Fortune Cookies was my go to Chinese Takeout choice before COVID. Once COVID hit, I had a couple of bad meals. I am happy to report that they have returned to their former glory. Fortune Cookies has the best shrimp dishes of any Chinese restaurant in the area! The shrimp are large and they don't skimp on the quantity of them. Okay. Have to admit the aesthetic is 1980's fast food Chinese, and the signs are horrible. BUT the food is delicious. The teriyaki beef sticks have a ton of meat on them and are sticky and saucy, the house lo mein is delicious with a lot of meat and the orange chicken (not on the menu, but just ask for it and they'll make it) is the best we've ever had, crispy, crunchy, saucy, sticky, and full of flavor. Do not order from here. I unfortunately picked up the food and didn't check it 1/3 of the food was overcooked and inedible. Unfortunately I ordered through GrubHub and couldn't get a refund -- because the restaurant wouldn't approve it- even though I sent pictures I'd the burned food. The best was a child answered the phone when I called the restaurant directly. The child interpreted to whoever, and they refused to give a refund just a reorder of the food. I relented. Guess what, they never showed up. I called GrubHub again and yet again complained, receiving a refund for the one meal. Never again. read more

Not the greatest. The crab rangoons were ok, small sesame chicken bites and pfr was just ok. No utensils or soy sauce provided. However it was close to where we were shopping and the daughter and family were super nice and kind. read more

Save yourself the aggravation and do NOT order from here. they forgot 2 items when we ordered delivery, and then yelled at me when I asked for a refund. Some of the best Chinese I've ever had. It's a little pricey, but you get more than other places. I got the General Tso combo, which came with two chicken wings and two cheese wontons on top of the regular rice and egg roll. I don't usually like egg rolls, but ate everything. The General Tso was spot on and actually spicy and delicious, and the fried rice was done correctly (not just yellow rice with canned vegetables) and had fresh fried ingredients. Great service and friendly staff who all welcomed me when I came in. The presentation of the food was great. They have a to-go bento-like container which separates everything. Overall was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be going back very soon. read more

Never again. Put my order in in-person. Sat in the truck, went back in 10 minutes later (after paying) and was told I didn't order anything. Showed them the receipt. Was rudely told to wait another ten minutes. So i did. I come back in and they said my "girlfriend" already took my order. I tried to explain that that didn't happen. Then they WALKED TO MY TRUCK TO SEE IF I HAD ANYONE IN THE CAR then still refused to give me my order telling me I was a liar and that I took the food already. Only when I told them I was calling the police is when they finally gave me my order. Language barrier or not, this is disgusting and unacceptable. Never again will I go there and I will be sure to tell everyone I know to never go there. read more

The food was just okay. Over priced for what we got. They delivered quickly but, no napkins or forks or plates (first time we didn't receive any utensils). And to top it off THERE WERE NO FORTUNE COOKIES :( read more

Probably the worst takeout food I've had in awhile. The actual garlic beef was essentially mushy beef slop with more random vegetables than meat and the beef ended up giving me food poisoning. They also charge an outrageous delivery fee (plus slow delivery) so I ended up paying quite a bit for my food poisoning. I will never order from here again and recommend you do the same. read more

I placed a delivery order that arrived 20 minutes early. I ordered Kung pao chicken and chicken lo mein. The lo mein was dry and tasted like it had been sitting all day. The Kung pao left a rancid taste in my mouth and smelled like it was on the verge of going bad. I guess that's what you get from a 2.5 star establishment? read more

This is my favorite Chinese food take out place in the area. The staff is always super nice to my family and our orders have always been perfectly fulfilled. The menu is almost identical to the other restaurants in the area, however the pricing and staff keeps our family coming back again and again! read more

Nope, used to be great when they opened. This seems to be a theme in the area. A lot of the local chinese places will either fluctuate in quality, or just nose dive a year or two after the doors open. I would have to say avoid, staff is very polite if that helps. read more

I've been here several times and never had a bad experience. The food is always good. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is very clean. Personally, the price is relatively average for the quantity and quality of the food. The portions were a little bit bigger than what other restaurants in the area give out. Fast Delivery (which included plenty of utensils, fortune cookies, and sauce packets) and well priced for the area. Sweet and Sour Chicken, Moo Shu, and Lo Mein were excellent. Only complaint was the egg rolls were over cooked and extremely dry. Edit: They've since fixed their egg rolls, but the delivery has been lackluster the last two orders (that were put in hours before hand and were both about 40 minutes later than confirmed for). Like I am not picky at all but when the dumplings remind me of dog food.... the crab Rangoons are dry, the fatty general Taos..... the tasteless pad Thai.... omg I just could believe how bad this would turn out to be. Great food - the place was clean and accommodating. Don't have brown rice, but everything else was good. We got food for 8 people with sesame chicken, tofu and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, pork fried rice, steamed vegetable dumplings, shrimp and vegetables, and the chocolate fortune cookies! I ordered delivery from Fortune Cookies last night because I was crazing Chinese food. The delivery was relatively fast for a Wednesday night, but I was extremely disappointed with the food. My general tso's chicken was not crispy at all but rather soggy chicken in a sauce. The vegetable fried rice lacked flavor. I will say they do make pretty good fried dumpling. Over all, I was unimpressed and will think twice about allowing Fortune Cookies to satisfy my Chinese food cravings. read more

I am definitely a fan. We stopped in for pick-up. Got some veggie dumplings, tofu with mixed veggies, and broccoli/garlic sauce. Really yummy all around, though I think the dumplings would have been better fried. Loved the gingery sauce though. Chocolate fortune cookies were a nice treat after. And, they deliver to Clinton!!!! We will be back to try what looks like an expanded menu -- mu shu vegetable and general tso's tofu next time!!!! read more
