures he made were crooked and poorly aligned. When I pointed this out during the wax fitting (which exists precisely so adjustments can be made), he tried to gaslight me, saying it was my smile that was crooked. When I refused to accept them, he became insulting and argumentative before reluctantly agreeing to alter them. He'd already charged me cash up front through a pushy assistant, then rushed the job because he had family matters, leaving me stranded with my old dentures hacked apart and unusable. I had to drive home hundreds of miles in discomfort, realizing I was nothing to him but a source of money. When he finally returned, Arce botched the fitting completely--he couldn't even align the dentures to the implants. He "fixed" it with crazy glue, calling it a "dentist's trick." The dentures were worthless, and I was out thousands. Thankfully, while waiting for his return, I visited other clinics and found a real professional: Dr. Daniel Balderrama at the Dental District Clinic. He immediately recognized Arce's incompetence and started over, restoring my faith in Algodones dentistry. There are hundreds of dentists in this small town--some excellent, many not--so take the time to compare, ask questions, and read reviews. If you value your health and money, avoid Arce and his so-called "Smile Shoppe."
