My sons and my husband all go- everything from a buzz to brushed back long hair that is really too curly to be worn that way but he won't go more often- they get it done and he looks good. I'm pretty picky about who does my haircuts. I used to have a room mate who would cut my hair whenever I needed it, but when I moved away I needed to find some other place. Well, Bradley at Forty Ten is now my barber. I've gone through a few bad hair places, but these guys really know their stuff. I've never had a bad cut here and I can honestly say that I'll always return. Every time you come here they'll give you a great haircut and a good shave. I actually don't even live anywhere near this place, but I make the drive whenever I need a haircut because of the fact that I know I won't find the same service or quality anywhere else. I've been coming here for 3 or 4 years. Great barbershop for guys. I always get treated well and I always am tight after. All the barbers are great guys and are masters of their craft. It's the best barbershop banter I've ever received at any other shop. The entertainment value is just as great as the service. Forty Ten? Spot on. Just go. Small shop with 3-5 barbers available. Easy booking online in advance. Went to website at noon and had a guaranteed spot at 12:30. CAN'T BEAT THAT. Never fun going somewhere where some days you have a five minute wait and others its over an hour. (At least on a weekday lunch break.) As for the service, Ryan was helpful and professional, and made sure we were on the same page before picking up the clippers. Cut turned out exactly how I wanted. The environment was casual, low-key. Everyone joined in on conversation ranging from 1) my running shoes to 2) professional luchadores to 3) the comical idea of opening a shop where you only give bald cuts (imagine a wall covered with pictures of famous bald actors as "inspiration"). This was my first time at this shop. It was easy to find, clean and eloquently decorated. I was offered something to drink and greeted as soon as I walked in. Haircuts are very reasonably priced (not marked up $10 w/a "free" cocktail like some places). I will be back regularly. This place has exactly what I look for in a barbershop! These guys are masters of their craft, the place is down to earth, not pretentious or over the top like half of the places in town, and you will walk out happy every time. Great conversation with everyone there, and if you don't want to chat no big deal. I've been getting my cuts from Bradley for years now, but every guy in the shop has cut my hair at one time or another and all are fantastic. If you are looking for any other kind of haircut, go somewhere else. I'm not sure about all the barbers, but from what I can tell there skill set here is limited at best and when asked to do anything different (crop), the barber I had was clearly confused, didn't know what I was asking for, and left me with a buzz cut that looks like crap. read more

They require a credit card on file before booking an appointment. They charge your full appointment price if you have to reschedule within 24 hours. In my case, I was stranded in thunderstorms on a lake for 9 hours on a broken down boat with no tow service available. The owner wouldn't make an exception for me.
